    Yum yum!
I have never had a bad meal here, it's very much a typical chain type restaurant in an open mall. But I love it! The food is delicious, and the ambience is pleasant in a way an italian restaurant should be. Nice wine selection and a really great selection of pastas, I also really enjoyed their pork chop, was seriously delicious. They also have a great dessert menu including a delicious tiramisu. Yes I just typed delicious four times because it's the truth! Kid friendly, group friendly, couple romance friendly, everything friendly, so what are you waiting for?

The hungry kitten says: Don't forget to enjoy a nice glass of wine with your meal here!

Here are some reasons why I think Biaggis is wonderful.

They take reservations (I highly recommend doing this even if it is just two of you) and their food is really good.  I've taken my parents here, been to large get-togethers here because they have a big back room, and had romantic evenings with my sweetheart.

The prices are not bad for the amount of food you get.  The focaccia bread is amazing and one of the waiters told us that they make it with mashed potatoes!  I usually end up asking for more.  One of my favorites is the Lobster Linguini.  My friends think the black squid ink noodles look strange, but they taste good.  The Caeser salad is very good with just a hint of anchovy, just as it should be.  I've heard the Chicken Florentine Soup is excellent.  The Garlic Shrimp Oreganta is really good too.  My boyfriend likes the filet mignon.  Excellent for an italian restaurant.  I've never liked anything I've had here.

The service is usually very good.  Some of the waiters (and I say waiters because I haven't had any amazing waitresses there that stand out, but I'm not saying they aren't there) go above and beyond, but I've never had an issue either way.  They are also very great at helping you pair wine with your meal.

The restrooms are also very nice, clean, and fancy.  I think this is the best "chain" restaurant in the city.

Went here with the family for a Christmas Eve dinner and it was an outstanding choice. We were quickly seated, had a fantastic waiter, everyone raved about their dinners, and the desserts were just the right highlights for the evening. We had always set our Standard for Tiramisu at a now-closed restaurant in Denver, and these were just as good and maybe better.  I'm a fan of seafood cannelloni and these were outstanding.  All in all, it was a perfect evening....made even more so by the fact that the kids loved their dinners too!  This was our third visit in the past three years and we'll definitely return!

We have enjoyed Biaggi's for a couple of years:  Steve has been our very favorite waiter and we have enjoyed our wines, salads, meals.  In November,we ate there and the food was not up to par and was cold.  It was crowded that evening so we chauked it up to that.
We finally decided to try again on 1/16/2012.  The wines and bread were great.  I ordered the rib eye with gorgonzolla cheese sauce and my husband chose the spaghetti and meatballs.
I believe the sauce on my steak was there to cover up the poor quality of the meat and my husband's spaghetti was almost tasteless.   We were very sad about the poor meal quality!  If we ever eat there again, I think I will just order a salad.  It is sad when you can't get good spaghetti in an Italian restaurant!

The wait: would've have been 45 minutes, except someone at the bar was nice enough to move down one seat so my boss and I could sit together.

The service:  Excellent!  Both of the female bartenders had great attitudes and were quick with the service.  Never had to ask for a refill of our ice tea.  The kitchen came back with the food in a timely manner.

    The food:

POTATO-PARMESAN CRUSTED TILAPIA -Tender fillet of tilapia lightly pan sautéed with a potato-Parmesan crust. Served with vegetable couscous and a lemon-basil butter sauce.  It was the best tilapia I've tasted so far!

GELATI E SORBETTO - chocolate-chocolate chip ice cream.  Just enough to satisfy my sweet tooth without pushing my belt buckle over the edge.

Nice place to get a great meal!  Free wi-fi is a nice perk as well.

Full disclosure: I used to work here several years ago. I've also been a customer, so I can give an extremely thorough review, from both sides.

Biaggi's is a great restaurant. The "Italian" ambiance is almost nonexistent--you'd never know this place served Italian food, as there's almost no art or decor that's Italian at all. The interior just has dark wood chairs and tables with Macaroni Grill-style paper tablecloths. It's just a "nice" looking place, and they usually play light 1970s light rock/pop songs (U2, Billy Joel, Mel Tormé) rather than Italian music.

You should be able to excuse the plain atmosphere, because the food is generally very, very good. I don't think there's anything they serve that you'd want to stay away from. The soups are excellent, unlike a lot of other places. The most popular dish is a tie between the Chilean Sea Bass and the Lobster Linguini (with black squid-ink noodles). The best salad is the Wedge. Look out for daily specials--if you're lucky, the chef may come up with something local or unusual (Rocky Mountain Trout, or Swordfish flown in from Florida, for instance).

Once you sit down, you're served with Focaccia, Whole Grain Bread and French bread in a basket. The Focaccia is seasoned with sea salt and is absolutely amazing. Your waiter will provide you with a dish of olive oil, salt, cracked pepper and parmesan to dip your bread in. Go easy! It's so good you may get carried away. Most people ask for four or five refills on the bread.

As is typical with most nicer restaurants, you may want to stay away from Biaggi's on holidays. Mothers Day is PACKED. Even if you have a reservation, they will sometimes bring in extra tables and chairs to pack in more people.

They have a huge wine selection, and all the servers are trained in pairing food and wine. If they've been paying attention (some do, some don't), they should be pretty good at suggesting a pairing for your dinner.

Biaggi's is a chain, but they're not like the Olive Garden. The executive chef has a large amount of discretion. It's my guess that your experience at a Biaggi's is highly dependent on who's running it. The location in Colorado Springs is very good. Some of the waitstaff are excellent, some are just ok. If you find a good one, ask for him or her next time.

Two words: Beet salad! I had heard it was great during the summer time and wow I was pleased. It's a perfect blend of light arugula and dressing and heavy cheese, nuts, and avocado to not feel sluggish. I got the salmon&shrimp which was also delicious with some nice lemon flavor on the rice. I couldn't finish it all due to the nice offering of bread with olive oil, pepper, and parmesan cheese. The waitress was nice and well mannered. The restaurant can get a little loud with kids and the music playing which is about one notch too high. All in all this place is great when you're hungry!

A good place to go for nice Italian.
Ambiance: Top notch. Good surrounds and a perfect place for a business lunch/dinner or date night. Fairly quiet but often busy.
Service: Attentive and polite. Very knowledgeable staff who are speedy to boot.
Food: More American-Italian than authentic, but it's very fresh and well prepared. Lots of choice and I haven't had a disappointing dish yet. The portions are huge, so go with the plan to take home half for another meal. Great seafood dishes but I've only gone a few times and haven't fully tried a wide range yet.
Perhaps a little pricey for most people but I think it's worth it. My friends and colleagues have always enjoyed it too, even with the sticker shock.

Mmm, I love Biaggi's.  Hearty Italian food with generous portions.  The atmosphere is nice, service is good and they have several private rooms for parties, wedding receptions, etc.

The appetizers are all excellent, and the chicken parmesan is plenty for two.  They have a whole low carb menu as well.

It's also located right next to the upscale Briargate shopping area.

Came on Valentine's Day with reservations & even though we were running late they were very quick to seat us considering how busy they were. Bread was super cheesy & paired well with olive oil/butter/Parmesan/black pepper blend they make table side. Lobster corn chowder was delicious & had actual chunks of lobster although the croutons were a bit on the salty side. Very generous portions, entrees served on dishes the size of serving platters. Garlic shrimp oreganata was super buttery & the capellini pasta was delightfully al dente. Pork chops were perfectly grilled, not dry at all. Went nicely with the garlic mashed potatoes but was not a fan of the couscous ratatouille at all, very bland & flavorless.

Nice Italian Fare! Better than I expected.

My company team gathered at Biaggi's Ristorante for dinner. We had a table for 13, were promptly seated, and drink orders taken. Our waiter handled all requests promptly, and worked his support staff with great efficiency, I'm always interested to see how a restaurant performs with a large group. Biaggi's staff was up to the challenge! Looking around the nicely appointed room, I saw a number of large groups.

We started with a pair appetizer platters: fried calamari, stuffed mushrooms and bruchetta with buffalo mozzarella & balsamic vinaigrette. There were two sauces for the squid. The starters were good, nothing spectacular. A Caesar salad followed. again, decent, with a a good kick to the dressing.

My main course was the Braised Short Ribs on a bed of risotto, with mushroom stuffed tortellini. The gravy was a brown sauce, probably marsala. I found the ribs very tender and rich. This main course was very nice.

I noticed when the main courses were served, a group of three waiters & waitresses simultaneously descended on our table, so everyone received their plates together. Nice touch!

Can't talk about the wine list... we were drinking beer tonight.

All in All, a nice dinner for a good sized group!

Ambiance: Nicely decorated and appointed establishment. Large bar area is separate from the main dining room. Dimmed lighting and comfy chairs add to the overall dining experience.

Service: Service is friendly and cordial, but nothing more than what you would expect of a dining establishment of this nature. Very good about keeping your water glass filled, and restocking your bread tray. Waiters tend to feel like they are a little rushed at times.

Food: First off this is NOT authentic Italian, but very good American-Italian fare. If you walk in knowing that, you will be satisfied with the large menu selection and quality of food. This is a high-end chain that does a very good job with their kitchen creations. Sauces are cooked from scratch and are of good, fresh ingredients. Especially good is the tomato cream sauce that is served with their penne and other pasta dishes. The entrees are served in very large portions. Salads are of generous size and good quality. The bread is of high quality (focacia, and such), and served with a high grade olive oil for dipping, with Parmesan shavings added). Chicken dishes are good, with well-prepared and seasoned sauces. Pizzas are decent. Desserts taste like thawed frozen deserts from the grocery store (most are not freshly prepared).

Overall, I am always satisfied with my meal, and am a fan of their hearty, made-from-scratch pasta sauces. For authentic Italian food I go elsewhere, but for the American-style variety this is a good bet.

If I had to choose a phrase to describe this restaurant, it would be this: "A much nicer Olive Garden." Walking in, you can see that the place is much classier (subdued lighting, tablecloths, wood interior), but looking at the menu, the prices are comparable to Olive Garden, which was a nice surprise. And yes, you guessed right, it's also a chain restaurant.

First off, their dinner breads are quite delicious. My favorite was the Focaccia bread. I kept on asking for more from the waitress and she gave me a funny look a couple of times. I had no choice. I didn't order an appetizer and I knew that the entree would not fill me up.

Speaking of the entree, I decided to get the lobster linguine. A nice surprise was that the linguine noodles were the black squid ink kind, which I really enjoyed. And like most chain places, the noodles were a little overcooked (I want al dente).

I think that this place would be a great place to take a date. The atmosphere is lively and the menu is very neutral. It's a very safe choice in that there is a lot on the menu that people are used to eating.

As we sat (and sat, and sat) waiting for our food to arrive, I decided to check the Yelp reviews on my phone.  I wish I had done this beforehand, but we were in a hurry, so it was any port in a storm as far as dinner was concerned.  Bad mistake.

Someone described Biaggi's as an Olive Garden with a nicer interior.  I WISH I could agree.  The decor is on par or a tad nicer than OG, but the food is worse.  I would never rave about OG's food and service, but it is far superior to what we experienced at Biaggi's.

Our server has no idea what the word please is for, was extremely pushy, has no idea how to serve...he reached over the top of a couple of my companions.  Not to either side, but over the top, they had to bend over to not have him press down on their heads.  He also spilled several of our drinks as he dropped them off.  2 people asked for no ice, but he thought that meant the entire table for every beverage, even though we informed him otherwise.  He was training another server, Alec, and Alec started to take our small plates after we finished with our bread, etc.  This is the proper procedure as you prepare the table for the main course.  Our server told him to forget it, and just leave the rest of the plates.  He told him this while standing by our table.  Perhaps he was right in wanting to leave the plates, since he probably knew we'd be waiting quite some time for our entrees to arrive.

The BEST comment from any of the 9 in our group was "meh, it's ok".  They rest thought their food was extremely bland, too salty, under/overcooked.  My personal plate was "Riggatoni alla Toscana", basically sausage and peppers, with a dollop of creamy goat cheese in the middle.  Sausage and peppers is my go to Italian dish, though I think I sampled paste as a kid that had better flavor.  Blech. 3 ordered the "Capellini di Mare", basically capellini with seafood.  No flavor, no sauce, barely any seafood.  Another had the "Pork Osso Buco", basically pork on the bone, with vegetables.  The pork was tender and falling off the bone, but the entire dish was extremely salty.  My friend, who was rather hungry from a full day sports tournament, ate less than half.

Our server's trainee, Alec, was great, and should have actually been the one teaching, as our server shouldn't have even been employed.  He was very snotty with us, we heard him complian within earshot that we asked for seperate checks that his tip was shot (just FYI, as a group, we normally tip 20%, provided we get decent service).

None of us will ever return.

I was in town for business & was looking for some place to have dinner. Someone had recommended this place. It looked very inviting, especially since it was snowing.

The hostess made a bit of a comment, that I took to be snide remark about me dining alone.  By the look of the patrons, it looked very much like a place that families go to enjoy food.

But I have to say that the attention the server paid me was excellent. The bread & wine were pretty good. I ordered the veal parmigian. It was a lot of food, but didn't taste fresh, and too salty.

The service at this place is very helpful.  They have a well developed menu covering all the items you'd expect from a family Italian Ristorante!

The prices are reasonable and the food is made fresh...therefore VERY GOOD!

We walked in at 6:15pm on a Saturday Night and were seated immediately.  That was cool!  The place began to fill up by 6:45.

    Definitely worth the experience.

Biaggi's- like someone else said this is NOT authentic Italian food, so if you're looking for that try another place here in town.  This is American-Italian food like someone else here said and it's pretty good.  I happen to think going there for lunch is better than dinner(though they do have a good wine section!).  Better pricing and not too busy.
My usually go to is the half salad/half sandwich.  Love the wedge salad and smoked turkey Panini.  (however  I think most of their sandwiches are very good).  I also enjoy the special's they have when it comes to their pizza.  Not the ones they always have on the menu- I'm talking about the ones they have as specials for the night- I can't remember the names- I just remember they were very good)
I service here can be good or not so.  Majority of the time it is good -but I have had a few bad apples!  Overall a nice place for a sit-down lunch and ok for dinner.

I love the look of this place--so fancy.

The first time I went here I ordered a pizza, but I couldn't even finish it because I couldn't get past the taste of the cheese.  That was my fault, though, because I ordered a mediterranean pizza, which I'm assuming had a different kind of cheese than the kind I'm used to.

The second time I had spaghetti and it was simple and delicious with the bread that's provided.  I ordered a lemon tower cake for dessert and while it wasn't much of a tower I appreciated how prettily it was presented.

Both times the service has been great.

Biaggi's - we love this place & consider ourselves regulars.  Always excellent food AND service.  The only two things that could improve are:  1) Timing.  We barely have time to eat our salad & our dinner arrives.  When you spent $100+ on dinner and you LIKE the atmosphere, you don't want to be rushed.  We always have to tell our server to be SLOW and several times they have acknowledged that, but STILL we are eating our salad when the main course arrives!  2) Please do not have THREE people ask us how our dinner is!!!  Especially, when we have not even taken a bite of our food!  The other night our server came back to ask, then 2 different 'manager-types' stopped by to also ask.  This is especially difficult when you have a mouth full of food!  Next time we will keep our eyes on each other or the food so only our server can interrupt our dinner!

My favorite in C Springs for Italian.  Great atmosphere, great food, great prices.  If you're a Zio's fan, consider trying Biaggi's when you want a more upscale atmosphere, similarly great food, and pretty much the same prices.  Zio's used to be our daughters' favorite spot for those report card reward dinners, then Biaggi's came along.
