I would definitely return here if I were passing through Evansville. We actually had gotten a beeper from Bonefish Grill next door (40-minute-wait!), and I ran over here to check their wait time. NONE! We decided to try it, and were so happy we had!
We were seated immediately in a comfortable booth and our hostess took our drink orders, suggesting a lovely cabernet for me and telling us who our server would be. My husband ordered hot tea, and they presented him with the hot water, poured it for him, and then showed him all his choices in a lovely wooden box. We were ready to order our food when the waiter arrived. I chose the carpaccio and four-cheese ravioli. My husband selected the soup of the day and spaghetti and meatballs.
When the server brought the carpaccio to me, he said, "That is one of my favorite things on the menu, but a lot of people are scared of it. YOU know, though. YOU know!" It was funny how he had found someone to be in his carpaccio club. It actually was very, very good, but there was a lot of it. It could have been my meal, with the meat, small slices of parmesan, capers and greens. My husband thought he ordered the eggplant tomato soup of the day, but when it came, he thought it may just have been the menu's Italian tomato soup. Regardless, he said it was very good. We both enjoyed our pasta entrees a great deal.
The service was personable, professional, attentive and timely. The food was very tasty, the environment was pleasant and there was NO WAIT. We were not familiar with this chain, having none in Arkansas, and if I could I would probably give it 3 1/2 stars, just because the food wasn't on the imaginative side, but the lack of a wait and the level of service made me go up to four stars rather than down to three. Enjoy! -

This may be the finest Italian chain you eat at. It is the best of Evansville. The service us top notch and the pasta is outstanding. The bread is very tasty and begging to be dipped! Moderately priced and portion size is excellent. You'll become a fast fan.

All the other reviewers have pretty much summed up Biaggi's, so I will only try to add some further observations.
I'm a "regular," but it seems I get a different server every time. I am impressed that for the most part they are very well trained and competent. I have frequently asked them for their recommendations and have yet to be unhappy with their suggestions.
The food is consistently delivered within a reasonable amout of time and it usually at the right temperature. There have been a couple of times my soup has been a little less than piping hot, but I have not complained.
I like to visit durig non-peak hours, sit at a table in the bar and enjoy a few glasses of wine. During peak periods, I show up -- never with a reservation -- and either get seated with a short wait or else decide to have my meal at the bar.
People refer to this as a "chain" restaurant, but it is unlike most chains you'd encounter in Evansville. The ambience is very nice, and the prices are in no way out of line for the quality of experience you are getting. -

I normally not a fan of chain restaurants; but when you are in this part of the country; it is quite hard to find nice establishments. We came here after three days of eating the same thing; fast-food and/or lots of potatoes. I was so relief and happy that we finally got to a place that had white table cloths, a full bar menu and some friend staff.
I was mainly surprised with their cocktails; very well prepared, full of flavors with unique, interesting ingredients combination; they really stand out. Food was also good; in part it felt like and an upscale version of Olive Garden and other parts it was more upscale than that and quite nice. Generally enjoyed the whole meal.
Staff was accommodating and friendly; always making sure everything was up to our likings. The decor was grand and it has a feel of a steak house instead of a Italian Restaurant; but nice overall.Listed in: iLike it

One of the best 3 places in Evansville to eat for sure! I love most everything that I have tried here. The Tiramisu is fabulous and I just recently tried the Potato encrusted Tilapia and that was awesome as well. Good service and the wine is all very reasonably priced!

We went to Biaggi's in Evansville last weekend for a wedding rehearsal dinner. The restaurant has a comfortable interior, the decor is tasteful - especially for a chain. The event took place in a private, back room. The room was perfect for this group of about 50 people chatting, laughing, eating and having a great time.
The hosts had red and white wine on the table in carafes. They were alright but, the servers couldn't tell us what they were. However, the servers were fairly attentive with refills! We also ordered beer and martinis which were deems tasty and acceptable.
I couldn't eat any of the appetizers but the calamari looked and smelled delicious. They do have a gluten-free menu available upon request, which always impresses me :) There was actually a rather large selection of gluten-free items available and the server was knowledgeable about the diet restrictions and extremely accommodating. I enjoyed the gluten-free spinach pasta with alfredo (I know....there are so many other great choices but, I never get it!) with shrimp. The people I came with enjoyed the spaghetti marinara and chicken marsala. Everything looked wonderful and the portions were giant sized.
For dessert I had the spumoni ice cream which was chocolate, pistachio and (I think) raspberry. Awesome! Really one of the best non-traditional spumoni ice creams I have had.
Although there is not a Biaggi's near me, I would eat here again given the opportunity to return. I generally prefer non-chains but this one is well executed, at least in Evansville! -

I have been to B's 4 times and have walked out on cloud 9 everytime. You do get great service and delicious food. My last visit was the best and i was really impressed with the Servers knowledge of the wine list and dessert choices that would compliment the wine we had decided to enjoy.
If you have a night alone with your loved one and you both want some yummy Italian food in a clean and intimate environment i would recommend B's as you will not be disappointed.
The name of the dish escapes me now, but there is a yummy pasta and seafood dish with wondrous garlic flavor that they offer and its so delicious and well worth sharing with your loved one. The tiramisu is very good, not soggy and wonderfully complimented with a shaving of choco-late.....
I give it a solid four stars and recommend you spend an evening dining at Biaggi's -

Biaggi's is one of my favorite restaurants in Evansville. There are times when you could find me there up to three times a week. My favorite is their potato crusted tilapia.

I never knew I would find such a good restaurant in a place I don't know well at all. This has to be one of my favorite places for spaghetti and meatballs especially since there was a snow storm going on that day.
The portions were huge, the restaurant is clean and spacious and not only are they friendly, but they have great service. -

The area has plenty of parking, yet I would like to complain about getting into the plaza. I could not find the entrance until I went to the very back of Target. Oh well, not too much of a complaint to take away a star.
Ok, so we went in and asked for a table for three. Within minutes they were ready for us. Well, it was late so I wouldn't think the restaurant to be full. Mind you this, we were recommended this place. Usual recommendation are thought highly, so it helps to know the right people with the correct appetite. Yum.
Like most 'italian ristorante' places, I suggest myself to try the Spaghetti and Meatball dish. Is it better than Park Chow? First off, the complimentary bread was very tasty. I liked it. My entree did taste good, yet the sauce was different texture. The noodles were kind of bland. On the good side, they give a huge portion of dinner.
Wow, I started this review with 5-stars, and it ended up with 3. Sorry Charlie, but that's all folks. Didn't bother trying the dessert since I was so stuffed.
The service here is 5-stars though. They are great as gravy! -

WOW!! We hadn't plan to go here but went for a late lunch during the week and our party of three left raving about the goodness of Biaggi's. Lots of vegetarian options!! I had the fried eggplant, sister had BLTA sandwich with some amazing chips and mom had a chicken dish that she nearly licked the plate clean. Our server was very nice and helpful, restaurant was clean and food was terrific!! Finally, a yummy place that isn't disappointing.

Slightly pricey but very tasty Italian-esque cuisine. We had good service from our waiter and there was a good selection of entrees in the $13-$20 range. The air was a little cold and it's brighter and noisier than I would like, but it wasn't difficult to get a table on a Sunday night. My Beam & Coke w/ lime took too long to receive but apparently alcohol is a big part of their business model. Glad they didn't forget the lime like other places.

On the east side of Evansville, the chain restaurant is king. They are everywhere. On a Friday or Saturday night, hordes of people from places like Henderson and Olney huddle en masse waiting to feast at places like Rafferty's or the Olive Garden. Just down the way in the "new" Target complex (everything built after 1994 when I moved away is "new") is another chain restaurant, Biaggi's. Now, I am not normally a chain restaurant kind of guy, but I like this place. This is "fine" dining Evansville style (how I mourn the River House, that was as close to fine dining as you could get in E-town). The atmosphere is okay and most of the patrons aren't wearing flip flops. The food is surprisingly good, and the wine list is inexpensive if mediocre. I have to give props (did I just say that?) to the service. They still know how to do service in Indiana. I love that Midwestern work ethic.
So, if you are in town. Check it out. -

I'd have to say that they probably have one of the best fillets in town. Something else that's nice is they change their specials about once a week. Also you can ask for items not on the menu, if they have the ingredients they will make it. If you get a chance ask for lindsey to wait on you. Not only is she a great server she really has a good knowledge of their wine selection.
