The only record store with a Psychobilly section in the Chicago area. Metal, Punk and Ska are also available. Band t-shirts, head-shop fair etc...

I HATE THIS SHOP!! The owner is a total loser and as you can figure from another girl's post here, he is a sick sexist maniac. I wanted to get my tongue pierced there once. While I was getting pierced, he started french kissing me! I pushed him away hard then he grabbed my boob and told me to get out of the shop! My friend got the same kinda sexual harrasment. He's too horny to know that a bunch of our friends have been shoplifting stuff from there. haha!
Yeah yeah yeah, they sell bongs and pipes. Now that that's out of the way, there really is more to this place than it being Ye Olde Neighborhood Head Shoppe. The minimal, but excellent, collection of Cds they carry is worth the trip to the Limit on it's own. Occasionally they've got some interesting vinyl or live show bootlegs too.
If you're not into music or weed (who the fuck are you then?) check out their stock of punk, rock and comic t-shirts, body jewelery and incense. At the counter in the back they sell a range of tabacco products, including strange and quirky cigarette brands, hookahs, pipes, tobacco and rolling papers.
Whenever Christmas rolls around I almost always end up knocking a couple people off my life at Beyond the Limit.

Hahahaha my band played a show here once and it was awesome! Beyond the Limit is for only the most hardcore, punk rock, metal head, satan guzzling, devil worshipping kick ass bitches around! Couldn't you tell just by walking in there? They have BONGS man. BONGS. Bitchin'.

I give this a store an A for effort, even though I haven't bought anything from here in 2 years. If you are looking to pick up a Metal ,punk, comic , or novelty shirt , give this place a shot. This is like the Northwest side's answer to the Alley , way smaller though , but not too bad. You can pick up some 420 supplies here , though thats not my thing. They also have some punk and hippy jewelry , spiked wristbands and the like. You can find a smaller selection of punk, metal and alt cds here too. There is a good supply of some novelty stuff , like a kiss diorama or a James Brown bobble head. I stop by at least once a month , to find something goofy , like I said , I haven't bought anything in years.
Very cool place. They have many different types of earrings. They also have alot of posters of muscial artists and famous people. The piercing are cheap there and come out great.

Not a bad place, has a lot of fun stuff. The only complaint I have is when my friend got her tongue pierced there about 5 years ago.. the guy ( who i think is the owner) was kind of pervy and creepy... Plus that room was tiny.

This place is like an unheard of Spencers-type gift, gag, and record shop. You'll find unusual jewelry, many varieties of incense, tons of radical gear, and much more. It's a very unusual but much welcomed shopping experience. This is also a great place to check out if you're the type that likes punk hair dye.

A cool place for collectibles and gifts. They also carry local band CDs. They got some funny and radical t shirts. I recommend browsing through this store. Take a break from shopping down the street and support these little guys!
