So I never got around to posting a review on the actual procedure. Shame on me. Here goes..
To start with, I did NOT park in the underground garage. I parked on a residential street with a 2-hour time limit. No fees, no money-hungry valets...perfect.
I walked into the front lobby and was greeted by Carol and her lovely smile...and I only waited about five minutes until the doc came out and got me.
We chatted for a little bit, and I admitted that I was kind of nervous, so he did his best to comfort me and offered me a glass of water. When I said I was ready, he got right to work.
Now I have to admit, this wasn't "real" surgery...just a minor non-surgical procedure: so only local anesthesia, no cutting, no bleeding. But I was still nervous...I guess I'm kind of a wuss.
Dr. Chiu worked quickly, and I was grateful for that, because I was starting to feel an anxiety attack coming on--the sweaty palms, accelerated heartbeat, nausea, etc. WTF, right? I honestly don't know why I was reacting this way, but the doc took it in stride and let me rest in the room for a good 20 minutes with the lights off after the procedure.
I felt bad for taking up one of their rooms just because I decided to be a big wussy that day, so I came out even though I was still feeling shaky. Everyone was really awesome about it though; I gotta give them credit for being so patient with me...I bet nobody else reacted this poorly to such a minor procedure, but they insisted it was okay and asked me if I wanted to go to the back and lie down for a while. I politely declined and walked out to my car...which had NO parking ticket, hadn't been towed away, and didn't require paying ridiculous valet fees to get, by the way! =P

I don't think this warrants a separate review, so I'll just post it here:
My experiences after the procedure--minimal swelling, no pain, lingering effects from the anesthesia only lasted an hour or so, and I didn't look like a deformed freak. So far, so good.
I went to work about two hours after my procedure (told you it was minor), and...well, I got a LOT more attention from my male co-workers than I normally do. But nobody seemed to realize I'd gotten work done; no one asked me about it, nobody commented that a certain part of my face looked different--not even my mom, who happened to visit me at work that day.
Now THAT's what I call good work....subtle, but just enough to create a noticeable difference in overall appearance.
It wasn't just at work either...I've also gotten more attention pretty much wherever I go: bars, concert venues, stores, etc. It's probably a combination of my new look and improved confidence, but I'm still really glad I went to Dr. Chiu for my procedure.

Came here for a facial the other weekend and was so impressed with the entire experience. From the second I walked in the door to the moment I left, I experienced great customer service and friendly smiles! The lady who did my facial was amazing - super friendly and helpful.
I would definitely come back for another facial - love the staff and Skin Ceuticals!
BHPS is a beautiful place--elegantly appointed, sparkling clean, with lovely staff. It looks like a Chanel showroom, and they always have plates of cookies and lemon water & tea available. This stuff wouldn't matter if the services weren't great, but since they are it's frosting on a very nice cake.
I've had facials with Sandra and Alexa, and both of them are thorough and talented. They use the Skinceuticals line exclusively, so you know you are putting the best stuff on your face and it's all available for purchase (although they don't do the hard sell unlike other places *cough--Kate Somerville--cough*). I can recreate at least part of my treatment at home with my products which is great.
Carol at the front desk is so nice to absolutely everyone who walks in the door, and always makes you feel welcome. Dr. Chiu and his wife have been very supportive of various businesses and non-profits around town, which makes me appreciate this place even more. The only drawback? They don't validate for non-surgical procedures and the building's parking is PRICEY. Schedule yourself an extra 5 minutes to walk from the City parking lot on Beverly (Carol gave me that tip) and save yourself a bundle!
Now go enjoy a leisurely facial at BHPS, it is well worth it!
I found this place here on yelp a couple of months ago and was extremely happy. The office is very clean with cool hip design. The staff is very friendly. Alexa is so helpful. Holly is an awesome aesthetician and enjoy our small chats during our sessions. I'm getting compliments about my skin! It's so easy to contact them even via email. They send reminders twice before your appointment. There is free parking at the BH public parking a block away.
Dear Yelper's... Surgery update it's been 45 days today and it still amazes me that my body is going through changes. I started with a dress size of 14 and currently between 8 and 10. WOW! So excited. For those of you that don't know feel free to read my previous yelps on Dr Chiu he's is amazing surgeon. I had a breast lift, implants, tummy tuck, and lipo in 4 areas. I'm so excited with my new body my friends and family compliment me all the time. It's nice to look as young as you feel. I'm 41 about to be a grandma and happy to share that I still turn heads. But all fun aside if you are looking to get some work done visit Dr Chiu you won't regret it. Dr Chiu insist that you ask questions if you are tired of searching for the right surgeon, no worries Dr Chiu is the prefect surgeon. You will be amazed with professionalism. I can't express how grateful I am for the honestly and professionalism that Dr. Chiu, Mrs. Chiu and staff have portrayed everything I visit their office. I'm already thinking of getting some minor touch-up here and there... stay tune. For those of you that are wondering about scars mine are very minimal and my tummy is perfectly flat. I love you Dr.Chiu

I came here for a facial, and had an amazing experience. The staff is friendly and the treatments are great. It is a beautiful place, and they treat you fantastically from start to finish! My skin looked beautiful afterwords. Highly recommend.
Lets talk about Dr. Chiu at Beverly Hills Plastic Surgery. I was referred to him through a friend of mine and it has been one of the best referrals I have ever gotten. His office staff is simple amazing, they are always there to help you with anything you may need. They greet you as you walk into their office with a smile and some hot coffee with biscotti or warm tea mmmmmmmm. I had two procedures done with him and I have been very pleased with my results. He is an excellent surgeon. My mother had microdermabrasion and she loved it. I highly recommend Dr. Chiu to anyone wanting to do some type of cosmetic procedure..
BHPS is great! Please let me begin by saying that I was so extremely nervous to have surgery. Dr. Chiu and his staff made me feel comfortable and safe. Now it's been 2 months since my surgery and I've never been more satisfied. I love my new body and I feel confident. The staff at BHPS is extremely friendly, available and ready to answer any question you may have, day or night. I am telling all my friends and family about Dr. Chiu and about my positive experience at BHPS. Try it ladies and gents...you will not regret it :-)
