NOTE: It's cash only!
This place is so unassuming. You would never know that they sold NECTAR OF THE GODS here.
If you like juice that tastes like you are biting out of a piece of fruit (something along the lines of Simply Orange or Simply Apple but wayyy better), then you must run here!
The Apple Strawberry Coconut juice ($6) is my absolute favorite. It takes all of my willpower not to stand there and chug it at the cash register. When I drink this, I can almost taste the "crispiness" of an apple. I don't know what kind of magic they use to make their juice, but yes, they have been able to translate a texture into a flavor.
Today, V and I bought 3 juices and drank them throughout the day. The Apple Mint Coconut and the Apple Kiwi Coconut are also amazing. But, Apple Strawberry Coconut still has my heart! I definitely need to try their apple cinnamon coconut and pumpkin cinnamon coconut juices next time.
However, you should take note that they don't serve all of the juices on the menu everyday. You have to look at the window of stacked bottles inside the store in order to see what they're selling that day.
They also serve smoothies, veggie juices, and wheatgrass shots.
This is one of my favorite treats in LA! Absolutely worth trying! :) -

I LOVE SMOOTHIES. I really consider myself a smoothie connoisseur because I've been making them since I was probably 8 years old. And back then we didn't even have a real blender so I tried using an immersion blender to crush ice. Dedication.
Anyway, I'm so lucky this place is walking distance to my house. It's a little overpriced and it's cash only so I only get to spoil myself every once in awhile. But when I do, it's glorious. I love Carrot juice and their Carrot-Coconut juice in a Banana Manna smoothie is pretty much all of my favorite things in the world combined. And for a girl who is lactose intolerant, having a completely non diary delicious smoothie is the best discovery ever. And did I mention this smoothie is BIG!? It's heaven.
I've just figured out how to make a similar Banana Manna concoction at home, but unfortunately do not have a juicer yet, so I won't quite be able to make my own smoothie replicas just yet. But that's okay. I don't mind venturing over a few blocks and paying top dollar for a delicious and filling smoothie every few weeks. -

Yum. When nothing sounds good to eat, get a feel-good freshly made fruit/veggie drink here. They come in pint bottles. While not cheap, they taste of healthy goodness.
Challenge for the day: finding the "bell" that summons the help. It took us a good 5 minutes to figure out that....
it is an ordinary light switch on the wall leading to the cold room. Yeah, there was a sign on another wall that gave us a clue, but don't you think they could just put an obvious sign right under the switch that says, "Bell. Ring me" ?Listed in: For Special diets

Pressed Juicery is way better than Beverly Hills Juice. And now there's a Pressed Juicery in WeHo so even better for me!

Fresh Veggie and Fruit juices sign me up. Yes, the price is going to be expensive for these things because it takes a lot of veggie or fruit to make juice.
I've only been here once but what I got (Beet, Carrot, Celery) made me feel like a champ and got my system running right ;-).
Definitely try this place out if your not worried spending a little dough.

I never came to this place but I ve been meaning to for years so I finally did. The place is the size of a bathroom literally. So fortunately I was the only person to enter at the time, and then there were like, 6 people behind me all waiting behind the door so negative points for the clausterphobia issue... I got a strawberry coconut apple juice, excellent indeed but that was about $5. 50 so a bit pricy but well worth the healthy side and taste... one more negative thing THEY DO NOT ACCEPT DEBIT OR ANY CREDIT CARDS... SO THAT WAS LAME, TOO , CONSIDERING HOW EXPENSIVE THEY ARE.

I can't believe anyone would rate this place with a one star! Who has been rating it?!!! Obviously, the individuals in question are so tainted by a diet of artificial ingredients and chemically engineered "food" products that they are unable to appreciate such a gem. This establishment has no competition when it comes to delivering fresh-pressed, organic juices that are pure as God intended and exploding with natural flavor. Also, the non-dairy, banana-almond based smoothies are a fantastic, more substantial alternative to the juice on its own. I'm absolutely addicted and better off for it!

I love Beverly Hills Juice! It is a very tiny, tiny space. Only enough room for 3-4 people to stand in line. But you go in, tell them what you want, and you leave.
They also have a very nice website. I recommend you go to their website and decide what you want before going in. When I buy several juices at a time, I just go on their website and write down what I want and then hand them the list. Everything is already bottled - they don't juice it in front of you. But it is very, very fresh tasting. Plus the bottles are super cute!
The place is very clean. Not all of the people that work there are the friendliest, but I overlook that for the juice. They do NOT take credit cards - cash only, so come prepared.
Also, you have to try their Banana Mana ice cream - it is the best! I usually get a Banana Mana shake, in which they add your choice of juice to the ice cream (which is made from frozen bananas and either sunflower seeds or almonds). So, so refreshing and healthy! -

I was a customer there for years. But quite frankly only went b/c was only place that had fresh juice. Now there is Pressed Juicery and other places that are way better, bigger, nicer. So sick and tired of the signs telling me what to do! Hey there I'm a customer, you should make me feel welcome - they don't take credit cards, you HAVE to use recycle bin. Signs all over saying: CLOSE THE DOOR, DON'T PUT TRASH IN TRASH CAN...LOL....BRING YOUR OWN BAG....WE DON'T PUT JUICE IN CUPS DRINK OUT OF BOTTLE....OMG....really???? thanks bh juice...i'll take my money elsewhere, to a place where i can get a smile and a thank you and put my trash in a trash can!! Also, you might want to look into expanding just a bit - perhaps take the bar out so that your CUSTOMERS, who PAY YOUR BILLS FOR YOU have a place to stand while they wait for you to tell them what they can and cannot do! Good luck with that. Show some gratitude for the loyalty shown over so many years. And hey new girl....might try a smile now and then. If you hate your job then get another one. Oy. Oh and thanks so much for being closed for ONE WEEK during the holidays so that even Erewhon doesn't have your juice. Nice way to once again inconvenience your loyal clientelle. I mean seriously? ONE WEEK? I've never in my life heard of a business closing for ONE ENTIRE WEEK. But hey it's your world bev hills juice and we just live in it. Well, not me anymore! See ya and good luck with all that!!!

I got the almond and banana 'milkshake' with coconut juice. It was perfect, refreshing and delicious.
Oh and there was free broccoli (now you'll know why there's people walking around town with a single head of it).
That being said, this drink was around $11, which only allows for an occasional visit. And the place is itty bitty, kind of like a mosh pit. -

While this would've been a 4-star review for the fact that the juice is not made to order yet still costs a limb or two, I'm adding a 5th star bc my gf and I didn't notice they were cash-only until after I'd had a shot of E3 Live poured for me, and the proprietor gave it to me for free. We went and got cash and came back for juices, and he still didn't charge me for it. He was very nice, so apparently we caught him on a good, non-crochet-y day, as numerous others here seem to have had the opposite experience.
I don't like that you can't add anything to the juices, since I find green juice more tolerable with lemon and ginger, but the combos were interesting regardless, and the "hot tomato tonic" was just as serious as the man said it would be. Nothing like some onion/garlic/oregano/cayenne juice to put a lil spring in your step!
This is very old school compared to Liquid- nary a cacao nib or spoonful of maca root are to be found- but B.H. Juice offers things Liquid doesn't, like watermelon rind juice, and the aforementioned tomato detox craziness. It's worth straying occasionally from my usual juice haunt, as I am always a sucker for anything that feels like the 70s/80s healthfoodiness I grew up with, and it's not any further of a walk than Liquid.Listed in: My Organs Are Organic

This is great yet high-priced juice, so be prepared to plop down 10 or 12 bucks but it will fill you up like a big meal so it's well worth it.
The banana manna shakes are great and you just choose the kind of juice you want blended in.
Today I just asked the guy what was his favorite drink and he said it depends both on how he feels and how he wants to feel. It was kind of a surprising and interesting answer, so I asked him what he felt like and since he was kind of tired he wanted a ginger with two shots of algae slurry. I was feeling kind of tired too but algae, yuck, so I thought! Anyhow, I decided to take the plunge and get ginger juice with algae and it was really really really good. It was a boost but not in the same stimulant sense of coffee or tea. -

Picture this: a beautiful August summer Saturday in Los Angeles. Mid-morning. A distinct craving for a yummy cold-pressed juice. Where does one go? Only the Beverly Hills Juice bar, of course. A little mom and pop shop on Beverly and Orlando, been in the business for years, etc. etc. Having heard many-a-good things about the business, I decided to try it out.
My boyfriend and I walk in, lining into your closet-sized bar. Standing behind three other people who were unsure of what to order, we all stood and stared at the menu. To the right of it was a window, displaying your perfect little bottled juice-babies. Due to the crowd and 'overwhelmingness' of selection, I spot an "apple/mango" combination and make my decision. While this is happening, an older fellow behind the counter (strangely wearing headphones) who I assume to be the 'Pop' of this establishment, barks at all of us in a heightened and annoyed tone, "What can I get you? Do you know what you want?" The people ahead of us nicely say to go ahead and order.
So, my boyfriend (who has been here before) tells him his order and then 'Pop' looks to me like a drill sargent - I happily reply to his angered glance, "I'll have the apple/mango, please!". At this point in time, I had no idea what to expect. This 'Pop' fellow proceeds to shout at me in a tone that not even the worst customer would deserve. "YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO ORDER OFF THE MENU. LOOK AT THE WINDOW FIRST. DON'T COME IN HERE WITHOUT KNOWING WHAT YOU WANT".
I was absolutely floored. He walks into the cold storage to grab my boyfriend's drink, places it on the counter and barks a price at him. I stood there, horrified in front of a store full of people. 'Pop' doesn't ask me if I wanted something different. Didn't even offer. At that point, he physically throws his change onto the glass counter and yelps, "What can I get you?" to the next group.
I walk out.
Maybe a freak thing? Maybe bad luck? Or, just an ill-tempered juice man who needs to figure it out. I'll be saving my 8 bucks for a home made version, thanks anyways. -

My friend went here and was YELLED AT by a crusty old man for ordering incorrectly. EXCUSE ME, CRUSTY OLD MAN, I don't care how good your juice is or how bad your hemorrhoids are flaring up, DO NOT YELL at people who are there to plunk down 10 bucks for a cup of juice. Clearly if someone doesn't know how to order correctly, it's because they've never been there before. You should be extra nice to help ease the blow of overpriced juice to make sure the customer comes back.
Figures a rich yuppie juice place would be owned by mean pretentious and judgmental people. Not only will I not go to this establishment, after hearing how badly my friend was treated, but I'll tell everyone I know not to go there. Screw you Beverly Hills juice. Stick your apple-carrot-pear where the sun don't shine. -

Nine years ago I moved to Nor Cal and have said many times over the years that the only thing I miss about L.A. is the Beverly Hills Juice Club. Suffice it to say, that when I come down to visit, several trips here are in order.
They start pressing their juice at an ungodly hour every morning, so I always know what I'm buying was only pressed a few hours earlier. Big Ten, Watermelon Juice, Apple Lemon Triple Ginger, and Cinnamon Apple Coconut... well work the 20bucks!
And the counter dude only seems grumpy compared overly hyper Jamba~ristas. -

This place is the BIZNEZZ!! No fancy nonsense... Just a great product! I was a bit disappointed NOT to find a grumpy old man behind the counter like other yelpers claimed, I like someone to spar with lol... I found a patient handsome OG juicer who took my order & let me know what to get next time. The juices aren't made to order but they are made each morning so what's the difference really? Less wait? WAHOO! I've been back almost everyday... I swear there is an addictive substance in the Banana Manna!

This was the best morning I've had since I've succumbed to the tequila drenched courtship rituals known as "Summer". I needed something completely cruelty free. Even though its been years since I was vegan I still have strong vegan urges and tendencies. The Banana Manna Shake with Apple Strawberry Coconut Juice is the best thing I've had in months. So yummy and satisfying. I swear....this and a 15 minute Cardio blast will make your entire life better. No exaggeration. I love this place. Its cute and always smells clean. Every Juice here is tasty and will almost make you prefer juice fasts to regular eating...Almost.

I really do like the concept of picking a base and then adding your combination of fruit.
I chose the bananamana with almonds with apple, mint and coconut. So nice. The consistency of my smoothie was perfect. Creamy, not too sweet or too tart. And very, very filling.
However, this place is expensive and I can't justify the price. -

Los Angeles, CA
Beverly Hills Juice has by far the best juices and shakes I have ever tasted in my life, in LA or anywhere. Everything has this really incredible clarity and brightness of flavor, which comes from the fact that it is all made from farm-fresh, locally sourced organic produce and juiced using a hydraulic press, which preserves all the natural nutrients. And not only does it taste amazing, it also makes me feel energized and refreshed because it's made only with the best organic fruits and vegetables, nothing else. BHJ takes such care in how they run their business, and it really shows. From the quality of the produce to the environmentally-friendly packaging and sustainable business practices (read about them on the wall of the store), you can tell that everything has been thought through with great care to deliver the absolute healthiest and best-tasting juice in a very sustainable way.
I also just want to take a moment to address a few of the negative things people have said on Yelp, with which I disagree. For those who say it is too expensive, I want to remind you that it's completely organic, with no additives of any kind (including sugar), and it is made by hand right on site. If you want a cheap smoothie filled with sugar go to Jamba Juice (which isn't even that cheap). If you want something organic, nourishing, and real that tastes incredible and is actually good for you, go to BHJ. Everything about it is worth the cost, which I think is actually very reasonable when you consider what's in it. Also, I have never had a negative experience with the service here. They are usually super busy, so if anything all I have noticed is that they are trying to work quickly to serve everyone in line. To make ordering easier, check the window displaying the lined-up bottles of juice. Those are the "currently available" juices. There is a big menu that lists all their different juice combos posted up on the wall, but since everything is local, seasonal, and organic, not all combos are available at all times. So checking the window is key!
If you want juice or incredible healthy shakes, going here is a no-brainer. You will love it. -

This is a great juice place that is not actually located in Beverly Hills. The name has me baffled. Did they first open in Beverly Hills and then move to the current location? Why would anyone add the name Beverly Hills to a place when they are not located in Beverly Hills? For me, Beverly Hills is a turnoff and I try not to frequent places located there.
But I digress.....
Yes it's a tiny shop. Yes it's sort of a hole in the wall. Yes, the juice is fresh - squeezed on site. Yes a smoothie will set you back $8 or more. Yes they use a homemade banana-almond frozen concoction to make their dairy-free smoothies.
It totally reminds me of a place in Berkeley. Kind of hippyish, kind of 70's - ish. Very cool though.
Check it out. -

I usually go for the BananaMana Shake with almonds plus tangerine/coconut juice (sometimes I add the 3live shot). It's my favorite.
I don't recommend the wild?blueberry juice because of some very rough seeds and one got stuck in my throat for the whole day and night which was very annoying and painful to experience.
I like the veggies juices and wheat grass shots. The store is a great place for any health conscious person like myself.
The place is way better than the other one I've recently checked called Raw Raw Live Food.
But there is a big withdrawn that I experienced lately at BH Juice. I purchased a coconut milk to take home with me. Unfortunately the milk was spoiled!!! I was really disappointed but because I don't live close by I couldn't go back to get a refund ( I don't even know if they would give it to me...). So to be honest as much as I like this place a lot I am little bit more sceptic about them after the incident. -
Review from Agatha H.
Calabasas, CA
I agree with other reviews in that it is a confusing place to order a drink here. First of all, the space is not conducive to mill around and figure out how the system works; and secondly, there are no clear signs of menu options. Once your order is taken you ask the guy making the juices, but one feels compelled to make a quick decision at that point. But, once you figure out the system you will be hooked on these juices. Yeah, it's very pricey but it's also worth it. From the pre-made juices some of my favorites when they are in season are: anything with coconut mixed, persimmon. The banana manna shakes mixed with any pre-made juices are so good...definitely a meal in itself and worth a try at least once and mixing it up with whatever juice you want.

I tried one of their juices about a week ago when a friend brought me one. I enjoyed it so much, I decided to swing by. Usually, I prefer to juice myself, but do to the tedious cleanup when you I don't have the time, a juice bar is ideal.
The place is the size of a closet. It was obviously my first time here, but the girl behind the counter was less than friendly. Reading some of the other reviews, that seems to be a common theme. She was annoyed when I ordered a juice that wasn't available, which was purely by accident, not understanding that the only juices available were in the window. Looking at the menu, more than half of the juices on there weren't available.
I thoroughly enjoy the juices here, that's why I gave it three stars. But, I would rather clean up my own mess from my juiced than deal with miserable people. -

I can't believe I'm the first person to review this place. They have the best juices around and have been a Beverly Blvd. institution forever. They juice in a completely different was. Instead of juicing through your standard juicer, they cold-pressing the fruit. So like for for their orange juice for instance, it's very creamy without the pulp. My favorite thing to get here is the Banana Manna shake, made with this sorbet like stuff that is made solely from bananas and ground sunflowers or almonds and mixed with your favorite juice. I like to mix mine with their Orange Coconut and add an E3 Live shot. Yummmmy!!!
They also sell some Dr. Schulze products, which is great if you don't feel like driving to Marina Del Rey.
Also everything it Organic!
Bring cash or a check, they don't take credit cards. -

Juices here are always fresh and tasty. I tend to stick to the bottled juices (favorites are apple mint and apple ginger) which are $4 or $5 but I have also had smoothies like triple apple ginger with almond butter and algae. It was a ridiculous $10. Definitely not a cheap place but an indulgence from time to time.

Not expecting much I came here at the request of my wife. Completely blown away by the owner... he literally knows all of his customers by their names and genuinely friendly with everyone. The apple, strawberry, coconut was absolutely awesome. Like I said, not expecting much and instead got a flavormash of a good healthy drink. The price was more than I expected, but thought it was a worthwhile luxury.

Beverly Hills Juice Woah!!!!!!
That stuff is crazy good. Old man river says he uses a hydraulic press to juice the sh*t out of your favorite fruits and veggies. His combos are unreal! Apple, Kiwi, Coconut... yes, yes, yes. Now that's a threesome! And seriously this was my first. My girlfriend introduced me to this place,... probably because she is into threesomes. At least she was before she met me!
The guy that owns this place is old so he's got experience. Everything is healthy and delicious. After leaving you honestly want to go home and make your own juices (it's a little expensive) but good luck because he's better than you.
Juice it up! -

Los Angeles, CA
Here it is... the ultimate juice experience. All the mundane, corporate purveyors of "Smoothies" with frozen fruit and mysterious powders (Robeks, Jamba Juice) have now been stricken from my repertoire.
The Bananamana shakes (their flagship item) are a blend of the juice of your choice, plus an "alternative ice cream" that consists of bananas and your choice of almonds or sunflower seeds frozen into a delicious clump of all natural goodness. So simple. So delicious. I recommend the tangerine coconut juice, and I generally go for the banana-almond ice cream.
The praise aside, there are some valid complaints that could be lodged in regard to BHJ's business practices. First of all, the prices are as high as I have ever seen for juices and smoothies. The bananmana shake with tangerine and coconut runs you $11 (depends on market price of the juice/fruit I guess), although the average price is somewhere between $8-10. Also, they only accept cash, which can be a total pain in the ass if you've forgotten and have to run to an ATM while your shake lays in waiting on the counter. They also are not open Sundays, which while not uncommon, is unfortunate because I often find myself pining for their juice on a relaxing Sunday afternoon.
In any case, I have yet to find another establishment that even comes close to approaching the quality of Beverly Hills Juice, so I will certainly endure their idiosyncrasies. Its just too good to resist! -

Dude what is up with this place? I've been several times and the girl behind the counter is a straight up bitch and everything is pre-bottled it seems. What's the deal with that? Sure it's squeezed like a few hours before but uhh...part of the beauty is to have it done in front of you.
Love the hole-in-the-wall space and once I was helped by a mellow middle-aged guy who was great. But I seriously would rather go to Erewhon and avoid this bizarre experience. Their concoctions are fine but this is L.A. & there are hundreds of places offering the same thing or better... -

I had the apple lemon triple ginger and wish I could have one everyday. Unbelievably the best juice - and I like Real Food Daily's juice bar a lot. This takes the lead on where I will get my juice fix in LA.
I also had the beet carrot celery which was good but not as yummy as the apple lemon triple ginger. Totally worth $5.50. They only take cash FYI. -

I come here all the time for their massive selection of raw, organic, fresh-pressed juices, wheatgrass & their raw hummus (mmm...yummus!!).
Yeah, yeah, yeah the grouchy old guy has barked at me, but so what?! Old people get crotchety. Big deal. Yes, he has told me that I ordered wrong, taken other peoples orders before mine b/c apparently I wasn't quick enough. My ego, unlike other yelpers here who shall remain nameless, is strong enough to handle the Eye of The Senior. I'm fine with it. Y'know why?? Cos their Apple, Lemon Triple Ginger Juice makes me feel like a I could run this whole friggin' country with my eyes closed, damnit. Because their Organic Mixed Greens Juice is filled with the juicy, juices of natures bounty and my body freaks-the-eff-out when I drink it. I deal with meany-pants b/c I dreeeeaaaam of their frozen Banana Manna (with almonds, thank you very much) when I'm in the mood the splurge on carbs after a solid cardio day and because even though their wheatgrass is just as gag-inducing as any other I've had, the mean guy has the decency to offer me chaser strong enough to actually stifle my immediate urge to vomit it up. That's what I call a good American, goddamnit.
These are the reasons I put up with old guy and if you knew what was really good for you, you would too. -

The best healthy hole-in-the-wall (Quite literally. The place is TINY!)
Here is the deal, they press their juices, so they do not oxidate quickly and retain their taste and nutrients. There are choices of in season fruits and veggies. Feeling sick? get the Hot Tomoatoe with all kinds of goodies to move out any cold. Wheat Grass and E3 Live Shots (at a reasonable price). And almost all the juices are alone or with yummy coconut cream.
I go in an stock up for the day.
For a treat, I get the Banana Mana Almond (an ice cream scoop of raw almonds and bananas) mixed with either the tangerine or apple cinnamon fresh squeezed juice. It is the healthiest, simplest raw shake around. -

Great, delicious, fresh juice. Tons of great varieties. The persimmon coconut? yum yum yum. The cash only thing can be a pain for someone like me who never seems to have cash on them. But once, I came in with my sister, and I realized we were short on cash after our wheat grass shots had already been made. As I ran to the atm the old man everyone complains about told my sister all about wheat grass and then when I got back made me a new one (for free!) because mine had apparently oxidized. He was super nice, (granted it wasn't a busy time), and I think takes great pride in making healthy juice and runs a great business.

Don't let the name fool you, this place is way laid back. If you like hating on Republicans, conservative values, religion, but also love fresh, healthy juice, this is your place. Everyone who works in here has traveled thru a time portal from Venice, CA circa 1972 to front this operation. Feed your vibe at Beverly Hills Juice.
