Beverly Center used to be much better as they used to have decent priced parking. I think it was like the first two hours for like $1 or something really good like that.
I used to get some ridiculous deals at the D&G store I got a pimp D&G belt for like $30 bucks. But I guess over all the quality has gone down at the bev center.
As others mentioned theres more and more a ghettoliciouz crowd as even many of the workers are pretty ghetto as well. I remember I was looking for Jordans at one of the shoe stores and the ghetto ass sales guy claimed that he had certain Jordans that no other store had and he got all loud and crazy for no reason like he was defending his territory from the rival footlockers hahaha. WACK!
It's LA. There are better places that:
1. Do not charge for parking;
2. Better laid out;
3. Are not infested by certain types of people.

Considering that I'm from Orange County and am used to shopping at South Coast Plaza, this review may be a little biased.
I thought that the Beverly Center was decent and it's sufficient when you need to buy a couple things but can't get to your favorite mall, but overalli it's nothing spectacular. There are a smattering of good shops, but on the whole it's pretty small and there are a lot of stores I'd never heard of and therefore aren't interested in. But on the plus side there is a Bloomingdales, Forever 21, Dior, Coach, Starbucks, Michael Kors, and Lacoste.
The Forever 21 is pretty much the only reason I visit the Beverly Center, it's one of the biggest I've been to and they have a lot of merchandise.

Place should get imploded!
It is the ugliest structure in LA, it is the most unfriendly place to park at, find your way or shop at.
The Beverly center looks like a giant radiator in the middle of the city, a white elephant which is so ugly, it is a joke!
There are way nicer malls through out the middle east than this atrocity which gives a bad service in representing one of the richest cities in the world.
Same as LAX but that's a different tragedy.
It is a depressing mall, so dark, stuffy and cold!
Pretentious fake people who are sadly the face of the city.
It's full of young dumb girls celebrity D list wanna be looking for a sugar daddy or bored gay guys who thinks being seen in this place will make them feel fabulous!
As somebody mentioned, this mall is swallowed by its parking lot, you need to see it to believe it.
The person who designed this place should be punished!
And I don't care how many brand name stores there are!
My grandma could not care less!
Food court is nasty!
Employees are unfriendly!
Design is stuck in 1993!
Movie theater is small & old.
Whoever claims it's a good mall has no standards, or basic understanding in class or have no idea about what is acceptable through out the world or has no basic knowledge to help in comparing this place to.
Overall experience: Suicidal!
Extremely Over rated and way too expansive!
If you got any respect for your money or time. Shop elsewhere.
Yalla bye!
Does ANYONE go here anymore? Let me give you a little history of this place. Back in 1979 I used to go to the Odyssey Disco that was across the street on Beverly Blvd. When I saw this place being erected (late79 to early 80) I thought it was a huge monstrosity. It looked so ominous and evil. When it was finally opened I thought it was the ugliest building I had ever seen for a mall. Here we are 30 years later and it still one of the biggest blights on the area.
This corner back in the 60's had the cutest little amusement park with a Merry Go Round, horse rides for kiddies and was such a cute little UN-Pretentious place, what a difference a few years makes. This place reeks of phoniness and pretentiousness. When they added Reproduction George Nelson Coconut chairs to the mall in the mid 90's trying to class up the place I knew they had gone over the edge. The layout of this mall was NEVER user friendly and the parking lot even worse. I will never forget in December 1987 being stuck in this lot for 45 minutes trying to get out. The early 1980's were never known for it's stunning architecture and this place is no exception.
Wouldn't it be nice if they tore down this blight and put back a cute little amusement park so future generations won't be as jaded as their parents? Now that would be progress.

Haven't had a chance to check the whole place out, but whenever I'm in LA and in a rush for an outfit for the club/party, Beverly Center pulls thru for me.....AND this last time, parking only cost about $1/hr!

Whoever said this mall was just average, needs to come down to the east bay and check out the REALLY "average" malls there.
The beverely center had a great variety of stores, which not only included the usual depeartment stores but the realy expensive brand names too. They also had some unique stores I hadn't come across before.
This mall also happens to be the only one I've ever been to that had a Pink Berry inside and it was just the NICEST Pink Berry too. They were extremely friendly there.
We had gone here to find a pet boutique for Benji to get him a gift, since we had to leave him with my mom this time. (the drive would have been too much for him in this type of heat and our old car) Anyway, we went inside a boutique called Bones, apparently Paris Hilton shops there for her dogs.
The best part about the mall was the escalators on every level that took you to the parking lots. Unlike SF malls downtown, parking here is free. I will definitely come back to get some more Pink Berry here!

Hmm.. this mall is aesthetically pleasing but actually kind of boring. :( I went here expecting something amazing and different but.. it really is just like any other mall. It has all the same stores.. the only difference is that more celebrities shop here. I don't get very starstruck.. and I'm not into people stalking. :) Soo..
BUT.. It is a great place to burn calories. It's huge. Walk around the whole thing and your legs will feel the burn. Also has cheap parking. I think it was a buck last time I went.
The Ultimate mall for people in their 20's and 30's!
The Beverly Center is located off of La Cienega and 3rd street in the heart of the fairfax district of LA and the edge of Beverly Hills.
This is a great mall for 20 and 30 somethings. Many young celebrities, especially Reality tv stars, Britney spears, and Rappers and others are frequently seen shopping here.
The mall is on top of the parking structure which may be a bit confusing since there are 6 levels of parking and the mall itself is on TOP of the parking structure. There are 2 department stores: Macys and Bloomingdales and a small Macys mens store on the bottom floor.
Most of the stores cater to trendy recent college graduates and contemporary styles: Banana Republic, Club Monaco, H&M, Guess, Armani Exchange, Max Studio, French Connection UK, BEBE, and even some high end stores like Dior, Gucci and Burberry.
This mall has a lot of energy and an upbeat vibe, but it does have some draw backs.
The parking can be a bit confusing and they charge you 2 bucks for 3 hrs of parking! It also requires a lot of walking so if you get tired and want a relaxing shopping experience, you may feel over whelmed!
Also my friends mom hates this place because she said she can never find anything for herself ( keep in mind she is in her 50's, not many 50 somethings shop at Bloomies)
Also the food court sucks, and you have to go all the way down the loong escalators to the bottom floor to eat at one of the nicer chains they have: PF CHANGS, The Grand Lux Cafe, California Pizza kitchen or Chipotle.
THE PROS:
-Upbeat and fun shopping, lots of energy at this mall
-Great stores for 20 & 30 somethings, with the latest trends & styles
-Close Proximity to Sunset Strip, Melrose, West Hollywood nightlife
-Good Chain restaurants at the bottom
-The Best Macys Mens Store in Southern California (Yes. Even nicer than the one in South coast plaza )
- They have a movie theater upstairs
- If its raining you can still go shopping, its indoor but not stuffy like south coast plaza, high ceilings illuminate this place!
THE CONS
- A lot of walking and you have to take escalators and elevators
- They charge for parking ! ( Ugh! We are still in a Recession!)
- Kind of too modern and young to take the whole family
- Not much stuff for ::AHEM AHEM::: "older than 20 and 30 somethings"
- The food court sucks
The Bottom Line: For a fun shopping experience, to see lots of hot eye candy, sexy single 20 and 30 somethings and great contemporary shopping, check out the Beverly Center! But dont be surprised if you see photographers from "US weekly" or "In Style" magazine taking pictures of Paris Hilton at Dior! Be forewarned about the parking fees and long walking your feet may have to endure!

the place is very convenient coz. it is closer to where i live but the only problem with this mall they dont have much good places to shop comparing to other malls. They have cinemas also but some of their movies are outdated they dont really have current movies out if the movie just came out last week.
This mall always confused me. Mainly because it sits on top of its parking structure. So instead of the standard method of parking on a level you are going to enter, you need to hit up the elevator no matter what. So you have this idea that you're above street level and then above you is still a giant mall.
The weight of it all just makes my head hurt. But then again, the place itself makes my wallet scream in pain. But you know what, I like it anyway.
Perhaps it's because it's such a confusing mall to get into/park for, but it's a bit easier, I've found, to come here and do your shopping. It's like everyone is scared off by the fact that this is a tower of babel.
Considering the location of this mall, you would expect a bit more snobbery or poshness. Not so. It's really down to earth considering where it's located at.
Again, I can't stress enough how strange to have a mall on this tower. I mean, it does make sense to come here if there's ever a zombie infestation. You're above it all! Or at the very least when the flood comes.
Pretty good for Holiday/gift shopping. If I have to go to the mall, this one is pretty good in my book.

The Beverly Center is what I envision the Los Cerritos Center mall could potentially be, if parking became an issue. It has a good mix of middle- and higher-end stores and eateries. Only thing is that when I came here last week, it was deathly quiet. I don't like that in my malls.
Thankfully, my hometown mall has a larger acreage than the Beverly Center, but it lacks the modern touch that the Beverly Center has. So with that thinking: Beverly Center is greater than Los Cerritos Center.
The reason why I'm giving the Beverly Center one less star from perfect is because the parking situation is a huge discouraging factor, and can cheapen the experience versus a suburban mall. But then again, it's Los Angeles, where isn't there a difficult parking situation?
Another reason is the ridiculous setup whereby the first five floors are dedicated to parking. It's actually not only difficult to navigate, it's also overkill. This was the same parking lot where that one rapper killed a guy, or was it the other way around? In any case, having too much parking and not enough security is also a large liability for this place.
Inside, they have nice stores. I think the only reason why this place managed to obtain an excellent portfolio of stores is because of it's name: Beverly Center--as well as it's proximity to Beverly Hills/Fairfax and Santa Monica/Westwood. The ironic thing is that the high-end shoppers were nowhere to be found! They're the ones cutting back on shopping the most during this recession! It's actually depressing to come here when there's no one to see you shopping at Louis Vuitton.
To encourage that proper mix of social effervescence, there needs to be a good number of shoppers. But not just any shopper: non-ghetto shoppers. Thankfully, the parking fees ward those types away...which is pretty reasonable, I think. So why aren't there more people?
I mentioned the recession and the sticky parking situation earlier, but what the mall missed out on was a Nordstrom (or similar caliber anchor). It's high end enough to add class to a place, but it doesn't have a reputation of being douchey, which Bloomingdale's has unfortunately acquired. "But the Beverly Center has a Bloomingdale's, isn't that high-end enough for you, Don?" Yeah, but the service and clientele aren't the same. They also don't have a cafe or an espresso bar. Nor is the quality of the air conditioning even comparable. If you'll step inside a Nordstrom, you'll notice that the air conditioning is constantly blasting there. I like my retail centers cold. The Grove nearby managed to snag one, so you don't have to drive too far to get your fix.
The Center did manage to get a bunch of high end retailers that you'd find in an uber mall like South Coast Plaza. But, the Beverly Center also has a good mix of "better bridge" retailers and mid-scale shops and restaurants to bring in the monied middle-class. I feel the two malls should have switched locations. South Coast needs to be in Los Angeles (the ritzy stores and boutiques to match the big ritzy world city) and this mix at the Beverly Center should have been in central Orange County (where South Coast is now, which is generally a family community and not necessarily the best place to be ritzy). Taking this into consideration: South Coast is greater than Beverly Center (counter-intuitive, really).
And also kind of counter-intuitive: this mall is the best enclosed mall in Los Angeles city. But in the larger scheme of things, it's a slightly above-average mall when compared to the Southland as a whole, mainly because of those high-end retailers that only certain uber malls in Orange County can boast of (Newport and Costa Mesa).

I consider the Beverly Center a pretty good mall because it has Bloomingdale's, Macy's, and a good variety of both familiar and upscale stores similar to Century City. I only wish they had a J.Crew at this mall. Whenever I go, the mall is never really that crowded for some reason. On the street level, they have such restaurants as Grand Lux Cafe, CPK, Chipotle, and Todai.
I would say the main drawback to the Beverly Center is that they charge $1 per hour for parking for the first four hours and then $2 per hour after that.
There are some good things about the Beverly Center, but it is not really good enough to deal with the traffic and congestion. Beverly Center is on a very busy part of La Cienega so getting there can be difficult. While getting "into" Beverly Center can take longer than you would like, finding a parking space is not that difficult (parking isn't free though).
They have some nice stores and a good variety (Macy's, Bloomingdale's, Banana Republic, Apple, Burberry, Coach, Diesel, Godiva, Hugo Boss, Lacoste, etc.). The pet store is no longer there (hard to imagine people buying a pet from there, you would be much better off with a private breeder). The food court is lame, and the movie theater is even lamer.
During the holidays, the bar next to the escalators gets pretty lively, and the elves showcased are definitely geared towards adults and not children. While I usually don't make a special trip here unless I have to, Beverly Center can be a good option if you are nearby.
This happens to be my favorite mall in LA. It is kind of a pain to get to. Parking sort of sucks. But, they have a ton of stores here, one of the BEST Macy's stores in LA, and a huge selection of stores ranging from inexpensive favorites like Forever 21 to higher end stores like Burberry and Coach. Add to it an Apple store, Bloomingdales, several shoe stores, a Sephora, a MAC store and an ample amount of snack shops, and you have my favorite place to shop when I need to get everything done. Oh, and there is a Bed Bath and Beyond as well, which takes one more stop off of my to-do list for the weekend. So, if you find yourself needing to get a lot of things done and you want to do it all in one place, head over to The Beverly Center.

I have to agree with one earlier poster that said more parking garages than shopping space, and with someone else who said this is a very different mall than any other. Yes, there are the high end stores, and snobby boutiques when you start to feel that pretty women moment when Julia's character walks into that shop on Rodeo drive. But, these mall biotchees don't scare me because they're not getting my hard earned bucks anyway. There's a great selection from HM, Forever 21 and that's about it for me. This year it was lacking the GQ male models from the Sunset area. I was kinda of disappointed that I didn't get whiplash this time. Still if you have major dough to throw at LV, Dior, Gucci et. al, this is the place to be.
You have been warned. The parking is outrageous. Save up your money before you go.
This is definitely one of the most unique malls I've ever been to, but that's not necessarily a good thing. Many malls are designed alike because the design works (parking, pedestrian flow, and overall layout). The Beverly Center is different and I guess that's cool.
What's not cool is that you have to pay to park. I found that very offensive. I realize that there are high end designers selling their goods here, but that doesn't mean that you need to demand that your customers reimburse you for the "privilege" of parking and shopping there. What's next? A cover charge?
Anyway, other than the parking and annoying elevators that seem endless, it was an interesting visit. I ended up buying the most stuff at the Macy's Men's Store on the ground floor (with easy access to the parking deck).

Pretentious high-end shopping center with more levels of parking then levels of mall.
If you want to get your fix of Gucci, Dior, and Louis Vuitton then this is the place.
That said, they do have some more "normal" stores for the average shopper (though perhaps Gucci is just average for the Beverly Hills set?) like Forever XXI, Banana Republic, and H&M. I do love this Forever XXI out of any of the other ones I've been to. Lots of selection and it's actually organized. It's pretty much the only reason I ever come here (that and its closeness to work. Lunch shopping...good times)
The things that suck? Yeah you pay for parking and just like at The Grove people are complete and total idiots when it comes to figuring out the parking tickets. AGAIN MORON, you pay BEFORE at one of the million little parking payment stations next to the elevators, so that when it comes to time to leave, you don't cause a massive traffic jam. Again, like The Grove, this place is full of a lot of wealth and a lot of stupid.

At least I look pimp in my new Hugo Boss dress shoes.

"If you ain't got no money, take your broke ass home."
No kidding, this place is expensive. Window shopping will only make you sadder. All these nice things that you can't buy. Sigh, sad face.
Parking is about $2 and they tell you how many spots are left on each floor. I like places that these. You also pay before you leave the lot.
There's eight floors here, or that's what the map said, and I believe it! They have everything from Forever 21 to Gucci. From H&M to Dior. Can't get more variety than that.
Fun when you have money, horrible if you don't.

The Beverly Center is one of those L.A. landmarks like the Zoo and Hollywood & Vine that simply must be visited... if you're from Texas and think that fake baking is still cool. TBC or TheBevCent, as us locals call it, is simply a place to go when you don't have an idea of where to kill two hours with an old sorority friend or parent that just won't leave. The only plus this place had was a pet store that reeked of urine and malnourishment, but it let you walk the dogs around the mall. Sadly it and the Tommy's on the 3 1/2 floor have gone the way of the famed Brown Derby, straight into the history books and warm fuzzy memories of yesteryear for gals like myself. As a woman, I find the lack of non-Forever 21 and other Whore Stores displeasing, but luckily I can be silenced by a Bailey's Haagen Dazs Slusher and the promise of a trip across the street to Loehmann's.
Also, the parking sucks, but it's L.A. and sucky parking is an institution like an underwhelming dinner at Musso & Frank's, where Sinatra used to hang out.
this mall is rather boring.
in my head, i compared this mall to south coast plaza just because of the kinds of stores they have here.
the stores that this mall has to offer isn't that bad, they offer a lot of great stores in varying price ranges. you have heritage, macy's, or dolce and gabbana.
while some people rate a mall purely by the shops it offers, i also take into consideration the design and operations of the mall. the main reasons why this mall only receives two stars from me are because of parking and the bleak design.
getting into this mall is hell. but then again, this is the orange county boy who's not used to la traffic, not to mention the idea of ever having to pay for parking to go to a mall. i do give points for the automated parking system, although in my head i wonder how this works out during the holidays because i can imagine it would take more than 15 minutes to get out of the parking structure.
my other complaint against this mall is because of how boring it looks. i do give props for the design idea of having the wave lounge right in the center, but it can't do all the work. the seating areas are really neat; they're cute and very modern. i think what could help this place would probably be to add more plants or something, maybe a fountain or something.
this mall has a lot of potential, particularly because of its location.
but then again, i honestly haven't been to a mall in los angeles that was really ever that great (well, there's 3rd street :D) someone recommend me a nice shopping destination next time i'm here.
It's alright, nothing I can't find here in OC. Also, the elevators are confusing and it took me awhile to figure out how to get the street level for the Macy's Men's store. Plus, I have to pay to park when I shop!? I guess I'm in LA.....

Even taking my navigational defectiveness into account, this mall is impossibly designed. It's like it was swallowed by its parking lot. One of the last times I was here (with two wicked smart UCLA grads), we wasted a good half hour traversing the bowels of the Beverly Center because we were trying to avoid the slow elevator. The irony is killing me.
I remember finding the parking rates atrocious, but now I think they're somewhat decent. I guess this goes to show how horrible parking is in San Francisco, where I continue to live a car-free existence.
I normally love Bloomingdale's, but the Bloomingdale's here consistently lacked both clothing I liked and good customer service. Instead, I haunted their H&M (where I bought many work clothes), Forever 21 (where I bought one-night's-wear hoochie clothes), Sephora (where I slathered crap all over my face) and Pet Love (which closed recently due to protests to inhumane treatment of animals!!!).
The food court sucks. I will admit that I played Mongolian BBQ's game more than once (how much meat and vegetables can you stuff in your bowl?!) and also giggled over Pastagina (come on, like you're really gonna pronounce that "Pastageena") but have eaten surprisingly little, considering how hungry shopping makes me.
I hated you, Beverly Center, but still went to you time and again. You are like the loser boyfriend one goes back to out of boredom. NEVER AGAIN.

They have some good stores but it's a depressing looking mall.
The crowd is pretty mixed and the staff in most of the stores seem depressed since there are windows in the whole mall. They need to put in more skylights so it doesn't feel like prison. Also parking sucks and they just jacked up the price... what the heck?!

This place is overrated. Seriously overrated. Downright a disappointment in my opinion. The first five floors of the building is a parking garage and the mall sits on top of the parking. There's three stories to the mall, the first is the largest, the second floor is about 2/3rds the size of the first floor, and the third floor is a third of the first floor. Quite interesting.
There is a plethora of stores. A lot of them were specialty but I was expecting more luxury shopping. They had seating areas through out the mall, with chic furniture, but it didn't look comfortable to sit on. It actually looked a little cliche. We were in the snacking mood so thought we'd hit the food court. To our surprise their food court consisted of about 6 choices and non of them looked appealing.
I was expecting more of this mall. There are so many better malls out there.

People should stop bitching about how this place has a bad layout or how its evil, and whatever everyone else says. It's like the next best thing to the mecca (aka south coast plaza) and at least I don't have to watch spoiled OC housewife beezies complain to the valet that its taking too long to get their Bentleys and as a result will get carpal tunnels from carrying too many Louis Vuitton bags. Ok, maybe this place has those kind of people too but at least the LA kind are nice to look at rather than 60 year old facelifted cougars of Newport Beach. So maybe the only downer to this place is that I feel like I need to dress up as if I am going to Hyde Lounge every time I come to shop here because everyone is overly trendy. But I guess everything on this side of town is pretentious. The stores are the kind you would find pretty much anywhere else (more or less) but conglomeration of hipsters, aspiring reality TV celebs, porn stars, weho queens, sugar, spice, and everything nice, is what gives this place its charm. Oh and my all time favorite thing in the mall is the super posh lady in the parking lot that says in her british accent "welcome to tha beverrrlyy cent-ahh...please remembah to pay foh yoh pahking ticket...there are no casshiers at the exit" I feel posh just listening to her voice....but not when I have to pay 5 bucks for parking although thats not too bad for LA I guess.
Your basic mall. It has all the usual stores and a bit more like Just Cavalli, Gucci and Louis Vuitton. My friend wanted to see a Victoria's Secret (they don't have those in Asia) so she walked in and walked right back out, unimpressed.
Unfortunately we missed Hunky Santa! http://www.beverlycent...

Just a tad bit overrated. Also, annoying parking structure. When you look at this place from the outside, you look at how grand it is. When you go inside, there's only three floors; top floor consisting mostly of a movie theatre, food court, various sport shoe stores, and a big H&M.
I have to say that they remodeled the escalators on the side of the building to make it look nicer and modern but I'm not there for that. I'm looking for stores that interest me and carry products that don't look like it was from a Kanye West music video (sorry, you may like it but it's not my cup of tea).
I must say, you get all sorts of people in this place though since it's close to Beverly Hills and all.
Probably one of the worst malls I've ever been to. It's really poorly designed, it's really easy to forget where you parked. There aren't any stands that sell like sunglasses or anything like that. The food court doesn't have that big of a selection, the traffic around this mall is horrible.

Worth the visit just to see this huge monolithic structure built to honor the apparently dying gods of conspicuous consumption. When I went a couple of weekends ago I felt bad as it seemed like a ghost mall. I guess it has been sunk by the opening of the Grove and current economic conditions. I really wonder, was it meant as a personal affront on the Beverly Center when the developers of the Grove decided to build it just a couple of miles away? I mean, how many Banana Republics do you need in a one mile radius? And that parking? What's up with that? As if $1000 for your Louis Vuitton purse isn't enough, they've gotta get another couple of bucks off you before you leave. Then panic, as your worry it's going to get even more expensive as you can't find your car lost in the confusing multilevel structure.
People thought this was:

It is dark, it is pricey, and the structure is just damned weird - stores starting on the 6th floor? I definitely dig the Macy's Mens store and Bloomingdales, but some of the other stores are simply overpriced for the sake of being overpriced. Selling me a $600 pair of jeans with "Bro, you gotta be up on this" just isn't going to work........perhaps I'm not "up on this" but I like to think I've maintained some common sense.
Sure its nice, but I'd rather wander Rodeo or go to South Coast Plaza - they're both prettier and just as high end.
When staying at the Sofitel LA, a French inspired hotel on Beverly Blvd, the "Beverly Center" is Mecca in a sea of strip malls.
Huge, a bit confusing on how to maneuver the mass of escalators, I found shopping solace in this mall.
I enjoyed shopping in Macy's. I bought some basic Jones New York separates in black.
I like the boutique stores, although I would never buy the expensive wears. There are other Anytown USA Retail stores as tenants here also.
I was busy during the day so I was not able to go to the rooftop of this 8 story shopping mall and see the views of Los Angeles. Next time.
I was geographically restricted, I wanted to use the car for far off trips to the Getty Museum and Nihonmachi.

High end stores, with appropriate layout for competition (i.e.: H&M directly across a Forever XXI); spacious Victoria's Secret, though not much in stock.
I saw at least three, maybe four, women carrying or walking chihuahuas here. The dogs were wearing pink clothing. Need I proceed?
The place has multiple levels, with an unexpected bar in the center of one of the lower levels (not romantic in the least). There is also a Ferrari store. Haha, what the-? How pretentious can one get to buy merch from a place one probably can't even afford?
I don't mean to hate, but this place is so dimly lit and gloomy. Also, I hate having to pay for parking...even if it's just 2$ for ~1.5 hours. I probably wont go back, unless I absolutely must. There are just so many better alternative malls out there...peace.
I did hear Sasha Vujacic was there earlier this week, however. Ooooh, Lakers.
Hollywood Sign...
Movie Stars...
Shopping in beverly hills........
Miley Cyrus, Hilary Duff, Haylie Duff, Ashlee Simpson=)
..........Is all the reason why i visit Los Angeles, but this place god-i love it they're coffee selections are the best y'all
Reasons I come to the Beverly Center.
1. Indoors with A/C. - this is where I hid this weekend.
2. Great selection of high end stores (Gucci, LV) along with cheap finds.. i.e. Forever 21, H&M
3. The pet store so I can ogle all the cute lil puppy wuppies I can never have
Reasons I don't like this place
1. Parking sucks and the fees are ridiculous
2. KFC Express in the food court has the worst service ever. Ever heard of smiling, greeting, thanking your customers? OH right.. asian owned.. blah.
3. Gangsters and hoochie mamas all over the place, esp when school is out
I guess it's 3 for 3.

Is it just me or is there something really weird about Beverly Center? I've been here a grand total of twice and find it just kind of a strange place with an even stranger mix of customers. Riding up the escalators to the mall - which starts on the sixth floor of this massive structure - everyone seems to be checking everyone else out - as though people are on the look out for some minor league celebrity on shopping spree. There's just something juvenile, weird and kind yuck about this place.

Best mall in the Hollywood area. I don't think it's a Westfield. They have all the essentials and more. The fact that it's a mall in LA makes it cheesy. It's accessible to the public, but it's overwhelming. It's not your local mall.
It is your typical mall, but then in Beverly Hills. The only thing I come for is Grand Lux Cafe or P. F. Chang's, or in this case to take my tourist family members. So they can tell at home they've been in Beverly Hills.
For the mall experience, I go elsewhere, where it is easier to park and 'your dime is worth a quarter' (don't know if the last makes any sense).

this has to be one of my favorite shopping centers. The only negative thing i have to say about this mall is the parking! it sucks that you have to pay...other than that i love this place! When people think of Beverly Hills alot of them probably think pricey and expensive. But this mall has everything for everyone. For people with not much to work with they have stores like forever21, H&M and Wet Seal. For people with high income they have Louis Vuitton, Gucci and more. I love to come here and look at all the designers but dont feel that bad leaving because i usually end up buying something in my price range.
