This is hands down the best place to eat in Frankfort. The quality of the food is excellent. The menu runs the gamut from sandwiches & burgers to fish and steaks. The fish fry on Friday is the best in town, and I think it may also be the cheapest. The prime rib on Saturday is superb. Sunday brunch is an enormous spread.
I've eaten there a lot, and I keep going back. The atmosphere is clean, casual, nautical, and NO SMOKING. The service is cheerful, friendly and warm. The owner is a really nice Scottish lady who makes you feel totally welcome.
Good lunch place right near the Frankfort beach on Lake Michigan. Good portions of standard sandwiches made with great ingredients and bread. The turkey and swiss with cole slaw on pumpernickel, while quite simple, really couldn't have been any better. OK atmosphere with a crowd that skews toward the retired set. Full service bar. I can't comment on the place as a lodging choice, although I will say that it doesn't quite live up to its photos on their web site.
