Review from Paul V.
One of, if not the, best Best Western I've ever stayed at while on vacation. Located in a great spot on the main street of Springdale, this is my go-to hotel while visiting Zion National Park. My favorite time of year to visit is in the Fall and Winter when the crowds are smaller and there is snow on the ground. This place has a cabin feel and is extremely cozy. On the last day of my most recent vacation to Zion the weather was extremely cold and snowy. After spending the morning in the park, my girlfriend and I enjoyed a bottle of wine and played a couple games of Scrabble in the hotel's lobby while enjoying the views of the blizzard outside from the massive windows. Sounds pretty perfect right? It was.
The rooms are nice and always clean. I've stayed here four times and will continue to come back. Springdale is one of my all time favorite small towns in America. I think you'll love it here too. -
Review from Nic Z.
I've stayed here twice now, and my family has stayed three times. It has become our go-to hotel near Zion.
My first stay was incredibly memorable as we pulled up in the pitch-black darkness of 11pm, and I woke up at 4am to draw the curtains and see mountains shooting straight up behind my window -- WOW!
Pricing is very reasonable for the area. The rooms are nothing to write home about -- this isn't a Manhattan Four Seasons -- however, are you really visiting Zion for a mani-pedi and whirlpool tub?
The adjacent restaurant is lovely, and it's a very quick jaunt to the actual park -- only about one or two minutes by car. I wouldn't stay anywhere else. -

Rating: 3.5 stars
This is an older Best Western hotel, but the room was decent. We were located on the second floor towards the back of the hotel lot. Our room had a mini fridge, cable tv, and hair dryer. The mini fridge was really loud, so I would recommend ear plugs if you are sensitive to noise. Free wifi, but it is extremely slow. It's worse than dial-up connection. Beds were comfy. Unfortunately, no free breakfast.
We paid $136 (excluding taxes) for two nights. Overall, this was a great location since it is about a mile away from the Zion entrance.
Note - I would take a picture of your hotel room. We received a letter after we checked out about missing pillows. These pillows weren't in our room to begin with. I wouldn't want you to get charged for missing items. This incident made me knock down a star. -

Great alternative to staying at the lodge. Front clerk was very helpful. Room had basic amenities, but it was clean and spacious. Great view of the scenery to the rear.

Stayed at the Best Western in Springdale, UT while visiting Zion National Park. It is located right outside of the park - roughly 5-10 minute drive to the entrance.
Located alongside are a couple restaurants, which I did not try out but seemed very decent.
The staff was very professional, friendly and helpful.
I think the amenities that stand out most to me were: having a pool & hot tub + 1 minute walk to the shuttle that takes you into the park. I like that the lobby of the hotel has charm and character.
Didn't get a room with a view, but didn't spend too much time in the room anyway. No breakfast provided, but that's okay for the price and expected from Best Western. The room itself was clean and pretty big.
All in all, I'd recommend this hotel to anyone passing by. Plus lots of other restaurants within walking distance. -

Great place to stay and very budget friendly. As others have said, nothing too fancy, but the view is awesome and the hot tub is fantastic for the chilly nights.

3.5 stars.
I think was expecting slightly more, as the pictures online don't really represent the hotel accurately. With that said, it's a Best Western and, if you go in expecting that, you'll be happy.
Friendly service (perhaps too friendly? Check-in took a long time because of the chatty front desk attendants.) The room was clean and well-kept. The lobby has character. Best amenity of the hotel: the pool and hot tub! Nothing like watching the sun go down over the rocks while lounging in a hot tub.
If I could make a few suggestions, they would be: 1) outlets. There were literally NO spare outlets in the room. I had to choose between turning on the lamp and charging my cell phone. 2) Coffee. The in-room coffee tasted like swamp water. Normally, I wouldn't even bother mentioning the in-room coffee because it always sucks, no matter if you're at the Motel 6 or the Four Seasons. But, there is literally nowhere else to get coffee in the entire town of Springdale until 6:30 am. (I know. I asked.) If you're wanting to get an early start in Zion, this can be a very inconvenient thing.
The view from our room was disappointing, but for the price, I was happy with the hotel. -

Great location with clean rooms. Views were amazing from our basic room. Very close to the free town to park shuttle.

The room was nice and very clean, nothing special. We did have a microwave and frig. The best part was the view from our room window. Absolutely amazing - so beautiful. The hotel staff was very nice too!
Also, the free shuttle into the park stops in front of the hotel. We will stay here again on our next trip! -

Great hotel--staff was very nice, location was great. Springdale is set up that you do not need a car-just park it at the hotel and the shuttle rides up and down the street making frequent stops FREE. what a very innovative idea. We could not get a room with a view, ended up on the first floor near the parking lot, but right next to the laundry--which was a plus. The view didnt matter because we weren't there enough. The pool is great , spent most of our free time there.Would definitely go back .

Review from Bill G.
This Best Western provides clean, comfortable rooms in a well maintained property. The motel is organized as 4 smaller, connecting buildings surrounded by green space with grass and trees. Our room on the second floor of the main building was conveniently located and had a vaulted ceiling with high windows that provided a great view of the cliff walls across the canyon.
On previous visits to Zion NP I've stayed at another lodge in town, but on this trip that property was charging nearly twice as much as the Best Western. At around 100/night midweek this BW was not cheap but it was a good deal compared to other places in town. -

After hiking up from the bottom of the Grand Canyon, I knew I needed a decent place to sleep that night. We were headed to Zion the next day, and decided to stay nearby. Thanks to Trip Advisor and Yelp, I knew we were in good hands at the Best Western.
It wasn't just a good place to sleep - the front desk people were accommodating and friendly, and the hotel has incredible views of the mountains. When I made reservations, Jenn (front desk) asked me when I was arriving, and advised me to take another route since highway 9 is closed on one end for construction after 8 pm. I know this is common courtesy, but you'd be surprised what isn't so common when it comes to helping tourists.
The room was really clean, with blasting AC. Only about 25 channels on the tv, so I couldn't watch any trashy Bravo, but I survived. Decent water pressure in the shower, plus a pool! All in all, a great place to catch up on sleep and rest my wobbly legs. -

Can't believe this is a best western. It has a great hot tub with a view of Zion. The restaurant is actually good. The rooms have incredibly high ceilings and are nice. The only thing negative I can say is that the free wireless is terrible unless you are in the lobby.

The place is an oasis in the utah desert. The rooms are well equipped. Clean. WI-Fi is standard and is fast!
Several restaurants and shops surround the hotel.Easy access to the shuttle to the Zion park also.
The best part is that you won't have to break an arm and a leg to have a comfortable place to stay while you're in UTAH. Stay at the BEST WESTERN! -

For a best western I was very impressed. The staff were very helpful and courteous. Would definetly stay here again!!! There is a shuttle stop to the park right out front and you can walk to town.

All things considered, this may be one of the best Best Westerns in the country. Not because it is particularly luxurious: it is no more so than an average Best Western, but because it has been built to give you stunning views of the canyon from assorted lobbies, balconies, and other shared spaces, and especially from the (small) pool. Don't plan on doing laps in the pool-- it is too small, and too crowded-- but it's fantastic for a cool dip among red rocks.
If we hadn't been meeting friends at a campsite the next night we would happily have extended our stay for a second night. -

We had a great experience here, though too short. The room was clean, modern and comfortable, with a view of the canyon wall. The price was reasonable, the staff were helpful and it was convenient having two restaurants (a decent sports bar and a good but pricey steakhouse) right on site, especially for late arrivals. Super easy to get to the park.

Despite the reviews, this hotel was horrible! The whole reason I stayed here was because it was close to Zion and it got good reviews. There were bugs under the mattress. Also, the wi-fi was shaky.

I loved this hotel...I know it is a best western and not the Ritz, but in Zions National Park it is a perfect hotel to get a great nights sleep. The hotel is newer than most in Springdale, and has amazing views. Our room was spacious, clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The staff was really pleasant and the room was just $105 a night!! They have a pool and spa and the hotel rooms also have a mini fridge that came in really handy. I would highly recommend staying here.

Yea, it's a Best Western, but it's a great place to stay! Service was welcoming and friendly, rooms were spacious and clean, and the location was situated against a beautiful mountain backdrop. Simple, quaint, and comfortable, it was a great place for our visit to Zion. I would definitely stay there again!

Yep, I'll give this place 5 stars...a great Best Western just outside of Zion NP in the town of Springdale. The price is right and the scenery is beautiful. We've stayed here twice in the past 3 years and we will definitely stay here again next time we return to Zion. The only thing that would make it better would be a free breakfast! :-)
There is a shuttle stop very close by, and the two restaurants are pretty good. The lobby area has a great big meeting room with lots of comfy chairs inside, and there are multple decks outside with more comfy chairs and great views of the canyon. You even get a great view from the swimming pool. My hubby went exploring on our last night there and noticed there is a 1/2 court basketball area and a sand volleyball pit...there's also a small putting green. The rooms have a small refrigerator in them. The WiFI connection didn't quite make it to our room, however it worked just fine from the lobby area.
All in all, a great place to stay! -

Ahhhhh. A place to cleanup after a long drive or hike. A clean room, a clean bed, and A/C. Good food is nearby. The wi-fi actually works. I will stay here again.

Very nice motel. Very convenient to Zion National Park. Comfortably beds. Nice, but not excellent room. The server was down in our building so in order to get on line we had to go down to the lobby. The night staff was both curt and not particularly helpful. While I would stay there again, I can't give the facility better than three stars. The price was fair, but no bargain. We had no offer of a complimentary breakfast. Although the staff was meeting basic necessities no one was going out of their way to make things easy, i.e. checkout required going to the lobby and turning in the unusual keys they have used with their locks. Loss of the keys results in a rather expensive charge. In other words the staff did it's job - nothing more. Hardly fine service.
