ahh, this place is my oasis. stayed here on the way back from portland to sf. was going to stay at a truck stoppy place up the road and i'm soooo glad i came here on a whim instead. this inn has it all. it's really big, has suite-like rooms (complete with awesomely kitchy electric fireplaces!), big bathrooms... a pretty good gym (my only complaint being that the walls of the gyms are reflective glass, so it's hard to see if someone is watching you from outside at night = creepy!). the pool looked fine but i didn't use it.
i really, really loved this place. sure, a fancy hotel or b & b downtown would probably be far lovelier, but for my purposes (rest and isolation) this was beyond perfect. plus, i got some special girl-traveling-alone discount and it was under $60 total (can't remember exactly how much. $53? no reservation).
i'm planning another road trip to pdx just so i can stay here on the way up and back. ;)
We arrived here without reservations at 2am, dead tired, after deciding that Portland and Eugene were too far away a stop on my move up to Seattle. And while nothing fancy, for about $65 after tax with AAA, we got two clean and comfy queen beds to sleep in, a clean and quiet room, free wireless, and even a complimentary breakfast (mostly fruits and pastries). Not bad at all.

A little bit more expensive then I anticipated. The beds were comfortable, kind of soft, but clean. I would wear sandals or socks when walking on the floor.
The beds where clean that's all that really matters. But I wasn't really trusting of anything else in the room. They have wireless internet, and cable, all good things. But the walls were paper thin.
I probably won't stay there again. But it was a good place to rest my bones.
Enjoy!

From my notes on September 28, 2004
Our big requirement today was Interent access, but we're quite impressed with our room. The grounds around this hotel are amazing, they have flowers and roses everywhere. The exterior is well maintained as well, the paint looks fresh and nicely coordinated.
The bed was also slightly softer than standard, and they had an electric fireplace. There was an expanded complimentary breakfast.

This isn't the Peerless, it's not a B&B, it's not the Ashland Springs Hotel. But for the low $100s for a night, with a pool, a washing machine, beautiful gardens, etc. in Ashland, this is a steal. I'd happily come again - better than your average BW. Wifi, super-clean rooms, fitness facility, breakfast (light) downstairs, and a shuttle to downtown Ashland, I'm a fan.

We stayed here on a Pacific Northwest road trip and a short trip to the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. After looking for a B&B, we opted for the much cheaper Windsor Inn, mostly because of the jacuzzi tub in the room. That made it worth the mere $100 vs. $200 we would have paid elsewhere. And, to top it off, it was only a couple miles from the Festival.
We stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights while playing in Ashland. It is clean and adequate, though nothing special. It seems over-priced, but I think it is typical pricing for Ashland during the high season. I would stay again, though there was nothing about the place that was memorable. It is probably one of the better moderate range options in the area.
Clean, efficient, friendly. But get a room away from the pool unless you like the sound of rug-rats playing Marco Polo.
Nice place, well maintained, beautiful grounds. Breakfast kinda blah.
