It was our first time to Fort Bragg and we chose the Best Western based on it's price and recommendations on other web sites. Our room was on the second floor and was large, clean, and tastefully decorated. In addition to the wonderful view of the beach, the room included a small sofa, coffee maker, and a small refrigerator to keep snacks and drinks cold. There is free wifi but I could only get a decent signal if I sat by the window
A continental breakfast is included but we chose to save our appetite for breakfast at Eggheads (YUMMY)
Also, be aware that many restaurants in Ft. Bragg are closed on Mondays and those which are open tend to close at 8pm
Stayed here a few times and have been pleased. Very friendly staff. Located at the north end of town on a bluff east of the highway. Rooms have balconies and views of the ocean and Pudding Creek. A good value. This time our room was furthest from the office, so no wifi and a bit neglected (mildew smell).
I feel a little funny giving a Best Western 4 stars, but our one visit for two nights was very pleasant. Our room was an average, clean king-bed room on the 2nd floor. The view of the ocean and beach was awesome, with a nice table and chairs set up right in front of the window. One thing I LOVE and which ALL hotels everywhere need to have is a curved shower curtain rod (so the curtain never touches you). The complimentary breakfast was good: muffins, bananas, bagels, toast, boiled eggs, and a decently strong coffee (rare at Best Western). The morning attendant was on top of it, keeping everything stocked, and she also was very nice regarding our complaint about noise from a nearby room where something was being fixed. They planned this work around our schedule! Yes, walls are a bit thin, but I think all hotels/motels of this class are the same.
I've stayed here about 4 times now and it's been very consistent both times. I only had a reservation twice and all in all, check in was easy as can be. Always get a second floor room with a decent view of the ocean. Nice sliding glass doors face the ocean as well. Always clean rooms and they even have an indoor heated pool. The only draw back is that the walls are kinda thin and one time there was a family with loud kids next to us which was annoying but then again I am positive that some other people have been pissed about hearing some of the noises coming from our room so it evens itself out. God, writing this makes me want to make that drive and stay for a week. I love Ft. Bragg with a passion. The little coffee dive in the heart of downtown. The beaches. The shops. The food. I am strongly thinking about packing some things and heading out........

The Best Western offers standard motel rooms at a reasonable price on the outskirts of downtown Fort Bragg. It's just across the street from the beach. We were "upgraded" to 2nd floor room with a ocean view which was nice. The clean room came with two surprisingly comfortable beds and a mini-fridge. I'd definitely consider staying here again if I'm in the area.
