Here's the thing, as Best Westerns go it's a perfectly nice hotel with reasonable rates. The rooms aren't anything to write home about at ALL, but what do you expect for $89 in the middle of absolutely NOWHERESVILLE?!

The problem is that it took us over 2 hours to get there from my apartment in DC (my friends were scared of the mice and lack of AC, so they insisted on getting a hotel) no thanks to the idiot at the front desk telling us to turn back around and go in the opposite direction when were half a mile away. Anyone who says VA is close and convenient to DC is kidding themselves.

The other problem was of course the other guests at the hotel. We were expecting someone to be going down the river strumming a banjo what with the man asking for "a couple of 4 packs of RAINCH DRASSIN and a couple of 2 packs of FRANCH DRASSIN" and the woman with bad frizzy furball hair insisting there was no hair dryer in her room though all rooms have hair dryers on the wall. Yea, my friend Luisa and I looked at each other like what the hell did we get ourselves into?

Aside from the directionally challenged front desk guy, the rest of the staff here was very nice and accommodating. One of them even asked what color of toothbrush I preferred - very cool.

One major downpoint was that their soda machine only took dollar bills.
