I was a bit apprehensive about staying in a Best Western, but weekend rates in Calistoga simply don't cooperate with my bank account!

This is probably the most expensive Best Western in the universe, but it really exceeded my expectations.  Our room was spacious and clean, the pool was nice and refreshing, and there is a handy corkscrew in the room!

Very nice room at very reasonable and affordable rates for Calistoga.

The hotel was perfect and quiet.  The bed very comfortable.  Our room had a fireplace and a small kitchenette.    We had a very good night sleep there and will definitely come back.

This hotel definitely exceeded our expectations and delivered on the value I had hoped. We stayed in a King room with fireplace. The furnishings seemed updated including some touches that you do not often find at a typical Best Western - soft pillows, down blanket, wine glasses, mini-bar including fridge and microwave, nice toiletries, and a good quality 32" flat screen (though no bathrobes, which would have been a nice touch too!).

The hotel itself is located just a short distance away from the main area shops and restaurants. We decided to drive into dinner at Jole (highly recommend this restaurant) but walked to breakfast in the morning. Even though it was drizzling a bit, it was a refreshing walk (recommend the Roastery for a light breakfast to augment the continental one you get at the hotel).

We loved Calistoga and the Stevenson Manor definitely contributed to a positive experience.

Agreed -- this place is actually quite nice!  It's a few blocks further out of town than other places, but it's still walking distance to Indian Springs (when it's not 99 degrees out -- I ended up driving, yeah, am wuss).

The only problem I had was the a/c unit in my room was insanely loud and I couldn't sleep with it on, but when I turned it off everything heated up, and when I opened the door to get some air I got woken up by a variety of winery (?) trucks backing up at 4 AM.  So it goes.

There's also free wireless.  Definitely a requirement for me.

I am definitely glad I decided to stay here for $135 a night (AAA rate) instead of Indian Springs for over $200.  I spent the difference on a treatment at Indian Springs.  Yay!

Also, the owners have a cute cat who meows at you from her window when you walk past her to your room.  Aw.

I agree with most of the other reviewers here; this is the best deal in Calistoga.  It's just a few minutes away from the main part of Lincoln Avenue so you're close to all of the restaurants/bars/action of the town, it's really close to the Silverado Trail, and it's VERY reasonably priced!

Our room was on the second floor and had a fireplace, cable TV, microwave, coffee maker (with a bean grinder), and refrigerator.  The grounds also has a heated pool, hot tub, and sauna.  Continental breakfast is from 7am-10am and there is free wireless!  We paid only $125/night, but we were there during the slow season.  Still, it was a much better deal than the $300/night bed/breakfasts just a couple blocks down the road.

They're currently doing renovations on the rooms, and from what we heard, they should be done by early Spring.

If you don't mind missing out on the quaint, B&B, gourmet meals, let's-become-best-friends-with-the-owners, kind of lodging, this Best Western is a great alternative.

This has got to be the best Best Western I've stayed at! We actually arrived alte but the front desk person(Bill) was very courteous and got us a very nice room overlooking the pool. Very quiet.
The room itself was nice. Vaulted ceilings, fireplace, huge King size bed, and free wi-fi! We booked last minute so we bit teh bullet and paid nearly $200/night, but for Calistoga, that's not bad.
The continental breakfast wasn't bad either. The coffee is actually decent! I'd stay here again, but not at the price we paid.

Very nice room for day before New Year's Eve. Got an upstairs room with gas fireplace, fridge, microwave, large firm bed with lots of pillows, flat panel TV and coffeemaker. I liked the little sink near the bed with glasses and ice bucket. Clean and quiet. Little couch in the room too and free wireless. Prices very reasonable. Triple A discount. Even though we had the view opposite the hills the view was OK and we were right near the stairs. There's an agreement with EuroSpa at the other end of town to offer a massage discount. Continental breakfast was better than some I've had - fresh fruit and raisin bagels are a plus. We definitely would go back.

After reading other Yelper's reviews, I concur. This is a nice place for a great price.

RM216 has nice balcony view of a large brown field and the mountains. From this room, you don't hear much noise from anywhere except if the neighbors are using the shower. There's a mini-kitchen consisting of sink, microwave, fridge, coffee maker. Nice "pink" soap/shampoo/q-tips.

Free contenetal breakfast (7-10a) consisting of bagels, english muffins, cereal, fruits, muffins, toast, jams, cream cheese, butter, juice, tea, coffee.

There's an outdoor pool, hot tub, steam room, sauna; open until 10p

Check-in 3p, Check-out 11a

About .25-.5 mi from downtown Calistoga, very walkable.

They also passed out $79/nt coupons for Dec 2- Mar 28.

Been a regular here for some time -  quiet, clean, and comfortable and VERY reasonable rates make it a perfect spot for a long Napa weekend. The continental breakfast is good, and  I always get a room with the spa tub for post-marathon relaxation. Recommended.

This hotel really surprised me.  I chose it because it was the only place I could find in Calistoga that didn't have a 2 night minimum on the weekend, but I would stay there again regardless.  It was super clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. They have a nice outdoor heated pool and hot tub and an excellent free continental breakfast that included cereals, bagels, juices, and fresh fruit.  I got a room on the second floor and I had my own private balcony.  My room was huge and the bathroom was spotless.  I highly recommend this place!

Visited wine country and stayed here for 1 night 7/18-7/19. Room was huge, clean and new. Paid $130.50 for 2 plus 12% room tax. Would stay here again. No complaints considering the prices that they wanted at other places on the Napa side. Only a few minute drive to anywhere. Worth the savings alone.

A great hotel. The rooms were giant, and practically brand new... The pool area was very nice, inviting and empty :) I bet that all the other resorts would give you a much smaller room with a broken a/c. Stay here, save some money and spend it on a massage!
