I stayed at this hotel while in Aptos for a wedding at the Sesnon House. I was impressed with the clean-spacious-comfy rooms, the nice decor and the pretty garden setting! They even have a little waterfall and a Koi pond.
Surprisingly, the complimentary hot breakfast they provide was pretty good too! From the jacuzzi and heated pool outside to the mini fridges in the rooms, this hotel has a lot to offer and I would definitely recommend it to my friends and family.
BTW: They also give you (2) complimentary drink tickets when you check in!

Great cozy hotel, beautiful setting. Meticulously kept gardens, huge koi pond, very family friendly.
Rooms have a "condo" like feel (buildings are only 2 stories tall). Just minutes from the ocean by foot. Rooms are nice sized. The beds are new and very comfortable, and have those high-class touches like modern bedspreads and down pillows.
The attached restaurant is also great, and the room rates come with full breakfast.
The hotel staff accommodated me very nicely, even with my high-maintenance needs to rearrange some rooms and reservations.
Highly recommend!
This is a Best Western?!?! I can't believe it! I've been to my share of Best Western's and this is the best by far.
Comfy bed, cute/modern decor & furniture, love the fish tank in the lobby, and pleased with the service. The free breakfast buffet on Sunday (and Saturday) morning was awesome.
I was in the Aptos area for a wedding and though we received the "wedding discount", the price was completely worth every penny.
When in the area, I would definitly stay here again.

Oh yeah, this is it. Get that coupon out of the mailer and go!
Sleep in their squishy bed after you drink yourself stupid at the Aptos or wherever you can stumble back from 'cuz the bar guy in the am makes the BEST hangover bloody mary EVA!!!!
Plus you can get drinks AT THE POOL.
Yeah the koi and the Sunday _free_ brunch are cool too.

I desperately needed a weekend away, and the boyfriend suggested this place. Great prices (just over $100 for a single), lovely atmosphere (pool, spa, koi pond), and even a complimentary breakfast buffet for patrons. Certainly not the pinnacle of luxury, but a great find if you are looking for a beachy weekend getaway without breaking the bank.
Unfortunately, last weekend's dreary, rainy weather wasn't the best for the beach, but once summer rolls around, I plan to return to Seacliff to enjoy the sandy beauty of the Santa Cruz area!

This was a great place to go with our little ones. They really liked the
swimming pool, hot tub and koi pond. Whenever we're about to go away, they ask if we're going to the "Sea Clift Inn". It's also a very dirvable distance to Santa Cruz boardwalk and even Monterey. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet, microwave and fridge in the room, and that the kids were happy!
The walk to the beach includes too many pedestrian crossings at very high-traffic spots (nerve racking if you have little ones), but you can drive to the beach.

This is a story about a boy. His name is Zev. Zev went to a wedding last weekend. It was near Santa Cruz. The trip from San Francisco to the hotel took 1.5 hours. Since he left at 12 he got there at 1:30pm. At 2pm Zev was at the hotel bar. Zev ordered one plate of nachos, one plate of mozzarella sticks and two beers. The beers were cold and delicious. At 2:30 Zev was drinking beer number 4. At 4:30pm Zev had smoked one half pack of cigarettes and had 9 beers in his belly. Zev then went to a rehearsal dinner and had 5 more beers. At 9pm Zev was back at the hotel bar drinking beer. He had 4 more. 11pm rolled around and Zev was at the Windjammer bar drinking 3 shots and 4 more beers. By 12:30am Zev's eyes did a silly crossover making it impossible to see straight.
This is making me sick just writing this. Blech. Screw the children. Suffice it to say that the next day after the wedding I was back at the hotel bar drinking more. Hours and hours more. But this place is cool for a cheapy Best Western. Comfy beds, great bar that has live music, pool/jacuzzi WITH poolside service (drinks and food), and the Windjammer is across the street!
