For you ski & snowboard-vacationing folks, this Best Western offers a warm bed, hot tub, and discount lift tickets.
Its location isn't very obvious. It is not right off I-70, but not hard to find either. The rooms are those outdoor-facing ones, which is okay since the neighhood is quiet. Inside, everything is pretty well-maintained. Bathroom is clean and towels are plenty. Continental breakfast is included. Pretty standard, really.
My only complaint: Pillows. Like most hotels & motels, good pillows are hard to come by. One's too few, two's too many. If you can, bring your own.
Now, the perks. You get discount lift tickets to nearby ski resorts. When I was there last week, they also offered this "Bee Line" upgrade for free, for Copper Mountain. Bee line is one of those "express lanes" where you cut ahead of everyone else. On a busy day, you save 5-10 minutes each run, easily.
You also get a public, coed hot tub and sauna, a great place for relaxing your strained muscles and chitchatting with random strangers. And, if you're really lucky, you'll get to share some of the 1800 that's passed around...
One bizarre thing: I left a tip for the first night stay, but the cleaning lady didn't take it. So if you're worried like me that it'd upset them for not leaving a tip each day, well, relax!
It's cheaper if you book through the internet. My nonsmoking room with two double beds costs about $130 per night with tax, and that's on low side compared to nearby hotels.
I'd stay here again.

This hotel is located right next to Like Dillon and the view is spectacular, of course your room probably won't have that view but still... The rooms are clean and just fine for a a day or a few if you are on a ski vacation. There is also free wifi and a mini fridge in the rooms which I liked. It's a short drive from the ski resorts and has a nice little continental breakfast of bagels, cereal, yogurt etc. I was actually impressed by the showers here, usually chain hotels have crappy showers but these were roomy and powerful. We will definitely stay here again if in the area. Staff was friendly and helpful when needed.
