Our final http://hotels.com deal for our road trip. Decent hotel to stay at when visiting Long Beach, as it's a really short drive over and hotels in Long Beach seem to be on the two poles - super nice and expensive or ghetttttooo and cheap. Staying here, we found the happy medium.

Good wireless internet, and close to Little Saigon if you like Vietnamese food (we partook).

So, it's hubby's first time ever in his life to go to Disneyland. What?! Is he not from this country, you ask? Nope, he was born and raised in SF with many broken promises from his dad that one day they will go to Disneyland as a family. Fast forward 35 years later, hubby still has not visited the happiest place on earth. Since he recently quit his evil job and got away from his scum sucking boss, I decided to take him to Disneyland to relax and not think about all the abuse he got from his asshole ex-boss. I looked around for a few good deals for hotels around Anaheim, but most were pretty darn expensive, so I looked a few miles farther away and found the Best Western Palm Garden Inn. We got a really good deal because we had the AAA discount and they were only 8 miles away from Disneyland! I searched Yelp for some food places around this hotel and found out that it is really close to Little Saigon. Yes, cheap hotel and cheap Pho! What a combo! When we finally got to the hotel, the front desk person was very attentive and polite. She gave us our room keys and directed us to our room. The room was pretty clean and had a refrigerator and free DSL connection! Yes! Now I can Yelp while I'm on vacation! I took one star off only because after watching a 20/20 report about bed bugs on hotel sheets, I was really paranoid and checked the bed inside and out. Although I did not find bed bugs, I did find food crumbs on my sheets. Eeeww... and hubby also mentioned that the pillows smelled like Chinese food. But, I guess you get what you paid for, right? Overall, we had a good experience at this Best Western and we would stay here again and hopefully get clean bedding the next time around.
