You MUST stay here if you are visiting Mohegan Sun!! I stayed here because I was going to see a show at the Mohegan Sun Arena and the casino was charging an OUTRAGEOUS $600.00 per night. I don't know who they think they are but I wasn't about to dish out that much money for just one night when I could probably find a great deal on a week long vacation for the same price.
The hotel is OK. It is CLEAN and conveniently located a 15 min drive away from the casino. The bonus is they even have a free shuttle service to and from the casino which runs on the hour (that was my deal breaker). Just be sure to call ahead and reserve what shuttles you want and the amount of people you are traveling with. If you don't reserve a shuttle they don't allow you on.
The hotel is the cheapest in the area (trust me -- i called them ALL) and the people working at the reception desk are incredibly nice. If you stay here you even get a complimentary free buffet breakfast in the restaurant located within the hotel.
There is no need to pay insane Mohegan Sun prices!! A clean hotel with shuttles to and from the casino is a deal you can not beat!
Me and my boyfriend come here occasionally for the jacuzzi suite. Its not bad considering the price (with military discount) The hotel is in desperate need of an upgrade the beds & decor seem to be old & outdated. The jacuzzi is big but not exactly luxury, It kind of reminds me of a mini YMCA pool. There are 2 tvs in the room facing opposite of each other, one for the bed and the other for the couch. When we would be laying in bed we would hit the remote and the tv on the other side would turn on and that kind of drove us crazy. Free wifi is always good and theres a $10 voucher for food at the hotel's restaurant flanagans. I give this place 4 Stars considering the price we pay for the room. Im not sure the regular rate but if your paying full price I probably wouldn't reccomend it.
