My favorite place to stay when visiting relatives in Marin County. The rooms are clean, spacious, and affordable. Free Continental Breakfast. Free Wireless Internet, and Work Desk, in every room. Within a short drive to Restaurants and Shopping. Approximately 35 minute drive to San Francisco. Visit website  (http://www.novatooaksi...)  for more information.

FYI:  One reviewer wrote that she had a room with an ocean view on the beach. Sorry, but there's no beach or ocean anywhere near this place.

Whoa!  When my car, Old Unfaithful, stranded us near the beginning of my road trip, I needed a massage, a Coke, and a smile.  Instead, I got the Best Western at midnight on a random drive-by (squeak-by).

This place is fantastic!!!!!  I think it's more like a 4-5 star hotel than a Best Western.  I could not believe how nice it was, and we got an ocean view hotel room on the beach for $150.  Whaaaaat?  And the rooms were immaculate.  You can't get a better deal right outside of SF anywhere else.... it's worth it.

This is a review for the meeting facilities only.

The staff was very nice.  The meeting room we used was on the second floor.  I sampled the breakfast bar, and the make your own waffles KICKED ASS.  Nice wireless connection and plenty of electricity for everyone's laptop. Ample free parking outside.

I searched and I searched and every charming little inn, boutique hotel and bed and breakfast I liked had one thing in common: rooms with one bed.

Now, for a romantic getaway, one bed is perfect. But since this trip was for me and Mom, two beds were definitely in order.

Enter, the Best Western Novato Oaks Inn. Nicely priced, centrally located, accommodating staff and spacious rooms. Not only that but our room came with a deluxe continental breakfast which included all types of tea, coffee, juices, pastries, cereals, hard-boiled eggs, even a make your own waffle station!

Mom and I didn't bring our suits, but we observed plenty of guests enjoying the hot tub. The hotel also boasts a pool, a library and a small gym.

And when we woke up the next morning to sunshine, we hopped in the car and took a drive to the Point Reyes National Seashore to admire the ocean.

While the Novato Oaks Inn isn't hip or laden with modern decor, it provides great bang for your buck. I'd definitely recommend it to the business traveler. I also think it'd be a great spot for families.

Words to the wise:
When making a reservation, ask for a "hillside facing room" to avoid street noise.

I echo Miriam's thoughts.  The Best Western in Novato is a great find and it's super affordable.  The rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, pool is awesome and they serve a very nice continental breakfast.   Food at the Wild Fox Restaurant across the parking lot is excellent.

Overall an excellent value for the low price. This BW is far nicer than most 4 start hotels.
