When I checked in on Friday, disaster. No rooms were ready by 3:00 p.m.
Everything was a hassle. They make you sign like 3 forms stating that you will pay for stuff like tax, safe, etc. I found it annoying.
When I finally did get a room, it was awful. Right on the street.
I had specifically asked not to be in this location.
They finally gave me another room. The 2nd room had a backed up toilet.
On the plus side, they have a nice little pool that was not being used and i hopped right in :) This was the highlight of my stay and the reason for the 2 stars; the pool.
Breakfast was pretty much non-existant.
It wasn't cheap (over $130 bucks); save your money, it sucks here.

This is one of the nicest Best Westerns I have stayed at. I read somewhere it was recently renovated and it shows! The King size temperpedic bed really made the stay comfortable. Everything was neat and clean. The bathrooms are roomy, the only complaint is that there was not enough hot water in the morning. Other than that, I highly recommend this hotel for a convenient short stay. Happy travels~
My experience at the Best Western Newport Beach Inn couldn't have gone smoother. Check -in was very easy, and I was promptly shown to my upgraded Deluxe room on the fourth floor with the Temperpedic King bed and the 37" LCD TV. I am enjoying my stay here. You have to know how to carry yourself, IMHO.
