We stayed one night in Saranac Lake and this hotel is everything you know and want out of a Best Western.  Our room was clean with extra pillows and blankets.  They do have an indoor pool but we checked in after 10pm and it had closed.  The bathroom had a hair dryer and coffee maker and there was plenty of TV to watch before we all passed out after a long day.

Why can't they raise the level of the shower heads?  Or make it so I'm not stepping up when I step into the tub?  This isn't so much a criticism of this particular hotel, but of a trend I've been seeing lately.  I'm only slightly taller than the average woman and I was doing backbends to get my hair clean.  Just sayin'.

Plenty of Best Westerny goodness, and super clean, but I honestly don't know why you would stay here with so many good B&Bs and spotless old school motels in town for far less cash. (Maybe for those that don't like atmosphere.) Super clean place, good location, but not as convenient to the village as many of the other lodging choices. Decent restaurant, but it closes at 2pm during  much of the year.
