Yeah, a little sketchy. It's in a more industrial area, with little of interest around it. The place was clean enough, and the staff very friendly.
I would say that it was two stars considering the price, but you can find total redemption for the hotel at their in-house bar. Beyond the charming 'Howard Johnsons' 1970's styling, they serve $2 dollar drafts during their lengthy happy hour. Kudos for that!
Still, I'm happy to be headed up to the Hyatt this evening... Also, as a side note: I would have not ever stayed here had Priceline's website not crapped the bed yesterday. I feel like I got a one star hotel at three star pricing. :)
Eww. This hotel was dirty and gross... bugs in my room, shady part of town. Only stayed here because I won the hotel on http://priceline.com for $56. I will never be booking a 2-star hotel through Priceline again because of this place.
