What people do not understand about this place is:
1) they are in Knoxville. Not the main city, but the outskirts. You are not in the lap of luxury. So when you ask for 2 beds and you get 2 queens plus   pull out for a phenomenol price. You don't complain. This place is a great value for what you are getting.
2) Facilities. So when you get there, you think you'll exercise a bit, ride the bike or take a swim. You probably won't do either when you lay eyes on what's there, but no worries, you can go fora run on Cedar Lane. They do have a continental breakfast that will get the job done when you're ready to head back to Nashville.

Also, there is a wide selection of foods for when you get hungry. So this place does do what it's supposed to do. Feed you and sleep you.

And no traffic because it is just far enough away from the school.

Definitely not the Four Seasons!  I'm ok with a 1 night stay in a place that's not gorgeous, I just ask that it be clean and have some space.  Well after the toddler found several bobby pins on the floor of our room, we knew it wasn't clean.

When I made reservations here, I specifically asked if it was 2 rooms (we had a great 2 room suite at La Quinta).  I was told yes.  It had a divider that was about chest high, no door, so I guess that divider split it into 2 rooms.  We didn't have enough towels and even though they told me on the phone and in their brochure in the room that they had a crib, the staff told me that they didn't have them.  The clerk at the front desk made Granny Clampett look friendly!

The continental breakfast was pretty good with lots of fruit, yogurt, freshly made waffles and donuts and juice.  The room that you ate the breakfast in was nice as well.  The indoor pool was about as big as your bathtub.  More than 3 kids and it's an accident waiting to happen.

So even though our stop here was brief, it was an even to forget!
