The Best Western was clean & staff was friendly. The only complaint I had was that the comforter looked like one you'd see in a retirement community in Florida. Wow. An upgrade would be nice...
It was affordable for the season - though I wished they had a shuttle of some kind to the Pier area / village. The pool and hot tub were well-kept (though we didn't have a ton of time to use it.)
The staff gave good area recommendations for food and cab transportation - though later we heard the same hotel staff person having a personal phone conversation with someone about her court date (which sounded like a drinking and driving episode rehashed on a Jerry Springer show. complete with 'oh no she didn't' and 'i wasnt looking at your man'). She was still really helpful and waited on us when we needed help- but I would remind her that isn't the most professional.
Hotel offers bike rentals too (which is a plus!)
ps- beware of stray cats in the parking lot at night!
