1 review for Best Western Inn
While most motels on El Camino are pulled back from the street, this small motel is right up against the sidewalk, squeezed into a narrow strip between El Camino and a residential neighborhood. So it might seem that this place would experience a lot of street noise, but it turns out only the lobby faces the street, and the rooms are tucked in the back, many facing a small courtyard with a pool. The atmosphere back here is surprisingly tranquil. And only a few steps away is Edgewood Road, offering access to pleasant walks on beautiful residential streets.
After doing a little research, this was the motel I chose for my parents when they came for a visit. It probably wouldn't have been my first choice had the options in RWC been better. (It turns out there are *zero* decent hotels within a short walk of the downtown area.) But it was reasonably close to our house, the staff was very friendly, and the price was good for the area ($100 - $130). As for breakfast, the motel provides a complimentary one, but is also adjacent to Stacks restaurant, which offers a decent breakfast if you are willing to brave the lines and pay a little extra. Plus it is also easy walking distance to Starbucks and Donut House.
My parents' room was clean, spacious and quiet, on the ground floor near the pool. They left satisfied and so I'll assign a decent rating.
Oh and... FTR Whore Newbie strikes again!!
