I loved the location of the hotel which is really in the Rouge River area, it's so peaceful and pleasant. Staff was friendly and the rooms nice, very comfy beds. But one star off for having water pipes that sounded like they were 1 inch from my ears at times.

This hotel was a total letdown. First of all, it's not technically IN Grants Pass - it's about 10 miles past it (in Rogue River). This was mainly impactful of our dining options, upon our evening check-in. Everything near the hotel closed very early.

We paid for the jacuzzi suite, and that was a major disappointment. The tub is in the middle of the sleeping area, is SUPER loud, old and the heart shape makes it impractical. For two taller people, it's more awkward than romantic. Everything in the hotel and suite was old, for that matter. I'd say our room (which is the nicest at this location) looked like it hadn't been updated at all for a good 20 years. The non-negotiable ammenity I looked for at every hotel booked on this trip was a POOL. This hotel advertised a pool and spa when we booked it a few weeks prior. During our stay, the entire pool/spa area was closed for painting. The front cobblestone entryway was also closed for painting. You'd think that when a hotel has scheduled (or unscheduled) maintenance, they either tell you upon booking or discount your stay upon check in. That was not the case here. Additionally, the lot next door to our room was undergoing extremely loud and large construction that began at the crack of dawn, and was quite audible from our very hard bed. This stay was not restful at all.

For the price paid, it was a total rip off.

A nice place to stay - the hot tub was open in December, it was freezing but we went anyway - very hot, private and the bubbles were super-charged, I think it was the best hot tub yet. It gets 5 stars.

The hotel itself has a nice decor, roomy, pleasant atmosphere with a mini-breakfast (so-so) and news playing in the lobby all morning. Pleasant staff and good hot cocoa and cider. I liked it.

the hotel has bed bugs.  They were spraying while I was there.  I was bitten and the little critters came home with me.  My house became infested 20 days later and I spent $400 cleaning it.

We planned a trip to CA, and this was the point to stop at for the night to break our trip up into two days.  My husband checked us in and later commented on how nice the woman was at the front counter--and it was midnight when we arrived!  We were there for only a short time, but our room was nice and clean, and quiet.  Breakfast, albeit starchy, was good the next morning, and the man who checked us out was very nice and professional.

Also, we travel with our little 10-lb dog, and their pet fee was very reasonable at only $10.  We've attempted to stay at hotels before in which they wanted to charge us $75 for our dog!  We don't own a St Bernard!  And when all was said and done, our room was only $100-including the pet fee.  Very reasonable.

For a last minute stop, this was a surprisingly nice hotel.  We will stay here again if we're passing through the area along the I-5 corridor.

Stayed at this motel a few days ago and have to say that it was real pleasant. The guy at the desk was super friendly and even called us after we checked in to see if the room met our expectations! Will definitely stay there again if given the opportunity.

After hours of driving, it is just nice to stop.  Especially by a lovely river with geese and ducks. The desk guy was friendly, our bed was wayyyy tooooo hard, and breakfast was starch heavy but good.  There is a pool and hot tub, and a couple of restaurants in "town", a few more in the town of Grants Pass.
