It's a fine place to stay, considering prices in the area it will do fine.

We used this as the main hotel for our wedding, guests generally had no complaints.  The apartment suite near the office was a good home base for my parents, it has a living room to have a few folks over for drinks etc.

For services I made use of the WiFi and the printer, which can be handy for last minute wedding business.  Also close to Costco, BevMo, Best Buy, etc. handy for booze/food buys.

Cheap onsite breakfast is a nice bonus.

Cons - Front desk staff was not the most friendly considering how many rooms filled, but maybe they are tired of large parties.

Remodeled rooms are nice, but the ones that haven't been are just average.

Summary - Our guests who needed something fancy stayed elsewhere, but most stayed here and were fine.  I was glad we went here over Comfort Inn (nicer) and didn't go somewhere more expensive.

Nice location,we got lovely room,it was specious and comfortable. We travel with dog,so it was good experience to stay here. Our dog even got a dogie treat from a front desk. Price of the hotel not includes the breakfast. You may order it from a cafe that located right next. So we did,but it was nothing special.

Ya know, a Best Western could go either way. You could roll up in that piece and find yourself sleeping under a bedspread that looks like Jackson Pollack filmed jiz porn on it and that smells like John Wayne's nutsack. Or you could get something basic, clean, and sensibly-priced. I was pleasantly surprised to find the latter at this BW. The place was clean, smelled lovely, and was quite the bargain for our hotel dollar.

As a bonus, there was a dude working the desk who looked like Big Pussy, complete with the Satriale's sausage gut, the shiny shirt, and the tacky bling. He also had tattoos on each wrist that said "I love my life."

A clean, cheap room complete with some Guido zen. What's not to love?

Pleasantly surprised by this Best Western!

The fiance and I wanted an inexpensive place to stay in Santa Rosa after our friend's wedding.  Reluctantly I agreed to the Best Western at $119 a night thinking it would be super sketchy.

This hotel is just 1 block off the highway so you don't hear any of the noise.  The rooms are very CLEAN and the decor is 2 steps above your typical Best Western.  Nice property with 2 pools and a hot tub if you want that sort thing - we skipped the breakfast at the Cafe and opted for breakfast at the Parkside Cafe just a 1/2 mile up the road.

If you don't want to spend $400 a night at a typical wine country inn - but yet want something convenient, clean and reasonably priced - stay at the Best Western Garden Inn.

Pros:
I stayed on Friday night.  It was nice and clean throughout the hotel. The inside room was very clean and I'm picky.  The bed was really comfortable. The room was on the small size. Bathroom fixtures and tv console were all modern enough.

The hotel has two pools, both looked really clean and inviting enough to take a dip.    I thought they did a nice job with the landscaping (pretty flowers all around), even along the back fence where they didn't have to plant flowers.  I find a lot of budget minded hotels will do the bare minimum. They paint the doors all nice, make the first impression look good, but once you actually go through the front door, you notice how cheap and nasty  the place is. Fraudulent marketing.

This place is pretty consistent throughout for a budget hotel. Nice!

Oh! I left our swimsuits behind and they mail them back to me within days of returning home. Nice, since I loathe trying to find a swimsuit that looks good on me. Thank you Hotel Mgr.

Con:  Walls are not insulated and you can hear a lot of outside noise/people talking. I woke up 2am to some people who seem to be having a party of sorts.

At first, I thought this place was kind of sketch since it is right by a freeway, but it had regular people patrons, not druggies and prostitutes. Whew! Anyway, in terms of a hotel, it's pretty average, but since it only cost us $75 a night, it's a good place for the value and location. Location meaning close to everything you need to hit up in Santa Rosa, and also by food places, malls, and big plazas. They also give a hefty discount for AAA/military/government. We were assigned a first floor place, but I was like ick, and then we got upgraded for free to a King Deluxe upstairs. The rooms are clean considering they allow pets, though the beds could have been more comfortable. They are currently having everything redone, so I think I would be back if need be to stay in the area.

P.S. It is much cheaper to stay in Santa Rosa than Bodega Bay.

Recently remodeled and very clean.  All new carpet/ bed coverings and drapes.  But the Biggie...THEY ACCEPT PETS!.  My room was quiet.   The Garden Inn had plenty of parking and  was centrally located.  Although I did not go to the little restaurant....it looked clean and filled with people.  I would go there again.

This hotel is neither chic nor glamorous but it is clean and the staff are friendly.

The reason why I am staying here is because is it the only pet friendly (dog) hotel in the area.

The rates are reasonable - I think I am paying $89 per night plus $15 extra for my dog.  There is a cute, no-frills cafe where they have very inexpensive items for breakfast.  Great service there too.

I would recommend this place if you are traveling with a pet.  If you are not traveling with a pet then it isnt bad at all - I just think there are finer places to stay in the area, like the Flamingo Hotel downtown.

It's a Best Western so it's not the epitome of luxury.  But it allowed me to book a one night stay (Friday) in the middle of September for only $119.  This price came with breakfast for two (not bad!) as well as a bottle of wine upon check-in (also not bad!).  The front desk people were a bit of a motley crew but they cared SO much about us having a nice stay, all helpful and gracious.  That makes a huge difference.  The room was clean and large but not anything fantastic.  Minus a star for the thin walls and odd decor.

I stayed here recently when I participated in the Healdsburg Harvest Century (which is a really great bike ride that happens every year, and unfortunately, cannot be Yelped).  Anyway, it is your basic motor lodge with rooms that open to the outside so you can park right near the door to your room (a definite plus if you are traveling with bikes, or other large items that you don't want to leave in the car).  The staff was pleasant, the rooms were clean, there is wireless, and every room has a microwave and fridge.  It's not luxurious, but if you're looking for a reasonably-priced place to stay in Sonoma while you're out enjoying other activities, this is a good option.

I was actually pleasantly surprised by this motel.  Driving up to it I thought I was in for a horrible experience, it's next to a not so nice neighborhood and some of the buildings look a little sketchy.  But it's been recently remodeled and was clean!  The motel staff was very friendly.  My only gripe is that the maids never came the second day to clean the room.  Overall it was a pleasant experience and worth the price.
