4 reviews for Best Western Courtesy Inn
I love this place. Since my in laws and hubby's family are living in El Cajon, so we decide to stay here for our lodging needs.
The staff if I am not mistaken the owner who has short hair is from Scotland, showed us 2 options of rooms available when we first arrived on Monday July 21st 2008. We stayed here till the Friday of July 25th 2008. Since we are not a member of AAA we also received some discounts when we produced our Costco membership card.
First question she asked, "Are you here for the Comic-Con?" At first I was a little confused with the question, but hubby just said "No". We believed the weekend of that week were the highlight of San Diego having the Comic Con thingy. Indeed a warm welcome from this Scotish lady. If only I ask for her name.
We choosed the second room. ROOM 301 to be exact. Another added bonus of staying at this Best Western is the IN Room Internet Access that both of us can have for our stay. Plus not forgetting they have a microwave and a fridge in this room!!! 2 thumbs up for this room!!
The room was clean and I have a lovely stay here at Best Western Courtesy Inn. Would definitely stay here when we are in town in the future.
We also stayed here for another night on Sunday July 27 2008 from our trip up north.

I have stayed here 3 times, twice with just my husband who is a truck driver and is here EVERY Friday, and once w/ my husband and daughter. Twice I stayed because I went with my husband on his deliveries and we had an enjoyable stay, Annie, the Scotswoman is very nice and friendly and always helpful to us. When we came for a 4th of July weekend w/ our daughter we stayed in a Suite w/ a connecting room and it was very nice. The pool is always clean and sparkling when we have gone and the "Continental Brkfst" is really nice. The wafflemaker is really cool! This is a great place to stay if you are with your family and need somewhere clean, nice and affordable.
It's a Best Western, you know what to expect.
The staff was friendly, the room was clean. Not enough parking and in an ok part of town.

Bf and I stayed here last night for one night. This inn is located a tad far from the major attractions in SD. We stayed in the king suite with the in room whirlpool. The whirlpool was nice, but the king bed really turned out to be two twins pushed together. Even so, the bed was very comfy and we slept well. The restroom and tub were clean and the shower head was strong. Continental breakfast was yummy. We really enjoyed the make it yourself waffles. The staff was nice, and overall it was a good experience. The only drawback is as I have mentioned above is that it is a bit far from downtown SD.
