Having lived here for about a month off and on, I would say this is pretty good.  I've had better, but this isn't too bad.

PROS
I love the in-room breakfast service.  You leave your order the night before, along with the time you want it delivered within a 15-minute window.  The guy knocks on your door and you have freshly brewed Starbucks Coffee, yogurt, freshly cut fruit, muffins and orange juice!  Be warned, be sure to get it from your doorstep as soon as they deliver it, otherwise, the birds may get to it first.

Max's Restaurant right next to the hotel is wonderful.  I highly recommend the steak sandwich.  You can order straight from your room, take out from the restaurant, or dine in.  The restaurant is great, casual, and clean.

Once you're in the front door, you can use the sliding glass door to enter and exit, which leads right to the pool, gym, and fields.

The towels are soft and fluffy, they have free wireless internet, the staff is friendly, most all basis are covered!

CONS
The rooms are much smaller than what I would expect.

There is no house bar.  I stay at Best Western's when I travel, and usually when I check in I get free drinks and food at the in-house bar and restaurant.  Since they don't have one, no free Jack Daniels for me.

In all, for the money, you can't find much better of a value for Marin County.

Decent motel, but hardly the resort-like environment they describe on their web page.  This is a clean motel with some minimal updating to justify the high prices.  The employees were all courteous and helpful.  Delivering the free continental breakfast was nice, but the food was ordinary (yogurt, fruit cup, generic muffin).

The worst thing about this place was that we left a cell phone in the room.  Called Monday and i was encouraged to pick it up and not have phone mailed.  Unable to pick up, called back Thursday afternoon and was told that the Inn only had a mail pick up once a week and it had just happened.  I would have to wait another week.   Not very good customer service.

The reality is you are paying for the location, in the middle of Marin County, but not the motel's amenities.

This may be the best motel in Corte Madera, a great little town with two shopping centers and plenty of restaurants. The rooms are reasonably quiet, most with an outdoor balcony or patio, and upscale decor. It is not cheap but charges about the going rate for a good motel in the area. It has a good outdoor hot tub, but watch for scorching heat on the feet from the nearby tiles on a sunny day. It has a nice big swimming pool with lap lanes. But the pool has a swim club in summer, and its members can be quite possessive. Don't dare take their swim lanes or their kick boards or they will get mad at you. And you may have to look for fresh towels and the pool attendant.
