Rhinelander is my home-town so I KNOW most of their local businesses. The Claridge has been around forever. It could use a little upgrading here and there but my latest stay in Jan. 2007 was a good experience. The room was clean and decently decorated and this hotel's location is good in that it's near the down-town area. Haven't used their pool in years so can't comment there but the restaurant offers good food and decent prices. They used to have a Sunday brunch that was excellent...not sure if they still do. They have an on-site lounge, which at the time, offered online NTN trivia games and the bartender(s) are funny and attentive. Prices were decent too. All-in-all, I wasn't disappointed. And their little outdoor rainbow trout "pond" is a landmark feature.
