First the place was cleaned, and if fact the two maids I dealt with were extremely nice and helpful.
And the basics worked.
But outside of that there is no much kindness one can say about this place.
First of all at 4:00 or so every morning, or each morning we were there, somebody honks right outside the entrance, radio blaring, multiple cars, etc.
Then when you fall back to sleep they'll knock on your door. In our case it was for a tub running over. Only we were sleeping, not running water. And maybe that could be forgiven, but the front desk person who came up (why didn't they call?) was belligerent, mean, and just nasty. Nice way to wake up from a 10 minute sleep. So after getting at 2:PM the hotel allowed us to get about 90 minuets of sleep between interruptions before 5:00. And then the morning noises come.
This isn't the place to stay if sleep is a goal.
In the morning when I went to complain about the nasty worker who work us up, I just a nasty front desk person who didn't care. Customer service with a smile isn't something to expect here.
The bed had no blanket. The toilet paper wasn't suited for a county jail. The nobs were torn off of almost everything. The facial tissue was just thrown about on the sink. The coffee made you wish you have Folgers, and the coffee maker didn't work very well anyway so I went downstairs to breakfast which was nasty food and there was no coffee cups which ended with another rude encounter with staff.
For the price we paid we didn't expect the Ritz, but there are far cheaper places in the area that have all these basic things working. And toilet paper that doesn't make me bleed.
If the choice was between staying in my car or here, it would depend on how cold the night was. -

While my experience of this hotel didn't start off well at all. I must say Management is not very helpful at all and that's where this review comes from.
Management is rude, won't wait to find out your side of the story and realize that the room that was trashed was not you or anyone you were associated with fault. You were in the other room and never entered the other room that was "messy" so the reason it was trashed is beyond you and since you didn't rent it you are not to be held responsible for it.
The front desk clerk was very helpful...I wish I had gotten his name. He was very nice, patient and as mentioned rather helpful. But his boss was not and she was dare I say a beotch!
I dare you to try and bill me for a room I didn't stay in, with people I don't know and untold damages that I did not do! Also the next time you decide to verbally abuse someone try not to do it in your lobby where your camera is recording!
