3 reviews for Best Western Boulder Inn
I like writing positive reviews rather than negative ones, and this place really exceed my expectations. I did "name your price" on Priceline so I got a great deal here. I was in Boulder for a wedding so me and my buddy shared a room. I forgot to call the hotel in advance to specify I needed 2 double beds. When my friend and I got into our room, there was an awkward moment when we saw only 1 King. We're bros, but not like that. I went back to the front desk and they immediately set us up in a room with 2 double beds for only $10/more per night. Not bad at all. They could have ripped us off, but they didn't. Since they transferred us into a different room quickly, the new room was clean, but did not have towels, toliet paper, or a hair dryer for some reason. After calling the front desk, we got a rapid response from a cute girl who brought us those items.
The hotel room also smelled like an upscale strip club, which honestly, I loved. The skanky strip clubs smell like ash-trays and cheap perfume. The upscale ones smell like Bath&Body Works + expensive perfume. It was an added bonus, but unfortunately I was sharing a room with a college buddy, so the mood was wasted.
Other great things were the location and the friendly staff. The location was close to campus and also where the wedding was at, Chautauqua, a wonderful park where you can hike and stay in cabins. Also nearby are 2 gas stations within walking distance you can buy food or drinks at. The hotel also rents bikes if you want to ride your bike to campus or restaurants not within walking distance. They have have a free business center to use if you want to use the internet or print out your boarding pass.
The only bad things I can say about the hotel is that the walls are thin, but most of the noise comes from the hallway. A couple university girl soccer teams were staying there (Cal & Arizona) so there were a bunch of giggly-girls running around. Not that I minded one bit, but they sure get up early and have lots of energy.
Overall I highly recommend this place for travelers on a budget, families, travelling sports teams, high-end strippers or just a couple of dudes looking for a place to crash.

This place was a totally decent place to sleep, shower, and drunkenly come home to. But... it also reminded me of what a snob I am. Thank goodness our room was non smoking, on the top floor and had a deck. I get really grossed out when I walk into a hotel and the first floor is a smoking floor and smells of cigarettes. The pool and hot tub seamed nice, but with an an 11 am check out and a 12 pm late checkout, there was not time to venture in the water. The room was spacious and clean. Thankfully this place was cheap, so it really had that going for it, but not much else. It wasn't bad, and it wasn't nice.
