Best Western Blue Rock Motor Inn
1 review for Best Western Blue Rock Motor Inn
Shh! Don't tell anyone about this fantastic little motel on the Cape!
At first glance, the Blue Rock is just like any other Best Western Cape motel. The rooms are nice, if not anything to write home about, the staff is friendly, and the food is average. OK, sounds good, right?
Well, what makes this place so awesome is that it's part of the Red Jacket chain of resorts in the South Yarmouth area, and by staying at the Blue Rock, you have access to all of the amenities at Red Jacket's other "resorts" (aka motels). This means you have access to a PRIVATE beach, three or four great restaurants, including a beach-side bar, and facilities for all your favorite vacation activities (golf, jet-skiing, parasailing, etc.).
If you're a golf fan, the Blue Rock has a par-three course right on its grounds. I never played, but it looked pretty great. Best of all, this place is quiet, it's tucked away, and you can close your eyes and forget you're on the Cape (far enough away from the cheesey neon and traffic of Route 28).
You're also about a 15 minute-drive away from Chatham in one direction, and Hyannis in the other, so if you want to cruise downtown Chatham, or do some shopping in Hyannis, you can't go wrong.
This is a great little find on the Cape. I recommend it wholeheartedly. I'll definitely be back.
