I have to say that this is the "Best Vacuum" place I've been too. I haven't been to many though, but these guys really know vacuums and air filters, are truly helpful, and not pushy at all. Also the store is very stylish for a vacuum store and carries the top of the line manufacturers like Miele and Bosch. Kind of like the BMW dealer of vacuum cleaner stores.
Anyway, I bought a fancy Austin Air air filter because of allergies. So far, so good on the allergy front, no need to buy replacement filters, and it has a nice white noise sound that helps block out the fire trucks and general street traffic below.
So, if you are looking for something a cut-above (or two...or three) what they sell at Target, head on over to this place. I don't think you will be disappointed.
Our Miele vacuum just broke. I had no idea how old it was or what was wrong, but I turned it over and there was the sticker for Best Vacuum, so I called the 888 number. They still had our account information after perhaps 6 years, offered to pick up the vacuum and also offered to give us a loaner while ours was being fixed. And my phone conversation lasted perhaps 5 minutes.
Customer service at its best!

I knew pretty much what Miele vacuum I wanted before I walked in, and I could have ordered it online, but I am thrilled--yea, thrilled--that I chose to go to the brick-and-mortar store.
The service here is fantastic. It goes far, far beyond just being nice while they show you different models. I can't pin down exactly what it is, but it's things like this:
(1) If you want, they will assemble their various vacuums and install filters for you right in store so you don't have to deal with packaging or figuring out how to snap together pieces the right way. Then you just have your little canister vacuum to pop in your car -- and yes, they'll carry it out for you. If, like me, you have lots of junk in your trunk and it doesn't fit easily, and you explain sheepishly you haven't gotten away to throwing it out, they will offer without blinking to take it and toss it for you.
(2) You get an extra year's warranty and freebies if you shop in-store. Their service warranty means that if anything goes wrong with your vacuum, they will come pick it up from your house and give you a loaner while yours is being repaired.
(3) If, in your glee over your pretty new vacuum, you are silly enough to leave something you bought in the store, they will contact you right away and offer to drop it by for you the next day when they are doing deliveries. And if that doesn't work, they might very well offer, like they did with me, to just swing by your place when they closed shop in half an hour.
If you value your time, and shudder thinking about the hassle that is dealing with customer service 99.9% of the time today, go here. It was almost worth the price of the vacuum just to have my faith in customer service restored.
There are not many places like this left. GO.
We called ahead to see if they had the part to our vacuum. We needed the brush replaced. They said they did. This is not a convenient place to get to from Ukie Village without a car so we did an iGo rental. We get to the place and the guy behind the counter, who seemed stoned or something, said we had to leave the part and their repair guy would call us on Monday. Um, what? Okay, we do that. 30 mins. later they call us and say they have the part but they close in 15 mins. What?!
We went to Target and bought a new vacuum. Bad customer service!
I couldn't agree more with the other reviewer's comments. My wife and I went today in search of a Miele Cannister Vacuum. We found a great model, had great customer service - our salesman showed us different models, let us try them out. If you're in the market for a good vacuum, this should be your first stop.
Best Vacuum on Lincoln, the shop doesn't look like much from the outside, but once you walk in you'll be greeted by the best customer service we've received in a long time. After looking all over town for a new cannister vacuum that was suitable for our hardwood floors, we came across Best Vacuum. Best Vacuum is one of the only stores in area that sells cannister vacuums and they've been an authorized dealer of high end models Miele, Sebo and Dyson vacuum cleaners for over 20 years and their knowledge shows. Take one for a test around the store. Hear and feel the differences between models. As mentioned they are higher end, so be prepared to pay, but we like that salesmen threw in some freebies and let us select different attachments than what comes standard at no additional cost. You'll automatically be entered in system for service updates, and of course if anything goes wrong they will fix at store. Just a very classy service.
