It's time to finally break-up with Best Friends, of which we are no longer.

I've been several times since my last review, always attempting to give this nice lady a chance. But every time I go, there's a problem.

Yesterday, my pants were supposed to be ready after a week (hem job). There's a line of people in front of me when I get there. There's a man trying to pick up his pants, too, and they can't find them. After scouring the store, they locate the pants, and the man walks out, looking upset.

The next women in line says she was just there picking up pants and she was missing a pair. The store owner looked so frazzled at this point. She looked everywhere and couldn't find this poor woman's pants. She finally asked the other woman to come back into the store with her and they looked through about 20 other orders. She finally finds her pants mixed in with someone else's, and the woman who owns the store says, "well now this customer is also missing a pair of pants, do you have them at home?" The woman customer says she's sure all the pants she went home with were hers, and she was just missing a pair.

Then there's me. My pants aren't done, and she can't find a pair. I'm not sure why I expected it to be any better this time. The next day, she did have both my pants ready (and they were the right ones), and the work was great on them, but this has to be the most unorganized dry cleaners on the face of the earth. You simply cannot run a business if you're mixing up everyone's clothing and not getting things done when you promise them (which is always the case 100 percent of the time I go here).

The only reason I gave them two stars instead of one is because they did honor a coupon I had, even though I lost it, and the woman who owns the shop really is nice ... just ridiculously unorganized.

You know when you get so mad that your teeth clench, you can feel your body temperature rising, and you involuntarily shake? Yeah, that just happened to me at Best Friends Cleaners!

As stated in my inaugural review for them, I only take my best clothes here because I trusted them not to ruin my valuable (non-thrift) clothes. So they had two dresses of mine. Typically I don't even look at the finished product until I get home, but this was so obvious that I immediately whipped up the plastic bag.

To my horrified amazement, one of my most spectacular summer dresses had turned from red to magenta! I told the attendant and she said "No. We do not ruin clothes." WELL GUESS WHAT, LADY? YOU JUST DID. She then says "I remember what your dress looked like when you brought it in three weeks ago." It is MY dress. I'm pretty sure I know better than you what my dress looked like.

She informed me that the plant she sends the clothes to will give me $40 for my much-more-expensive-than-that dress. Whoopie.

I'll never get my adorable dress back.  :-(   And I'll never go back to Friends again. (I'm adding a picture of said dress before it was destroyed for your enjoyment.)
