Neighborhood: DowntownI wasn't impressed with the DJ. Played some old-ass music and didn't transition well. Didn't get crowded but music was too loud to talk and too crappy to dance. I got bored.
The patrons were attractive, well- dressed. The drinks were about $5 for a small tumbler filled with ice.
Bathroom was clean and stocked! (important for us girls)

With the closing of Foundation I did wonder what would fill the void in that big space. Now the wondering is over with Beso Cantina. I went on their soft open and had a blast. Good DJ, beautiful people, and plenty of bartenders.
There is an upstairs seating area and another bar. (Which when you first enter you think the bar is really busy and you will have to wait awhile.. Just go upstairs..) Great place to have a conversation and look over the downstairs crowd and check the scene out.
It was a little weird seeing the DJ booth as soon as you walk in against the wall. You feel like you might cause a record to skip as you walk in..
Other than that, great place to start or end the night as a meet up early or late spot. Plus if the DJ is spinning solid tunes you may want to spend the whole night dancing!
