I have been here for lunch twice, and have been consistently impressed with the quality of the dining experience. People can dismiss this place all they for it being a chain but I have had two great experiences here. Hostess has always been incredibly polite and servers were always friendly and prompt. Of course it's a Bertucci's, and of course all their carb-filled meals are bad for you, and of course you shouldn't be dipping unlimited rolls into a plate of olive oil, but if you're going to go for it, you might as well do it here and get good service.

DO NOT GO IN TO EAT AFTER 9:30PM! Walking in at about 9:35pm and knowing that the restaurant has a 10PM closing time on Tuesday, we specifically asked the Manager if it was OK to order food as we know restaurants start cleaning up a bit early on slow nights. He assured us that we could either have a seat or order take out...our choice....and that they take orders up until 10PM and then we could stay to finish eating even after the 10PM closing time. So with that, we chose to be seated.
The friendly waiter promptly took our food (2 small pizza's) and drink (waters) orders. He delivered the waters and a basket of bread. As soon as that happened we heard and saw (due to the open view of the pizza prep and bake area) a guy slamming pizza trays around. We then realized he was the pizza cook and he was beginning to prepare our food order. He then continued to complain out loud that he wished they would've told him there was a food order coming, he's already finished cleaning, and other various comments that we couldn't fully hear. So with that demonstration of how he was going to approach making our pizzas for us, we chose to leave.
The Manager saw us leaving and came to ask what was wrong, we explained what we heard and saw the pizza cook doing as he was beggining to prepare our pizza. The cook could hear what we were telling the manager and he just stood there, obviously unaware that we had heard and saw everything that he was doing. The Manager, in an effort to try to make good, offered to have the same cook make our pizza's 'to go'. We politely declined...at that point we certainly didn't want that cook preparing ANY food for us!!
So you are cautioned....even if you ask the manager if they are still making food...look carefully into the kitchen. If they have started clean-up...you best go to another restaurant.
We have eaten at this Bertucci's on several occasions in the past...but no more.
From their web site...with my additional comment: "To us, our guests are like family, and we treat each one just the way we'd like to be treated - with open arms, warm smiles, and delicious food.....unless you place an order after 9:30pm." -

Honestly, for a chain, this about as good as it gets for me. ESPECIALLY at this location!!!
It is small looking from the outside, but has a decent amount of seating in a cozy atmosphere. We were told there was going to be a 15-20 minute wait (it was Friday night at like 7:30). We were seated in a booth about 10 minutes later. 1 star.
The waiter came over in about 2-3 minutes and apologized and asked if we would like to make our complete order, I love getting the ordering out of the way first!. 2 stars.
He brought my drink and my boyfriends beer and some HOT rolls with their Olive Oil dipping sauce. OMG, delish! 3 stars.
About 5-7 minutes after getting the bread, our meals were already out, fastest service, EVER! 4 stars.
Our food was hot and delicious, I had the balsamic glazed chicken breasts with string beans and mashed potatoes and the BF had an entire Solano Pizza to himself, the large, not individual size. Everything we had was perfect, couldn't have asked for a better meal from there. 5 stars.
Bonus, our waiter was so nice and friendly, he was very attentive, and I could see the manager making rounds around the place asking people about their meals. I love to see that! -

Really cute for a Bertucci's. Went here for lunch and was not disappointed. Yes, I'm biased and I love Bertucci's. I'm salivating right now just thinking about the hot rolls dipped in olive oil. But at lunch the rolls come with unlimited salad, and they make perfect mini pizzas that are "menucci" sized and they're delicious.
The service was friendly and the waitress was great about refilling my water glass. This location has crazy high ceilings but is still cozy inside. -

only been here once. but i love how they give little doughs for kids to play with.. kept my son occupied. Good pizza, fairly nice fresh ingridients, and portions are pretty big. what i love most really is their bread!! yum yum! fresh and hot. it reminded me of bread my family would have every morning when i was little called pandesal.
soooo good and addicting. -

This location is probably the only location my boyfriend and I ever go to! The service is always great. The food is always on time and hot. I love my Bertucci's passport! I'm savoring their delicious rolls with the garlic oil as I type this. Ahhh....

Ok, I know this is a chain restaurant. BUT, the food is delicious, especially the pizzas, which are great - lots of varieties. From their other dishes, one of my faves is the eggplant parma. Portions are very large and filling, perfect for when you are just plain hungry. Not such a big fan of their pasta dishes, best to stick to the other stuff. Possibly the greatest thing about the restaurants - the fresh, soft rolls you get before your meal along with the olive oil with spices - yum! Downside - I'm not a huge fan of lots of loud kids. They seem to be omnipresent at every location (understandably so).

Yeah, a fair-sized chain, but very good food and very good service, at least at this location. Our waitress in Norwood was Carol or Caroline

yuck. Why waste your money and go here? Plenty of other better places to go. (hint - the new pizza place at Patriot Place). I just don't get this place and am always VERY underwhelmed.
I will say that the staff and service is very good, on the one positive note I can make. -

Not so bad for cookie cutter Itallian cusine. Alfredo- Very good. Antipasti- all are very good. pizza- very good. prices: a little high for the quality of ingredients. Vino: don't bother too much, stick to the cheapo stuff. The careless selection of run of the mill, and over priced wine will have your head spinning. Takeout is the best way to go here. Great pizza joint, standard to fair for entrees. I like much here though!!! Will always try new things here. Little high in price for ingredients used. Only gripe.
