Review from Karen F.
Went here for a very nice linner (that's half way between lunch and dinner) at about 4 PM on a rainy Sunday.
Since the lunch specials end at 3 PM, we ordered off the regular menu. DH had a spokie pizza which he enjoyed and I got the dinner portion (enormous - took 2/3 of it home!) of chicken picatta, no capers.
Very good.
Quite good for a chain.
Really.
Excellent service as well (the place was dead from it being 4 PM on a rainy Sunday).Listed in: Flam's take on Pizza., Flam's Faux-talian

Not bad for a chain. My 3 year old daughter likes to watch the "pizza man" make pizza - so she, of… Read more »

Here is what Bertucci's guarantees to provide: freshly baked pizza or bread in generous portion.
I really liked warm freshly baked bread so I didn't get pizza since it will be another shape of bread with toppings..
- Eggplant parma was made of baked non-breaded eggplant. A bit different from typical eggplant parmasan.. but it comes with almost full serving size of pasta.
- Artichoke dip was not impressive...
Service was good!
I should return to try pizza next time!

Love Bertucci's Pizza.
If you ever go to this location to eat ask to be served by Jeff French. The guy knows what he's doing and deserved a generous tip from me. I recommend everyone else doing the same! -

We had a really nice lunch at Bertucci's today. I got the Portofino pizza - sundried tomatoes, diced tomatoes, spinach, goat cheese, and some fresh tomato sauce - it was delicious! My friend picked some ingredients for her calzone, and our other friend got the eggplant panini. All of our food was delicious, and I think the best part is the warm bread and olive oil that they bring out while you wait for your food! The olive oil has garlic and some spices that make it really different from the ordinary oil that you usually receive at restaurants. They also bring salad for the table with every meal, so I think the value is really good for the amount of food that they bring you.
The place was packed as well, so we had to wait just a few minutes but got a nice booth in the back of the restaurant. Parking is sometimes a little challenging, but I've always been able to find a spot.
We had a great experience and I will definitely be back. -

Not really impressed with this one at all. I have dined here many times in the past. The most recent visit was not a good one. First, it took at least 20 minutes for the drinks to be delivered to the table.
I am really tired of restaurants doing this; when I sit down and you take my drink order, it better be to me in less than 5 minutes. Do not tell me some junk like the bar tender is busy or something like that. If your resturant cannot handle serving customers in a timely fashion, stop seating people; duh, not a hard concept.
When our food arrived, half of the dishes were cold to the touch, including a pasta dish. It was sent back and arrive back to us incorrectly, and had to go back again. The excuse was they were busy, which they noticeable were not. But, even if they were, stop seating people if you cannot handle the load. -

Just went there over the weekend, definitely one of the best.
The bread roll with garlic dipping sauce is great; Brick oven pizza is nothing like the Pizzahut ones; many other good selections; servers are very friendly, no reservation needed. (We did waited for about 10 minutes to get a seat). -

This place makes AWESOME pizzas!!!
I didnt even know that it was a chain until I got home and was looking up the address. I'm usually biased against chain restaurants but this is clearly an exception.
The Ultimate Bertucci pizza is topped each quarter with a different topping: sweet Italian sausage, meatballs, rosemary ham and grilled chicken. All four slices were delicious.
the spicy sausage soup was also very tasty. I was only disappointed that I was so full after the soup and pizza that I couldnt enjoy more of the fresh baked bread and special dipping sauce.
Decor is very pleasant and clean, service was good, and pricing was actually cheaper than expected for the amount of food I got. -

Blah, you're better off at Olive Garden.

A decent chain, but nothing special. The food is not memorable, but satisfies. When hopping this place gets loud! The pizza oven is a nice touch, but the open kitchen is a drag. If you go, ask for a table far from the kitchen if you want a pleasant dining experience.

Bertucci's Pizza's are amazing, they are all made in a brick oven (hence the name ;-) ) and I don't think I have ever been served one that is not great! All of the food is fresh, so if you decide to go for pasta or a salad you should get a good sized portion of excellent food. I also suggest the ravioli as I have enjoyed it a few times, with a nice cold raspberry ice tea. Of course everyone loves the fresh baked rolls that are given before the food comes, they are so good you could fill up on the rolls before your entree is served!

I've only ever had a calzone here because it's amazing, huge, and the best deal in the house. The bread they give is wonderful too. For a huge chain Italian restaurant, this place is really good. I wish they would reopen one in Center City.
