Yay for gardens! Um I just looked at the website and saw that there is a $7 entry fee but somehow i just walked in and wandered around the garden for free. go me. The plants highlighted aren't exotics, but things that grow well in this climate and while I was there I saw some beautiful day lilies in half a dozen colors, huge hydrangeas and a shady quiet nook of hostas near the pond. It is the kind of place that you're not scared to walk around on the grass and where you can sit on the scattered benches taking in the summer afternoons for hours. check it out!

Total rip-off. Go see the brooklyn botanical gardens instead. Paid $10 each and took about 20 minutes to see everything. The vegetable garden was decent, but most of the veggies were dying or rotting. Definitely wouldn't recommend.
