One of Virginia's beautiful plantations - the home of the Harrison family (as in William Henry & all the Benjamins...one signer of the Declaration of Independence and one president). It is beautiful and has been kept in fantastic shape by the current family of owners.
Tour the house (Susan was a fabulous tour guide...obviously a real history buff) and then relax around the grounds. They are gorgeous. Walk right down to the James River.
Claims to be the site of the first official Thanksgiving.
