5 reviews for Benicia Community Park
The dog park here is absolutely amazing!! Its big, clean and they even have a separate area for smaller dogs.
When I was there, there was only one other dog, but I was told that it is busy in the morning and after 5PM. There's plenty for the dogs to sniff and grass for them to lay on, plus there's trees for shade on those hot summer days.
This is definitely one of the best dog parks on the East Bay.

This park is pretty fat.
A bevy of slides and things to play on
A BBQ area with sliding rack system
A huge grass area with Volleyball nets
On a Summer day you can BBQ, drink, and play nearly any sport since there is so much room here to mess around.
One of the best parks in our area. We call this the Big Slide Park, WHY? Cuz there's a big slide there of course! This park has their own bbqs so you can get your grillin' on, playgrounds for the little ones, volleyball nets, basketball courts, etc. You can call and reserve to get one of the better areas here if you plan to have a party.
I've been coming here for years now, but now a days it just seemed like this best kept secret park has let the secret out and there's alot more folks coming here. We come here to do our annual Easter egg hunt with the family and it's always fun! It was my lil' ones 1st Easter and we were hunting for the plastic eggs...but he seemed more interested in the grass then the eggs. Oh well! Goodtimes at the Big Slide park!!!

my youth was restored after one coast down the "Big Slide". I then proceeded to run, skip, and roll around in the lush, green grass. moments later I found myself playing imaginary baseball on one of the park's many well kept fields. saw a chubby preschooler rockin a pink helmet and was singing a song in gibberish while hanging on a swing. ended the journey with short hike down a hillside covered by wildflowers.
Huge park with a huge slide. Crank equipped BBQ pits so you can lower or raise your meat above the heat. Tons of room for different groups of get togethers with a playground for the kidlets. Volleyball, basketball, baseball, and an open field for whatever else. Restrooms kept clean along with the whole park. The slide isn't as great as "Seward", but its nice and wide for 4 or even 5 by sliding.....
