I luv conveyor belt sushi, it's fun, fast, and well, you get to see so many selections in a matter of minutes.

Now having said that, realize I also enjoy a fine sushi bar and/or sushi made with luv and attention.  So consider this when I say, minus the weird name, this place is very good.

"Zushi" is served here, which means it "sushi" with a Korean flair!  The bonus here is the spicy selections compared to other Kaiten, Japanese run sushi bars, which are hard to find outside of Japan!  Granted I'm still looking for a "real" Kaiten sushi bar ala Japan...hence the 4 Yelp star review....http://www.youtube.com...

Here the "zushi" is served up fine, a nice mix of traditional and the wild-side.  I mean spicy tuna with habanero mayo sauce and sliced apples?  Or if nothing suites your fancy, ask the boss/owner/zushi-master to challenge your taste buds.

We've found the additional "hot" dishes, i.e. Udon, Tonkatsu and veggie selections to be very tasty and a nice touch for our oldest is a veg-head.  Starch-boy, our son, likes the tonkatsu for the crispness and my dad likes the Udon serving size compared to Blue C.  My mom likes the yakisoba dishes, were you choose the protein, beef, pork, chicken or tofu.

While true sushi snobs turn their noses up to this style of sushi place, I'm good with it!

Priced right, great selections, to me it's worth the drive from Shoreline to dine here...yum-o!

This kaiten sushi place just opened a few months ago in the Best Buy strip mall off I-5, exit 206. It's owned and run by the same Korean folks who have Sushi Yama in Bellevue. So...same owner faces (who all recognized me from Sushi Yama...yay , I'm a regular), but that's about where the resemblance ends.

Lots of mall parking (BIG plus), tastefully decorated (no plate maps on the wall), a quiet TV  to look at if you get bored, and best of all, the sushi quality at Belt is as good or better than Sushi Yama was a few years ago. Some familiar rolls from Sushi Yama, like the strawberry California and the apple rolls, but done better, I think. Much more variety, real tentacle-y calamari (not the frozen-from-bag overchewy breaded things), and new stuff like crab legs and many, many things I had no name for much less had ever seen. Green tea is real leaf-and-twig stuff that you have to strain through your front teeth; I kind of like that. Rolls were wrapped tightly and it was all good--I don't think I tried anything I didn't like.

The plate colors are different, and I didn't note the pricing. Sinae said their prices had gone down from Sushi Yama, but I know I paid a lot more for my usual plate stack. So take that however you want to. Maybe I just pigged out this time ;-).

Seating capacity is about the same or a bit more than Sushi Yama; I think there were three booths and the rest were counter. Oh and get this--double conveyor belt! So if nothing good is going by on the outer  belt, you can reach over to the inner one.

This place is definitely worth the trek north from Seattle. I live in Marysville now, though, so I'm very glad to see the Sushi Yama family up here.

Really good food.  Double belted sushi bar that has a large selection.  Plates are color coded and you pay by the plate.  They also have a menu, but I never ordered from it.  Pretty cheap.  Love their food.  Nothing exotic, but good nonetheless.
