We stayed there last Valentine's weekend.  Our room had a perfect view of the Dallas skyline.  The accommodations inside the room were minimal, but it's not designed for being in for more than sleeping, showering, and ending the day.  If the weather's nice, our room (and several others) had an adjoining patio area that was screened off against bugs, but allowed you to enjoy the evening.

It also means that your room isn't wall-to-wall with the next room.  Plan your wedding, prom, engagement, 3rd date, appropriately.

There are plenty of raves about the bar, but I will add this.  Small, good drinks, pricy (but what hotel bar isn't), and easy to find your own space and enjoy each other's company.  We bellied up to the bar at one point and chatted with some of the staff.  They were all sweet and fun and took a couple of pictures that have some "if you believe the SyFy channel shows, then these are ghosts" images on them.  So that was very cool.

The next door cafe, which I believe is now called "Smoke", was delicious.

We had a lovely evening and hated leaving to go home.
If the bar isn't open late enough for you, we found Jack's Back Yard to be a cheap cheap cab ride away.

There are specials, from time to time, so get on their mailing list to see them.  Otherwise, rooms are in the mid-100's and up up up from there.  There is a $500-600 a night suite there too.

I really like the place here. Who knew a hotel bar could be so cool? The hotel itself reminds me of something you'd find in the Hollywood hills so the bar seems like it has a sort of Rat Pack feel to it. My friend, Francesca L said it has the best of the Dallas skyline, what there is of it, (her words, not mine.) Our waitress was okay, she was nice enough but everything felt rushed-I know it was close to closing time but it just left the wrong impression with me.

She showed up a few times, asked if we wanted anything and then left if no one spoke up right away. We had a large group and she dropped off the check but it wasn't split and come to think of it, didn't ask how we wanted the check. If I come to Dallas again I would like to stay here and sit at the bar a bit.

The Belmont Bar is like sitting out on your backyard patio under the stars with a big group of your coolest, closest friends.....except your backyard has hip and trendy waiters at your beck n' call AND boats a kickass view of the beautiful Dallas skyline.

The drinks came quickly but were way below my expectations.  My amaretto sour was way too sour, and the boyfriend's mojito tasted more like lemonade that had been strained with maybe one mint leaf. At the recommend of our waiter we shared the Belmontini ($12!) which ended up being the only drink I could stand drinking, even though it still had way too much going on.

Sounds bad so far, but drinks aside, it was well worth the money. In fact, to chill in what might be one of the most relaxed atmospheres I've experienced in Dallas, I would have paid more (well...the boy paid..but you know what I mean).  The patio had several tables as well as benches with pillows...all were comfortable. The lighting was impeccable...each table was dotted with votives to keep the vibe dim and relaxed. If it weren't for the amazing view of the skyline I would have thought I was at an oceanside location because it felt THAT much like a vacation.

We didn't try the food, but a really cool menu in the style of a college scranton was offered with what looked to be some pretty tasty grub.
Our waiter was personable and neat, quick and not overbearing.  He says it gets busier later into the night (we were there at 8ish), but I really enjoyed resting comfortably with the smaller crowd.
Highly recommended for a date, or a calm night with some close friends.

Myself and three business associates stayed in Dallas at this hotel for almost two weeks. We already were expecting a fantastic view of downtown Dallas - which btw is spectacular and worth the price of the stay alone! - What we didn't anticipate was that ALL of the staff without exception treated us like royalty. We stay in hundreds of hotels around the world and we can all say that this was a refreshing change from the stiff and stuffy chains that just want your money and wear a fake smile. There's nothing false or fake about the Belmont, it's exceptional.

As a tip, take a dip in the beautiful pool at night and admire the incredible view of downtown Dallas... bliss!

Thumbs up for this renovation.  Great patio for drinks, and best view of downtown from the pool area.  they have many functions here, live music, movies etc.
I spent a getaway night here once and thought it was not luxurious, but cute.  Another friend complained that it was noisy, because of the cafe and music.

The food has recently changed, but it used to be quit good for a nosh with wine.
I just like to hang out here.

I'll admit that when I saw the photos of The Belmont on their website, I thought the hotel was going to be a little swankier.  Upon check-in you can tell that the Belmont is definitely older and has been restored to the best it could be.  Don't get me wrong, it's still a very cute place.

We stayed in a room that was two-stories.  The furniture through out the place was sleek and modern, but it seemed a little on the cheaper side.  Still cute, though.

The pool area is awesome!  There is a plush green lawn that you can lay out on, but there are also plenty of lounge chairs as well.  Laying out or swimming in the pool and being able to look at the Dallas Skyline is one of the coolest things.

After a day of drinking by the pool, we headed to BarBelmont, which was just up the driveway from where our room was.  BarBelmont is fun, and you also have the benefit of sitting on their patio and seeing the Dallas Skyline.  We had some cocktails, and left when the bar closed at midnight.  On the way back to our room we noticed that several people were out on their patios of their hotel rooms, and we all ended up hanging out together for a bit.

Even if you don't stay at the hotel, definitely check out the bar.  They have a breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner menu.  Their wine list and beer list are short, but there are plenty of great choices to choose from.  Of course don't forget the Belmontini.  Yum!

The Belmont is a hope, skip and a jump away from downtown Dallas, but there's something about the charm of this hotel that make you feel like you have escaped away from the metroplex.  It's just the views of the skyline that remind you where you really are.

Just got back from Dallas and a trip to this hotel.  booked it because it claims to be the sister to San Jose in Austin. San Jose great.  Belmont BAD.  Took forever getting a drink in the bar, (waited ten minutes and then got up and asked for help, twice on a nite when there were tables open. Then when asked nicely got grumpy waitress.) Walls paper thin, decor shabby, nothing out there but the view which is amazing but don't think the hotel is worth it.
This has possibilities but they aren't there yet.
Would NOT recommend.

Okay, I have to say this is my new favorite place, (the bar of course, haven't stayed at the hotel).  I love the Belmontini, but I've decided the BEST drink in the world is served here, trust me, I've had lots of drinks, is the Mojotini. The staff is always so friendly, love the view of Downtown Dallas.  All the stress in my life just goes away when I go there. It's like taking a little vacation just miles from home.  I would not have even known about this little gem had it not been for this website, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU YELP!

I just stayed here this past weekend.  The hotel was recommended to me by a friend.  It is an older hotel that has been renovated.  The room was very utilitarian and it had a great little screened patio connected to it with a bench and two stairs.  Great place to hang out.
The pool was excellent and the bartender used a heavy pour which was appreciated.  The pool has a beautiful green lawn with views of the skyline.  They need more lounge chairs though.  The day I was at the pool, there were four, and many more people than that were at the pool.
The restaurant is under construction and I plan on going there next time I am in Dallas.  The bar was hip and trendy.  It was nice to not have to drive.  It is located in a convenient location just off 30 so you can get anywhere very quickly.

The Belmont is a wonderful quaint hotel.  The bar is great and has one of the best views in Dallas.  The hipster staff doesn't have that too cool for school attitude, but the southern politeness that makes ya feel right at home.  OC is definitely a little paradise in the DFW area.  I heart the Belmont.

Fun place that I will definitely visit when I'm in Dallas. Food was nothing to write home about, but nothing to complain about either. Would like to stay overnight, and would highly recommend it for visitors. I receive emails from them notifying me of things like movie night and live music. I am really gonna have to get a babysitter and enjoy a night staying here. I looked at their rooms on-line and they are very clean/modern. My favorite was the huge round above ground tub-beautiful. Now I don't know this is true, but Ive heard in the month of August certain rooms are priced according to the weather-eg. if its 103 degrees out, you pay $103... Sounds good to me, but like I said I cant confirm this.....

I just got back from drinks and dessert at the Belmont Bar. Anyone who has spent anytime in Austin, would recognize the similarities between Belmont and Hotel San Jose. It turns out they are run by the same management company.

If I lived in Dallas this would be a regular haunt of mine. Off the beaten path, in fact, when my parents arrived to meet up with me and my sisters, they asked us how on earth we found this place. Yelp, of course!

Being located right by Cliff's Cafe, you are able to order some food items. Considering we just ate dinner, we opted for a glass of wine and dessert. Several wines on the list and I thought they were all reasonably priced. My Creme Brulee hit the spot and the Pinot Noir warmed me up enough to forget about the unusually cool weather we were experiencing.

According to the poster in the restroom, it looks like they host a live music series on Thursday nights out by the pool. Now I just have to figure out how to get back here during the week!

The BarBelmont  is cool.  The place has a nice ritzy style to it without being overly pretentious.

The view is sensational.   And the atmosphere is relaxed.  The bartenders and waiters were cool.  The Belmontinis alone are worth the drive through Oak Cliff to get to this place.

The food is ok and their selections did not seem too pricey.

I enjoyed the UYE game night.  I dont mind the candles they are sweet & romantic.

And, yes, I understand black outs are inconvenient but they could happen anywhere.

I dont get frustrated that easily so to me playing wits & wagers in the dark was an adventure.   Then again, my friend was lucky or smart enough to pay the bill before the lights went out so we got to leave before anybody else did.

yeah, thats how I roll.  Dont hate.  ;)

BANG! BANG!  they shot me down.  BANG BANG, i hit the ground.  Bang bang...

Kill bill....yes, i can see that.     i can see this place reminding me of the final scenes in kill bill..

but....what it really reminds me of is the victory hotel in LA Confidential, boyo!

retro no-tell hotel swank.   crib like a villa vacation in manilla....rhyme spilla..

-oop  i started channelling will smith just then.   sorry.  but not really: i like will.   and i like this place:  the spacing.   the flooring.   the clientelle, the inobtrusive wait staff.   the valets....run like madmen to get your car - they're not joking around.

and of course....the open-air view.    really, ANY view is good in this town.

do yourself a favor and bring your entourage to this place.  like their valets,  run, dont walk to the Belmont.

bang bang.

What the dilly-o?  (This review is for the bar section only)

When I hear the word "bar", I expect a bigger cozier place I can lounge around in with ample seating and good music.  I went there for a game night and we could not find enough seating for a party of 8. The tables are built for roughly 4/5 people, so it was a bit awkward.  The seats were not that plush either.

There was also only 1 small tv with the comfiest couch inexplicably underneath the tv?  The bar area is small and opens up to a somewhat larger lounge area.  Each table had a candle inside a slender glass - easy to knock over and start a fire?

the evening was highlited with a power outage.  Luckily those candles were there!  It took great care not to knock them over though.  I gave up and in frustration and just left. There are better venues to meet people, better bars, and better places to hangout.  I'd recommend it for people that can withstand blackouts though :)

The Bar Belmont at the Belmont Hotel is laid back and cool. It has one of the greatest views of downtown if you sit on the patio.  The prices are good and the food is even better.  We like to sit on the patio and enjoy a mojtini which is a mix between a martini and a mojito.  It is worth the short drive to visit this bar.

To the manager at the Belmont Bar: Dude... get ye some decent wait staff. Can you imagine how great this place would be with some professional acting non-22 year old kids with decent attitudes?

I brought my parents on Friday night to watch the sunset. It took us 20 minutes to get our first drinks. After those were finished, we sat there with empty glasses for another 20 minutes. We were never asked if we wanted another round. THEN It took us over 10 minutes to pay and get the heckout. I really really really like this place (really!). Just imagine how great it would be with professional wait staff!

We stayed here a couple weeks ago when we decided to make a last-minute pilgrimage to the State Fair. It seemed cool online, and they even had a special hotel package for the fair that included tickets and a shuttle service.

The Belmont is retro 50s/60s at its finest. Mod (but clean) decor with a certain je ne sais quoi old-school appeal. We stayed in one of the little bungalows off the main building, complete with our own screened-in patio. Our first room had a window problem: when we went to close our door, the entire window popped out! Sans breakage, thank God.

So we changed rooms. The walls are paper-thin; as I tossed and turned in bed at 6 a.m. I felt like I was showering with my neighbor, 15 feet across the room. The rooms seemed slightly shabby, but you get what you pay for.

We ambled over to BarBelmont for some cheap (and, might I add, potent) Belmontinis. The drinks were just as fabulous as our view: the downtown Dallas skyline, shimmering and full of light. Service was admittedly a little slow, but it was packed. We were in no hurry so it was irrelevant.

We decided to sleep off the alcohol, check out and then do a late breakfast at Cliff Cafe (as advertised in the pamphlet in our room). Turns out they no longer do an all-day breakfast. The pamphlet in our room was wrong, our server said.

Minus one star right there. I don't like being misinformed, especially when it comes to food. But my mozzarella and tomato salad was good, and my boyfriend liked his grilled chicken and veggies. But I wanted pancakes, damnit!

All in all, the Web site makes The Belmont look a lot nicer than it is. But it's cheap, with a valiant effort at vintage decor and a bar worth visiting even if you're not a hotel guest. I'd probably stay here again if I decided to do Dallas once more.

As Melody and I were walking into her favorite bar, Belmont Bar, she said to me "I think your husband would kill me if he knew I was taking you to Oak Cliff." A few days later I mentioned to my mother in law (who lives in Dallas) that I had been in Oak Cliff and she let out a big GASP. So I'm guessing this isn't the best of neighborhoods? You would never know based on this gorgeous villa like boutique hotel...

I didn't get to check out the rooms at the hotel, but I made myself quite comfortable along with 10 or so other yelpers (Dallas yelpers- you rock!) at the Belmont Bar for happy hour.  Live music, drink specials our, the most perfect view of the Dallas skyline and a delicious looking martini menu (belmonti anyone?).  The threat of a bad neighborhood won't keep me away from this gem...

Am sitting right now at the Belmont in Dallas.  As this is my first visit to Texas, I can't tell you what a gre first stop this is.  They've really made the most of what they have.  And it looks good.  The rooms are minimalist, but comfortable.  The outdoor bar had good martinis and an amazing view of downtown.

It's not in the busiet of places, but its near the Bishop Arts District where there are some cute shops and good restaurants.

BarBelmont was not what I was expecting.  I was thinking it was going to be one of those hotels with the posh stuffy bar that I would want to leave after 1 drink (yeah, like that ever happens).  Actually, the funny thing is that before I got there I told myself "Self, I am only going to have one drink and then leave."  But as soon as I pulled up and the valet guy grabbed my car and I saw this super funky hotel I was pumped.  Then I walked in, met Chris (super bread maker!), and got a Belmontini before joining the other yelpers on the patio.

The patio was the place to be...age range was anywhere from 20s to 60s...cool guy playing acoustic on one end of the patio (however, don't sit in the tables right in front of the musician or you will not be able to hear yourself think), and a chill vibe.  The view was indeed great, but was kind of blocked by the music guy so I didn't really even notice it.  But I did notice my empty glass...that Belmontini was phenomenal...did I break my promise to myself and get another?  YOU KNOW IT!  I want to come back here again and have a taxi driver bring me this time...so I can have as many Belmontinis as I want!

I LOVE the Belmont in all its Art Deco glory!  This building has been here quite awhile and the restoration is awesome!  The Art Deco was restored to its original state while the interior furnishings and finishes are mid-century modern/eclectic.  Okay, that's enough of my architecure schpill for the day...

My favorite memory of the Belmont is accompanying my rocker friends here for a CD photo shoot.  What could be better?  The hotel gave the band one of the split-level bungalow style rooms for styling, restroom breaks, and resting.  The room was perfect!  It was kinda like a home away from home!  And, they have rocking chairs on the front porch!  Awesome!

The photoshoot was down by the pool, which has the most amazing view of the Dallas skyline!  You completely forget you're in the heart of Oak Cliff.  (Another friend of mine had a wedding reception here!)

After the shoot, we all headed down to the hotel bar for drinks on the patio...oh so many choices...do I want to sit on the patio or in the cute little loungy area?!?!  PATIO!  This patio was awesome for a more chillaxin type of thing.

And, don't forget to pop on over to the Cliff Cafe next door.  It makes for a great brunch in a cool atmosphere!

Hotel Belmont's one of my favorite well kept secrets in Dallas!

I woke up in Culver City at roughly 4:45 a.m. Friday morning.  Bryan dropped my tired ass off at LAX, where I hopped on a flight to Houston.  I then transferred onto a 20 seat puddle-jumper, and 12 hours after it all began I found myself overlooking the Dallas skyline sipping on a chilled glass of Jameson's.  I wanted a beer to go with it...

"Hey waiter, can I get a Shiner back?"

"You mean a Shiner Bock"

"Yeah, a Shiner Bock back?"

"............"

And that's how my 72 hour Texas whirlwind began.  With an unintentionally bad joke.  This bar was totally aces though.  Nice patio.  Great drinks...though Taryn's Belmontini was a little (a lot) too sweet for my tastes.

I'd come back to stay the night if I ever needed an Airport-close hotel in Dallas.  The grounds were super-cute and they had an appealing pool area too.

my boyfriend and i drove up from austin to see ac/dc and checked into the belmont. i found a $99 room rate online and it was close to the concert venue.

when we checked in the girl at the counter offered to upgrade us for $30 to a suite with a skyline view and a soaking tub.

it was awesome! great view and a HUGE tub.

we had dinner at the cliff restaurant (delicious) and had time when we returned from the show to hang out and have a beer in the bar before last call.

the next morning we woke up and i had to make time to use the soaking tub and all of the amazing bath products (and candles!) that came in the suite. also, i'm a very tall girl, it's rare that there is a tub that fits. have to grab every opportunity.

then we went and fed our hangovers at the cliff again for breakfast and left very happy.

if i ever make it back to dallas, i would definitely stay again.

TIP: the neighborhood isn't the best and i hear that it is in a dry part of the city. so if you are going to want to have some adult beverages in your room later in the evening, buy them early so you're not out wandering looking for booze. we brought a little flexible cooler and iced our beers down and it was perfect.

What a great place to stay! I love the history and the updated 'retro/modern' style plus the staff are wonderfully helpful and friendly. We stayed there with our large extended family  (in fact, we may have taken over many of the rooms during our 2-day stay) and the folks at The Belmont accomodated every need, including offering to buy one person a soda in the middle of the night (as she didn't want to walk around solo). They rooms were fun and comfortable. The Lather bath products (thyme & mint) were fab. The pool area - beautiful - and fun for kids & grown-ups alike. We ate at the cafe next door -- wonderful food (I recommend the chicken friend steak). I'd definitely stay at the Belmont again!

Belmont is just cool.  It's cool and there is nothing like it left in Dallas.  It's a 1946 motor court hotel which was left to it's own devices over the years.  Thankfully, due to this neglect, the place was never demolished or changed much.   It was designed by Charles Dilbeck (google that and check out his cool mid-century designs) and when it was restored, they paid attention to his vision.  That is just one of the things I love about this place.  Not to mention, the fabulous views of downtown, the patio, BarBelmont, the pool and health club.  The Cliff restaurant is good and just a small walk down the hill.  The neighborhood is up and coming and is just a hop skip and a jump from Kessler Park and the Bishop Arts District.  This is where I go stay when I want to feel like I'm out of town when I'm not...the ultimate staycation location.

BarBelmont is my favorite place to meet friends for a drink--no contest. It's pleasant,  pretty, lively, in the hood, has that great view, the patio always feels 10 degrees cooler than the rest of the city...it's just all 'round yippee. I haven't stayed at the hotel but friends who have loved it.

I have been to BarBelmont a few times but neer wrote a review for some reason. (or it may have "disappeared", thanks yelp) Anyway, we had a little UYE Game night which turned out to be great fun. Don't be fooled though, the actual bar has boring games like monopoly and trivial pursuit--fortunately the good stuff was brought by Elizabeth N and Don T :)
I had a couple of hot teas and a burger for a total of $11.91. The burger was pretty good--juicy, came on a nice onion bun, and the fixins were fresh. The waitstaff were all pretty cool. We all were having a good time until the BLACKOUT 2008~
All of a sudden the lights went out in the Belmont and the only thing that the staff could say was "Don't anybody leave!" The blackout really turned out to be no big deal, we played by candlelight and cell phones. I was however, disappointed that no one at the Belmont made any effort to say sorry or say "hey we are working on this" or really anything.
Overall the place is chill and I will probably go back again.

I respectfully disagree when people label this bar as a "hipster" spot. in fact, it's a pretty diverse crowd, in terms of age/subculture. This is one of its strengths, in the sense that pretty much anyone will feel at home on their patio.

One thing i really appreciate is that the designer steered clear of the "hyper luxury" decor which is common in this town - a lot of similar bars in dallas overdo it and become tacky. Instead, the belmont's interiors are well designed but respectful the fact that not everyone wants a flatscreen in the bathroom.

more importantly (for some), the drinks are good and service is great. actually, if i could just indulge in a weird tangent for a second... it reminds me of the mexican hotel suite at the end of kill bill vol.2, where david carradine ends up getting killed. in terms of the atmosphere - a little modern enclave of warm colors, open to the outside. very nice!

Never stayed there, but been to the bar and pool many times. Even so, it's like a mini-vacation outta town just hanging out there, love the architecture and the view right from the bar patio and the pool. The patio can be kinda steamy in the summer, whew. In any case it's awesome and so are the Blackberry mojitos, bit pricey at $9 ea, but it's a treat, drink 'em slow. I'm not sure if they have happy hour. The actual restaurant is closed until September 2009, wonder what that will be next.

Decent hotel right outside of Dallas proper.

First, I would just like to adress Bonnie G.'s rather unfair claims:
they do have wireless (it's free), there is a convinience store across the street if you want a "snack", plus room service, plus a restaurant at the hotel (both are pretty cheap), and a mexican restaurant down the street.  Not only that, but they have a list of local restaurants that deliver to the hotel if you would like.  Not having a car is not a problem.  You can walk to downtown (I did it twice, 25 min. walk max), take a bus (the DART 50 stops right across the street), or a quick and rather cheap cab ride if you're lazy or pressed for time (ran me about $8) to the West End.  Bitch, please.  I'm pretty sure they make it obvious you aren't checking into the Four Seasons when you book your room.

The hotel rooms themselves are not quite to my taste.  I've never had much of a yen for retro-modern, but the bed is comfortable, the amenities aren't bad, and the bar is cool.

The pool is also nice, and laying out in the sun, or swimming with the night view of the city can be rather nice. The walk to the fitness center is a bit annoying, but at least they have one you can use.

If you live in Dallas and you're looking for a place to escape for the weekend without dropping a whole lot of dough, check this place out.  The bar and pool keep things interesting enough, and the set-up of the rooms keeps things nice and private.

Cheap decor. Not what I was expecting after all the hype.
Rooms furnished by IKEA and Target. Since when does that constitute a boutique hotel?

I'm getting a little tired of everyone claiming to be boutique. There needs to be some sort of a boutique hotel counsel to regulate that term.

Underwhelmed!

THIS is the spot to stay if you come to Dallas. Hell, this is the spot to hang if you live in Dallas. No better view, no better staff, not better experience . . . Belmont is a gem in a sea of anguish and antiquity.

Okay, I went too far . . . it's cool. It's affordable, as far as boutique hotels go, and it's a hell of a scene.

I love this place.

A bastion of hipster heaven.  But I know several major law firms held events here over the summer, so beware: the yuppies are coming! the yuppies are coming!

People tout the view of the Dallas skyline.  But Scott pointed out the view wasn't THAT great.  I had to rebut with the fact that there were maybe 1-2 other places in town that even HAD a view of downtown, so Belmont deserves some kudos there.

Tues is half off Belmontinis. Wed is half off food.  Our brie/green apple quesadilla was ok.  Our turkey hummus sandwich was worthy.

The Belmontinis and patio are nice and a great amplifier for cynicism and existentialism.  If you're in to that kind of drunk conversation.

Love it, love it, love it!!

Belmont is indeed retro-minimalist.  It's a strange little place with great attention to detail and amusing design choices.  The grounds are beautiful.  Everything is freshly painted and seems clean.  The bed's not awe-inspiring, but not bad for a pillow-top.  The free wi-fi is easy (I'm here now).   They have a neat little bar which is busy as can bee.  A stay includes a free continental breakfast with some very good granola.  The rooms are all non-smoking and they will charge you $200 if it smells like smoke when you leave so you'd better behave.   They have a few pet-friendly rooms (for an additional $25). The valet is pretty damned intent on taking your car and carrying your luggage.  This is the most cheerful staff ever, probably because this place just makes people happy.

I love finding places with character when you least expect it, so the Belmont was a real treat. Trekked down for the movies out by the pool but found myself chillin on the patio sipping martinis and watching the Dallas skyline as the sun set. The drink of the evening was the Belmontini, a combination of pomegranate, vodka and champagne. It is half off the $12 price on Tuesday but was well worth the full price with its wonderful flavor and deceiving kick. I did not sample the food menu but it did have a wide array of choice and those around me seemed to be scarfing their dishes with reckless abandon.

I was told that this use to be an old Travel Lodge but I would never have guessed. I really enjoyed the hip, slightly retro, Palm Springs vibe. There is a nice small pool with a grassy area off to the side. Tuesday Movie Night is free. You can bring blankets or use their folding chairs. The film may not be great, but the atmosphere is...and they set up a bar out there if the Belmontinis did not get you buzzed enough.

Definitely worth a visit!

I loved Bar Belmont.  Great view from the patio, it was self-service on the drinks from pretty cool bartenders.  I asked for extra limes in my Grey Goose and soda and I got MANY! Several space heaters for now-chilly fall evenings.  Give it a try!

I can't tell you how glorious it feels to sit down at BarBelmont. Overlooking downtown Dallas, the Bar's view can't be beat.  The service can be slow if it's crowded...but hey the Belmontinis are worth the wait SO glad this is in my hood

It was OK but I expected more.  I received a complementary suite for one night and went there to also see the art exhibit in the lobby with my photography group.  The lobby was nice, the view, the pool, the grounds all good.
The room was kinda funky. It looks like they tore down two rooms and made it into one.  The bedroom had a big deep tub in it - nice, but sorta weird.  Unless of course, you want to have sex in it but the shower area was much better for that!  It was HUGE. I mean it could fit 11 guys in there comfortably, maybe 12.
Either way, I had fun but decided to give my night stay away to a friend (a straight girl and her boyfriend). Allegedly, they DID use the tub in the bedroom - good for her, and him.
I took a couple pictures of the downtown view if you are interested.
