As a huge burger fan, I've gotta say this place is tops. What other place offers you toppings like cajun mayo and garlic mayo as your toppings?
Their choices are also pretty good. Jumbo veggie burgers and veggie dogs, which of course I haven't seen elsewhere. There's also their buffalo chicken sandwich and they offer waffle fries and sweet potato fries!
Kopp's and other burger joints don't offer the same variety. You also get a better value for your money. You get more burger than Five Guys down the street for less money. Plus, you can throw in a drink and a side for the same price. Which is good for the college student. My girlfriend and I both agree, the meat here is better than Kopp's. I'm definitely a fan.
I've been told by some people that they have awesome burgers, but I find them to be average at best. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger from them once and found out that the piece of bacon inside was really tiny. Their fish and chicken burgers are really nothing to write home about either, but they make some decent fries and milkshakes and their prices are good.
The ABSOLUTE WORST HAMBURGER I HAVE EVER EATEN...period!
If you want that deliciously-bad-for-you butter burger, fries and shake this is the place to go. When people visit and expect that midwest meat and dairy thing, I take them here. Better than Kopp's.
