9 reviews for Bella Rose
Check your sobe attitude at the door because the lovely Bella rose won't have it. Located on 16th right before Washington. This hard to spot dance club has everything you'd want in a night out with the friends minus the drama and sobe prices.
I was invited to a album release party and decided to give the place a chance. Now there are no huge window signs or light up marquees here just the name of the club on the doors so do be on the look out. I heard their normal Sunday nite party is party fun but since I'm here for a release party I'll have to come back next week. The decor is well I can't describe it. You'd have to see it to believe it. From a disco ball that emits clouds of smoke to the beautiful paintings on the wall it's simple yet extravagant.
I finally got around to checking out the Black Sunday party at Bella Rose a little while back. The official 'host' of the party was interesting. Some guy with a cane, top hat, and a jet black mustache. Mostly a local crowd, the tunes were good; just a little too loud and short. DJ found it incumbent to switch songs every 45 seconds. It's becoming a trend among S. Beach DJ's. Trend or not, it's pretty annoying.
Other than that we all had a good time and would consider checking it out again.
Bella proves you can keep it simple and still be AWESOME!
No, there are no cliche rude bouncers here, no smoke and mirrors, no fancy lights, and shmancy decor. There is however, a definite ATTITUDE, luckily it's a cool, have fun, open minded, interesting attitude that you'll love.
Yes, this place tends to be more of where you trip the late night fantastic, not so much where you begin the night. You might spot plenty of Miami's most well known resident hipsters here, (especially during their infamous Black Sunday parties) but that's the beauty of Bella Rose. It's an anything goes, come one, come all, have fun, and make no excuses or apologies kind of place, where you've come to do just what you're supposed to do at a club and that is: forget the outside world and focus on a good time.
This club is part of the Rakontur family, reminding us all that Alfred Spellman's got the Midas touch.
This place opens crazy late. Like midnight/1 am. Maybe Im just not used to that, but I was happy it was open after numerous karaoke at the Liquor Lounge down the street. This place was pretty fun. Good DJ, if my feet weren't killing me from walking in heels I would have been on the dance floor without a doubt. Somehow drinks magically appeared in my hand so I have no comment on the prices here, but over all, a pretty cool place.
There is NO sign out front, so make sure to pay attention when looking for it.
Oh, and I took a star away cause they dont serve wine, and I like wine. A lot.
On recommendation, we ended up at Bella Rose on Sunday night. The bouncer was high spirited, and friendly, and I got the same feel from the bartenders. The DJ rocked it out... old school, pop, and hip hop mashups done up Awesome style with a huge side of SWEETNESS!!
The hipster crowd showed off some serious style and dancing effort, and the feeling was generally upbeat and light hearted. Funfunfun. A bit heavy on the fog machine though! :) At one point the music cut off, and they announced 10 free shots, first come first serve. Good job, managment!! The bartender serving us was throwing napkins in the air like confetti... haha.
Awesome little boutique bar/lounge!
If Tim Burton had his way, this place looks and feels like a room in Oscar Wilde's house. Having said that, this place is pretty good. Black Sundays are crazy good, also.
i've been here a couple times on sundays and always enjoy myslef. the DJ is a genius on the turntables (well....Mac book, anyway) playing awesome remixes of every genre you can think of. the turnout is miami's usual hipsters and artsy-farsty folk. then you have me, the anti-hipster smack dab in the middle having an awesome time with the rest of them.
small space, setup could use a little more character
very nondescript entrance
known as a late night place, so can be empty
locals mostly, because it would be hard to stumble upon this place (no promoting)
mainstream hiphop music, DJ was pretty good
no cover, like they say, "no posers, no wristbands, no table minimums, no paid celebrity hosts" -- supposed to be the anti-south beach
I love this fun little spot! It's a walk in spot that is laid back but the partying is almost always on full force. Sunday nights are the best nights to go. I do have to admit that there's been a few nights like on a Friday or Saturday and it's totally dead which is a shock because a place like this should never be empty. If there's one night you have to go to, it's Sunday. I wouldn't bank on using my good name on any other night but I'm hoping that they get bigger n' better crowds on those nights because I really dig this place.
