Now I have been to Bella Napoli 3 times. The first was a pre-fixed menu. I went with a large group of around 30. Great service, fast service, and food was fabulous. 8 of us ordered our own dishes but did more like family style and we each tried all the dishes. Even dishes I would not ever order myself were very tasty and good.
I already went into detail about my 2nd trip in my previous post.
on my 3rd trip, it ended up just like the previous two. The food was fabulous and so good. Nothing nicer I could do than write a great review and hopefully give some credit to a place that surely deserves a second chance from other reviewers on here that didn't have a good experience.1 Previous Review: Show all »

This year I will be celebrating Christmas with food poisoning. I came here for a Christmas Eve dinner of over 20 people, and I was shocked by how lousy the food was. When you first enter the restaurant, you notice that it is fancy looking, but who cares? We were handed a three course, very limited, pre-fixed menu for the Chritstmas Eve special. Absolutely nothing impressed me and nothing seemed original. The food was grossly overpriced and ended up being around 50 a plate. I decided to go with a "seafood salad" which sounded interesting at the time. It was a plate of some wet, unseasoned seafood consisting of soggy calamari, one piece of shrimp, and some mushrooms. It was terrible. The next dish was a basic salad doused in oil and vinegar. They could have at least used high quality lettuce, but chose white ice burg. Again, not impressed. For the main course: I picked the Linguine seafood plate, already being too sick of their seafood to really want anything else. This dish was okay, but again, not seasoned enough. How can a pasta dish with this much variety of seafood need more seasoning? After grazing over the main course, I was eager to get out of there. Once I got home, I tried to go to sleep, but was awoken by violent stomach cramps and nausea, which got worse throughout the night. I won't go into anymore detail, but needless to say, I will never go back.

The Pasta Fagioli and Stracciatella alla Romana were AWESOME!!!! I'm a vegetarian but had to try the Stracciatella even though it was made with chicken broth- both were spot on! My hubby had a chicken cutlet and he raved about it!!! I've eatin' here a few times and thought that after today, "I have to go home and review it!!!".... This restaurant is a very good one!!!!

Wow! That's all I can say. A large restaurant, with several rooms, all with a nice decor. We went for an early Sunday lunch and were seated in the bar area (which was perfect for a Saturday lunch since the bar was empty). The room filled up quickly and one of the other rooms was being used for a wedding shower.
We tried this place for the first time with my in-laws to celebrate my wife's birthday and we were all blown away by the quality of each of our dishes. Of course we started with the fried calamari, which was satisfactory but nothing special. I had the Spaghetti with clams, mussels, and scungilli in a nice light red sauce. Fantastic! My wife had the Red Snapper in a marinara sauce with mussels and clams and she loved it. My father-in-law had a double cut veal chop which was a special and it was humungous. And my mother-in-law had the veal rollatini. I would recommend any one of these meals - all were fantastic.
Only drawback is that they made us valet the car. I like having the option to valet but also have the self-parking available as well. I hate being forced to valet. I guess you can park on the street if you really wanted to..... -

My father in-law recommended this place. We had a pleasant dinner of italian favorites. The waitress was very nice, the food was good - came out quick and hot - and reasonably priced. Would return.
Returned - they have a pre-fix on certain nights of the week. The food was still excellent and plentiful. There was no way I could even attempt to finish the large portions associated with this VERY reasonably priced pre-fix. Again - looking forward to returning. -

Came here for lunch with 2 colleagues. The service was attentive. I ordered the veal marsala and mushrooms -- it was delicious. I ate every bite because the sauce was so great! For dessert, we all ordered the same thing -- the tartufo! SO good -- one of the best desserts I've ever had and I usually don't eat dessert!

Bella Napoli is an extremely nice Italian restaraunt to go to for a good meal. As soon as you get there, you'll notice that you have to valet park -- not optional. It's a bit of a bummer, but not that serious...at least you can get out quick and go inside and see this lovely place.
Decor is very nice, and the service is great. It's decorated in old-school Italian artifacts, and has a very relaxing enviornment. The food is also delicious and comes out pretty quick. Since it's an Italian-dominated staff, the waiters will have no problem in engaging in Italian talk with you or whoever your guest is...it's a great tactic for forming rappour with the guests and customers. Very nice staff...
I'm a big dessert guy, and they have one of the best desserts I've come across. It's a sorbet (lemon or orange), but it's IN THE FRUIT of whichever you choose. So you receive an actual orange with the top sliced off, filled with orange sorbet -- it's a great way to end a meal and I highly recommend it.
Overall, great place and I have no complaints at all. -

My husband, three year daughter and I celebrated our wedding anniversRy there last night. At first, the waiter tried to seat us in the back. Something I'm used to when you enter a beautiful restaurant with a child. Trusting my daughter to sit attentively, I asked to be moved and they obliged willing. The waiter, Marco was more then polite, attentive and friendly. At one point even began playing with our daughter with her princess dolls! Another waitress, Antoniette, gladly took a picture of us and was happy to show my husband the party room. I had attended two showers there recently and wanted him to see how classy the room was.
I ordered Chilean sea bass. It was prepared with diced tomatoes and a lite cream sauce on top of a bed of sauteed spinach with mashed potatoes. It was the best sea bass I'd ever eaten!! It was perfectly cooked, seasoned and presented. The potatoes tasted homemade and the portion was large. The pomegranate martini was tasty and so good I could have had several! My husband had chicken scarpiello....he thought it was one of the tasty dishes he's eaten. That's his favorite dish. He orders it everywhere we go. Even my daughter approved of the tortellini soup as she never refused a spoonful in between retelling snow white with her figurines. For dessert we got cappuccinos and a tartufo. Marco added extra whipped for my daughter and gave it to us complimentary for our anniversary!! That was more than nice. Overall it was a great dining experience. Would return as soon as possible. -

We recently went to a catered affair. The food was substandard and very salty. The salad consisted of water logged lettuce served on a bread and butter plate. I ordered the stuffed filet of sole. I needed a knife to cut through all the bread stuffing. The other guests disliked their selection as well. The portions were quite small and tasteless except for the handful of salt. The pastry served on a table of ten were miniature and not enough for 5. The coffee was served at room temperature without milk or spoons on the table. The wait staff was inadequate at best.
The price was high in comparison to other restaurants in the area.
On a positive note, the restaurant is beautiful and the owner is quite pleasant and friendly. He should fire the chef and hire competent employees. -

Fantastic Italian food reasonably priced. Great atmosphere - has many different rooms for different moods. Love the outside patio. A nice Italian "oasis." Pasta dishes are DIVINE. A great find. Why go out for lousy chain restaurant food when this place is in your neighborhood? Fantastic!
