Cute boutique, but the price points are far too high for what's there. Also sizes are for women sizes 0-6. The shoes are not even worth looking at because they are not gently worn. I came across one pair that were, but they had blood stains in them.

They do have a very nice selection of designer bags and accessories so if you're in the market for a LV bag, come check out what's here. Other than that, try Greene Street a few blocks away.

I've given this place a couple chances, never with any luck. The shoe selection is pretty terrible, anything size 10 or 11 look like they came right off a hooker's foot.

And like people have said before, the price points are high for most of the used items offered.

I had a friend go in recently and shortly after she arrived, she got asked to leave by an employee because she snickered at a $170 price tag on a used marc jacobs TOTE. The employee snobbishly said "if you don't like our prices, you can leave." Seems like a full proof way to maintain a customer base.

That alone makes me never want to go there anymore. I've always felt a bit unwelcome every time I've been there because of the people that work there.

A great place if you like getting ripped off.

This is one of those "if it seems too good to be true, it probably is" type places. After hearing that this consignment shop sold used luxury items at a good price, I figured I would check it out. I bought a LV wallet thinking I was getting a good deal. It even came with the original packaging. The wallet looked good but after about a month, the wallet started to fall apart. After doing some research on-line, it was clearly a counterfeit (although a pretty good one).

Maybe I just got burned and their other items are legit, but I would proceed with caution.

I really only wanted to use this site to extol praises upon positive experiences I've had however, this place has prompted me to forewarn you all before you are severely disappointed. I have made a few purchases in the past, (which means I have spent well over $300 here), and I can certainly sympathize with the other yelpers about the attitudes of the employees. As I usually stop in after I drop off movies at the TLA, I'm certainly not dressed to impress anyone in this shop, (not that I would anyway), so they tend to look at you like you are conveying a foul stench into their store by not looking like you could spend a million dollars. Now, as this IS a consignment shop (in case THEY forgot that) I'm obviously in the market to find good bargains on gently used items, which would insinuate that I am not in the market to spend a ton of money. If I wanted to deal with overly smug employees, I'd go to a designer store and still get treated better than this, if only because they'd hound me to see if I was stealing something! So yes Attitude here is a must if you'd like to fill out an application. I have never purchased a designer item here as everything I have ever looked at in my size, (yes I'm a large not a size 2), and that remotely attracted my eye, was certainly not in a condition I would risk wearing more than once. And the prices for such items? Not as great as you would think. I have seen stains on items and smells, and it's still being sold for $80.00?? I will just have my cat roll around on something I own thank you. On the plus side, there are a couple of people who embellish/DIY items here that I love. I bought a denim blazer that has a bustle added. A big bustle with sequins and lace and tulle that I absolutely adore. And I am more apt to support a local designer than anything else in this store. And so for that I have come back. Two weeks ago I was dropping off movies when I beheld in the window this absolutely amazing pink fur purse. I marched right in and was determined no matter the cost to but it as I was absolutely in love with it. I asked the girl how much it was ($89.00) and told the girl that I would take it. Right there, I offered to scoop it up no questions asked about it's designer or grumble over the price. The girl proceeds to tell me they can't just sell items from the window as they would have to change out the display too often. I was a bit taken aback by this as a sale is a sale is a sale. This is consigment, there won't be any in the back or any more coming in. So, at this point I'm like great so I'll just have to wait and then pray I get it when it comes out of the window? She's like oh no we keep a list and when we change the display we call the people on the list starting from #1 and offer them to come in and purchase the item. So of course I'm determined to have this purse so I ask to be put on the list thinking if I'm lucky I'm the 3rd or 4th person who wants it. No, the girl tells me I'm #1. I write down my name, my phone #, and the item that I want really really big so it can easily be seen. The girl puts a big #1 next to my name. I ask again if there's any way I can buy it now and she even looks briefly to see if she can replace it with anything but, no luck. I ask again it won't be sold to anyone else until I get called? I get a no way we do this all the time and everyone knows to use the list. Okay I think, just breathe the purse will still be mine. BOY WAS I WRONG!!!! Yesterday I am joyously returning movies to the TLA (love that place btw), and I decide to look longingly in the window at the future Ms. Kerry's purse. To my shock and dismay, it is not in the window. Not only that, there is nothing in it's place! As it is 11:45am they are not open yet for me to inquire as to where MY purse is in person. I go home, I stew until 12:05pm when I know they are open, I all ready know what they have done, and I am not happy about it. I call and the girl answers the phone and I say I was just up there and I noticed that the pink fur purse that I had put my name on the list for is missing out of the window is there a reason for that? Not only that but my name was #1 on the list for that item. She stammers and says oh well someone who works here who didn't know about the list sold it, I'm so sorry. Sorry, SORRY I say in disbelief? I ask what is the point of having a list if you're going to disregard it and sell it to someone else anyway? I ask why I was told that all the employees know about the list if you're telling me now someone doesn't? I'm fuming at this point but, I keep my cool and simply say well that's fine then you just lost a good customer, saved me some money, and I will be sure to tell all my friends how horrendous your store really is. So please if you go here don't ever expect to get an item in the window, don't ever expect to be treated with respect, and dear God don't ever ask to be put on the list! Hands down I will never walk into this store again!! BOYCOTT!!!

This consignment store carries a lot of vintage/older models of designer goods on fair prices.  The designer bags, cashmere sweaters and great collection of shoes.  Not to mention their fitting rooms are cute!  They really have the best denims around.  This is not a usual consignment store like Good Will.  You definitely won't find that much vintage like 70s flowery patterns but maybe a 2006 Barney's cashmere sweater?  Look around :)

The only thing that I would recommend about this place is their excellent selection of designer bags that were placed on consignment. This is a great option if you love designers like Louis, Prada, Coach and Fendi but don't mind bags and purses a few seasons old and want to pay the crazy prices.

Otherwise, the clothing is so-so. They have a lot of items that I don't know why they are even trying to sell because some stuff is just plain hideous. Also, the shopkeepers were very cold and distant.

An interesting thing to note is that they do have a rack devoted to the designs of local fashion designers. Problem is that some of this stuff looks like it should be on a Milan runway and never actually worn in real life.

This place is jam packed with amazing pieces of designer clothes...while there are a few...not so amazing designer pieces in there too.  They have a pretty impressive selection of jeans and shoes as well.  My only complaint is that the prices seem a bit steep.  Then again I'm not an expert in that field.
The staff could also be a bit more attentive and friendly.  They mostly just chatted amongst themselves while I was browsing.
If you like consignment shops this one is a neat place to check out...I just hope you've got their prices in your budget!

For what it is, it's a nice little store, but I was dismayed when I saw a Betsey Johnson purse that I loved that was way out of my price range...I mean, I guess it's that way for a reason because they are genuinely vintage designer pieces, but I should probably wait until I have a more steady income.

I found this F A B U L O U S cabernet-colored Betsy Johnson dress that was just stunning on the hanger and looked hot on me.  Unfortunately I didn't have $90 to fork over for it so I just lusted after it until someone with more financial backing than I have snatched it up.  That's the case with a lot of the items at Bella's.  The fact that it has Boutique in its name is a good indicator that the price tags aren't going to be 'thrifty.'  Their clothing, shoes and accessories are any fashion-loving girl's wet dream.  They are well selected, displayed in their best light and just so damn pretty.

One day I will have the resources to frequent this fine establishment! Because really, $90 is a steal for Betsy.

Very cool clothes in very good condition. Yes, the prices are a little higher than other stores in the area, but the items are higher end. Marc Jacobs, Prada, Dolce and Gabana, Michael Kors. I do not think of it as a 'thrift store' but rather as a Neiman Marcus without the thousand dollars price tags or the hateful drive to King of Prussia.

If you're looking for designer stuff and don't want to drop tons of money to get it new, Bella Boutique is a good option. Everything is in good condition, so prices are a bit high. They sell shoes, all sorts of clothing, purses, sunglasses, and jewelry. In the front of the store, they have a notebook that you can write down what you're looking for (like a particular Coach bag) and if one comes into the store, they'll give you a call and let you know it came in. While they do sell vintage, I wouldn't recommend it since they're very costumey pieces and the prices are outrageous.

I was in the area recently and decided to stop in after purchasing a couple of really cool things from Curiosity .  The people that worked there were quite snobby.  I dismissed them and proceeded to look at the shoes.  I found a really cute pair of flats.  I picked them up and the smell of "urine" damn near took my breath away.  As expensive and snotty as the people are they should take the time to "smell" what they are selling. I was so taken back by the smell that I left ..... looking for a place to wash my hands.  Oh... I forgot to mention that the shoes ere $65.00.  What a disgusting joke. I wont go back.... what a turn off.

South Street is a breeding ground for cheap boutiques selling ubiquitous, "fashionable" clothing, overpriced "thrift" stores, seedy dive bars and grungy record shops.  A nice anomaly to the South Street trend is Bella Boutique.  Located on 4th St. between South and Lombard, Bella Boutique sells second-hand shoes, clothing and accessories, some being designer, and all for women.  My first visit awarded me a sexy, black dress by Betsey Johnson for $20 and a form-fitting Juicy Couture t-shirt for $15.  After that, I was pretty much hooked.  In the following weeks I found a Versace dress for $50, a two-dollar Emporio Armani dress reminiscent of Audrey Hepburn's famed dress from "Breakfast at Tiffany's", and a last season Philip Lim jumper for $80.  Not only can you find affordable and incredible clothes, but excitingly, they vend inexpensive shoes from the likes of Kate Spade, Yves Saint Laurent and Steve Madden, authentic bags by Louis Vuitton and Prada, top-of-the-line perfume and unique jewelry and trinkets.  Additionally there are two great things about Bella: one being that it's organized by color, (the racks sometimes look like a crayon box), making the shopping experience fluid and fun, and two: location. After shopping, rent a movie at TLA next door, enjoy a coffee and home-made soup at Philly Java across the street and walk home to revel in your new things, which for once, didn't burn a hole in your pocket. With Bella Boutique you can have your cake, and eat it, too.

Bella Boutique is on 4th Street, just north of South Street, and it features mainly consignments.  I wasn't very impressed with this place, however.  Most of its "designer" vintage clothing is stuff I wouldn't even wear for Halloween, and the clothes are too expensive for something someone else wore.  Honestly, I wondered about the people who bought these clothes when they were new, like a sequined black bra top and long skirt that I suppose was evening wear at some point in the past.  Basically, everything I saw was way out of style and over-priced.  And the staff wasn't all that friendly, either.  Perhaps they noticed the look of amazement and disgust of my face as I perused the racks of clothing, so they figured I wasn't going to be buying anything.  This place would be a lot better if they were more discriminating about the "vintage" clothes they take in to sell.  Or maybe I caught them at a particularly bad day, who knows?  All I know is that I won't be going back anytime soon.
