Since this has been my first mid-west winter, I was warned about quite a few things with having a car in the city...digging out parking spots, not parking in someone else's spot, how to defrost your car door handle and of course, make sure to have plenty of windshield washer fluid handy.
Although I followed all the rules, it did not make a difference when I realized that having plenty of washer fluid wouldn't do anything if the actual pump was broken. Luckily, Belknap Auto Body solved this problem for me quickly and affordably.
I love that it is a family owned and run shop and all of the staff is very knowledgeable. It's great to know that I have a place that I can trust to get car help anytime! -

Although my interaction with Belknap Auto Body was brief, I cannot praise them enough!! My husband and I live in the city, were used car shopping in the Barrington area and called him up ahead of time to confirm that he does auto inspections. When we took the car we were interested in to him, he fit us right in on a Saturday morning and inspected the car pro bono!! I mean, who does anything for free these days??!!
Steve was very knowledgeable about both the mechanics and the body of the car. He pointed out a few things that a layman would never have noticed or thought about. They are a full spectrum family owned shop, doing everything from repair to body work to rebuilds. Although we live a ways away, we will absolutely keep Belknap in mind for future auto repair/body work. And on top of everything, they were as polite and friendly as can be. A++++

Established in 1994
After 18 years in the industry Stephen Belknap decided to pursue his goal of becoming his own boss in a successful business. In 1994 he established Belknap Auto Body, Inc. in Lake Barrington, Illinois where it still operates today. Belknap Auto Body, Inc. remains a family owned and operated establishment where customer service always comes first and quality of work is second to none.
