Boyfriend has a lot of family in Fontana and the surrounding area. That part of his family loooooooves to go to the Bel-Air Swap-Meet. Boyfriend's uncle has this story that makes me laugh every time:

One day Boyfriend's Uncle needed some sneakers so he went to the swap meet. He found some Filas for $15 and they fit perfectly so he bought them. He took them home and wore them. Boyfriends Uncle's children said "hey our dad is wearing Filas. He's cool!" Then they took a closer look at the Filas. They were actually, "Fifas." That should tell you everything you need to know about the Bel-Air Swap-Meet.

Here's the deal: carpool because parking is a little tight. You'll always find a spot but if you carpool it's a lot easier on everyone. Admission is $.50 and you can exit and re-enter as long as you get a stamp. WEAR SUNSCREEN AND A HAT, no matter how brown your skin might be you'll be hot in that sun. We always get a sunburn because we show up unprepared. Bring cash because you can't use your Visa there.

What will you find? Everything from crap to decent stuff. Clothes, shoes, cleaning products, pets, auto accessories, CD's, food, sporting goods and more. So go there with your mind open and your cash ready. One man's Fifas might just be your Filas.

I've made my way here a few times from Rancho, and I am definitely going back. Not just for a specific thing, just for deals that I happen to come across. They have a side of mostly used items, but the side of new, name brand, items is much larger. You must walk down every isle to find a good deal. They have everything, from fresh fruits/veggies, flowers, bedding sets, kitchen ware (I bought a pyrex baking dish w/ warmer for $12 brand new!), kids shoes/clothing and a clothing booth that sells Forever 21, Charlotte Russe etc clothing, and a lot of booths selling forever 21 jewelry which I love, because it's extra cheap! There are also a few good booths that make you feel like you just walked in a CVS pharmacy that is 50% off! They have every makeup brand imaginable, and all the beauty supplies you need, including nail polish, lotions, eye lash curlers & clippers and cleaning supplies. I think I'll be heading there this weekend, to see what I can come up on. It's always fun going. The earlier the better!
