I tried this place out with my mother-in-law earlier this week and brought my husband today. We loved it!

With my mother-in-law, we did the 1 hour foot massage and 15 minute chair massage for $35. It was a special deal because we went Mon-Thurs. The foot massage was very good and didn't hurt like it sometimes does at China Spa. You start with a very relaxing face massage (it's amazing!) while you are soaking your feet. Then they work on your arms and the rest of your body while sitting in a comfy chair. When it's finished, they walk you over to the chair massage station and do a really great chair massage, including your legs. Quite a good deal for 1h15min.

So, I brought my hubby here today and we did the 30 minute foot rub and 60 minute full body massage for $70 each. The foot rub was just as good as before, but they didn't do our arms probably for sake of time. Then, they walk you over to their curtained massage area. I think our therapists thought we had been there before, so they just left us in the curtained sections. I laid face down on the table and waited for him to return. He came back looking confused and said he had oil. I said that was fine and they he started worrying about my shirt. I still didn't get it (I've always done Asian massages clothed in some way). Then he said to take my shirt and pants off and he left. The same thing happened to my hubby. I whispered to my husband how much he was taking off, since no one said anything. It was our fault for not clarifying. We kept our underwear on and that seemed okay. The full body massage was amazing! He cracked my back and smoothed out our kinks. He had just the right amount of pressure, not too light and not too painful. We will definitely be back!

If you've ever been to a Chinese massage place, you'll know they prefer cash. Actually, most small businesses prefer cash so they don't have to pay the fees. I'm not sure what some other folks are saying about the front desk lady not speaking English, she was very easy to understand and there are signs saying they prefer cash. It's very apparent that the negative comments are from people who have never experienced Asian massage before. That's fine, more room for the rest of us!

I'm old enough to know the rule: "you get what you pay for". I just had the worse massage ever! I guessit is a Chinese massage, $25,00 foot massage including full body massage, which makes the total of 1 hr. Well, VERY cheap, but the massage was way too rough and I wasn't relaxed at all, since I was worried it was going to hurt more.

It hurts a lot and still hurting. But that was not the worst part. When my husband went to pay, the rude  girl told us "we prefer cash". Well, we didn't know we needed to tip just in cash and we didn't have much cash on us. She was really angry because of it and she looked at the amountof money and she asked for more!! WTF???

That was horrible!! I read other reviews of people complaining about her as well. She needs to get some manners and also learn how to treat people!

I feel bad for the massage therapists, but Don't recommend this place to anyone! The place also smells like vinegar and I don't think the chair are very clean. People in the back were talking loud, microwave souds, not relaxing at all. I rather pay $100-150 in a SPA than go back to crap places like that. It is not worh it.

Tried out this place over the weekend after reading some good stuff here on Yelp. I was NOT impressed.

    Cons:
+ Women at the counter spoke almost ZERO english. Had trouble understanding that we wanted the 30 minute foot massage instead of the 60 minute one.
+ My male therapist was VERY rough. I thought my hair was being ripped from my head, that my scull was going to crack as he pushed on my temples, and that my feet would be bruised the next day.
+ Sometimes it felt like they were making stuff up as they poked, slapped and pounded on my feet and legs.
+ Overall a very awkward experience.

    Pros:
    +Cheap

When we tried to pay with a card the woman at the desk handed it back and said "prefer cash". We used the last of our cash on this crappy massage.

We will NOT be returning here- no matter how cheap it is.

OMG....I think I just got my ass kicked here!!  Went in for a nice relaxing foot massage plus 15 min back massage....and ended up feeling like I got beat up.  The foot massage was to rough.  I was squirming in pain and told the guy 3 times it was too hard. I don't think he understood me because the pressure did not change at all.  Then when he got to my back, same thing, way too hard pressure..which
I told him again it was too hard to no avail.  He literally massaged me like I was a 300 pound man!  It has been three days since I went here and my back is still killing me with pain.  Will not be back to this place ever!

So we went without an appointment but they squeezed us in anyway.

    Here's how it works:
    1) walk in and wonder whether they're even open or not because it's so dark in there
    2) whisper to front desk gal you want a foot massage
    3) they seat you right away, or tell you when to come back so they can seat you
    4) relax in big lazy boy chair and resist temptation to fall asleep because it's so dark
    5) foot soak in round wooden tub
    6) head/scalp massage (i am not used to them scratching my hair with fingernails)
    7) arms (including arm pit area..)
    8) legs (including upper thigh..)
    9) feet, but this is not reflexology so much as putting their hands in a fist and rubbing the bottoms of your feet with it
    10) flip around for backside--thank you for asking and targeting my shoulders
    11) you're told it's done and try to pull yourself out of massage slumber
    12) they serve you a thimble-sized dixie cup of cold, delicious citrust/flower infused water
    13) pay and go!

Super curious how the back end of things here work....sometimes I think the girl behind the front counter is indentured labor from China, or drugged up, or ??? The massage people are ROUGH, and the quality from therapist to therapist is not consistent at all. Is this place really legit?

I have been scared to think about the germs that must reside on the chairs they use, and when they turn you face down, and your face is mere inches from the actual carpet floor, I tend to hold my breath.

The $25 foot massage that is actually a full body massage, is still the best price around. Just close your eyes and hold your breath, that's my best suggestion.

pros...a great, and inexpensive place to get a very decent whole body massage.  and if you act now, you can get in on the special deal they are providing.  it seems that for just a low, low, price of $35, you can get 75 minutes of massage.  but just make sure that your tips are in cash.

so what do you get for $35?  well you get massaged in a large common room in a overstuffed reclining chair.  no taking off clothing or anything like that, you just roll things up and out of the way.  i would suggest shorts when getting a massage here, so you don't have that wad of pants rolled around your knees.  well you get your feet soaked in pretty warm water.  they soak for about 20-25 minutes, and while that is happening you get your face and arms massaged.

after the 20-25 minutes, your massage therapist will dry your feet off and start to work on your feet and legs.   now the rest of the hour is spent on your legs and feet.  if you get a nice therapist, which i did, you will be able to fall asleep quite easily.  my therapist, named "David", didn't speak much english, but did have hands as warm as freshly baked bread.  shoot they were pretty darn hot, and on a hot day like we've been having it was quite nice.

now the last 15 minutes are spent in a massage chair, so they can get your back and neck area.  and this is where the massage can get a bit rough.  as you you have just probably just woken up from your slumber, you will now be awoken by some quite firm massage.  now this is where the word, "BEIJING" comes into play.  these people are chinese, and they like to give a very firm massage.  people in china, work hard, and they mostly still have very physically demanding jobs making all the stuff we buy here.  so when they want a massage they want something they can "FEEL".  so they aren't fooling around, they are going to be quite vigorous with their massages.

also remember that you are going to a place named "BEIJING", so of course most of these people aren't going to speak english.  this is why the massage is very inexpensive, cause you are not paying for that.  if you want a massage where you can speak to someone in english, then get ready to pay for that skill.

cons...it gets crowded, cause it's a very inexpensive massage.  i won't call it cheap, cause they do know what they are doing most of the time.  and they are working very hard for this small amount of money.  this is the type of massage that you will get if you were in china.  so like i said it is a bit on the physical side.  i have read some reviews about other negative things, but remember when are you going to get a full hour or in this case 75 minutes for $35?  you won't, just like all things there is a price, and the price is no english, more physical massage done in a group/communal setting.  so just know this before you go into the massage and you are not pampered in a spa environment.  times are tough, so if you don't like it, don't say that i didn't warn you!

Went after work one evening and the guy giving me the massage coughed all over me.  He was also very rough.
When I tried to use my card to pay the lady looked at me and said, "We prefer cash."  This was not the tip, mind you.  I will not be back.  What an awkward experience.  I have to say that this time it was MUCH different than my previous experience there, which was decent.

Man I love this place. Foot, body and back massage for $25. I've been going here for the last couple of years and have taken my folks, friends and siblings here at one time or another.

Pretty much the same program as the other foot massage places that are springing up like Starbucks on the Eastside, but they seem to be the most professional and centrally located in Kirkland. You can eat, drink, workout, etc. and get a massage immediately after. In fact, I have gone right after working out at 24 Hour Fitness around the corner.

The only downsides are that this place is pretty small and open. It gets packed quick and seems to be really popular these days. Sometimes you get the ignorant peeps who walk in and can't respect the quietness and zen of getting a massage and talk loud enough for everyone to hear.

Other than that... love this place and the masseuses are great.

I go to the Bellevue location and it is hit or miss with this place.

If you go there and get the Therapist by the name of Day, you'll come out of there feeling like you've truly experienced HEAVEN ON EARTH.  If you get anyone else, you'll just feel OK.

Basically, the massage it isn't as good at the Reflexology Health Center in Renton, but the ambiance is better and they do have punch cards which is an added plus.

It is better than nothing when I'm at my Bellevue day job and my back needs some attention.

My husband and I went and both had the Package A, which was $40/each plus tip (we tipped $15 each).  This was seventy-five minutes of heaven in the form of foot soak while your arms, head, scalp and hands and massaged, followed by the foot and leg rub as well as other assorted massage techniques (i.e. slapping, dropping, stretching, etc.).  After this you leave your big comfy chair and get in the massage chair for the back beat down of your life--in the best sense.  You can't beat this for the price.  Next time we would like to bring earbuds and music, but we WILL be going back.

AWESOME!  Such a great experience.  Yeah, "some people" don't know how to act in these situations and make noise, talk, or don't TURN OF THE CELL PHONE!  But, overall this was excellent.  There's a reason it's cheap - you don't have a private room, the end of the massage when you bend over the chair for your neck massage is a little awkward (I wish they did this part first maybe so you could just  relax in the chair the rest of the time) - overall, totally worth $25!!

Take people's advice, bring cash for tips.  Please be quiet when you enter/leave and for goodness sake - TURN YOUR CELL PHONE OFF.  You're getting a massage.

So I guess there's a new trend (or at least it's new to me) on the eastside - super cheap foot massages.  $25 will get you one full hour of a foot massage.  They only spend about 20 minutes total on your feet and the rest of the time they massage the rest of you.  The reason it's so cheap is mostly because of the style of massage and of course the fact that you're fully clothed and are sitting in a big comfy recliner along with 20 other people in their big comfy recliners in the same room.  Not exactly a private setting, but for a full hour of massage for only $25, you're prepared to make some sacrifices.

Best place I've been to for this service so far - Beijing Herbal Foot Massage in Kirkland, WA.  I've consistently had the warm fuzzies after leaving this place.  They play traditional Chinese music softly in the background (and some classical), the chairs are comfortable, the staff is quiet and polite and each person I've had a treatment from has had a great touch and seems to know roughly the right pressure to give.  I've been there several times and will continue to come back.

Here's the story about what happened the time I did not go to Beijing Herbal Foot Massage last night.  I went to some place in Bellevue.  Here's what happened.

Chairs were great, slightly better than Beijing.  The music started off okay being Bryan Adams "Everything I do, I do it for you", until I heard it twice within 20 minutes and then a third time by some chick who re-did it and should thereby be shot.

The staff is very nice and polite... before they get their hands on you.  Once my sister and I sat down there was no "hello, do you need a soft or firm touch, do you have any missing or broken appendages..." none of that.  I sat down, they brought a tub of warm water to soak my feet in (great) and then grabbed my arm with one hand and drove his elbow so far into my shoulder I thought I was getting a transplant and he was my donor (not so great).

For those who have yet to experience a typical Chinese style massage - this is not atypical.  It is a more aggressive style but often times the massage therapists choose not to use their entire body weight to dig into one appendage.  My massage therapist chose to waive that option.

Once my shoulders had been sufficiently pummeled, he moved on to my feet.  A lot of massage and particularly this style of massage are about pressure points.  This guy dug his knuckle so far into the soft middle of my foot, I think I temporarily went deaf.  I tasted purple.  On the second foot he was kind enough to notice my eyelids squeezing together and the grimace on the rest of my face and politely asked "too hard?"  "Umm yes, a little" I managed to whimper.  To complete my foot "massage" he punched my heels and slapped the balls of my feet so hard I felt like I owed him child support.

After he was done with my feet, I was told to flip over and he started on my back.

I think this guy's picture is on the wall at the nearest battered women's shelter.  There was a mixture of elbows, knuckles, and open hand slapping that occurred on various portions of my back.  Every time he'd come down with an elbow he'd put his entire body weight onto that specific point.  There were times I thought he brought over a friend to help put even more weight on this pressure point.  On the bright side, various parts of my body touched each other that'd never previously made contact.  My spine was like "well hello left nipple, at last we meet!"  Each time he put his whole body into it, he'd mutter something in Chinese which I can only imagine was something to the effect of "take it, take it, take it white devil!"  But my Chinese is a little rough, so you'll have to excuse if that's not the literal translation.

For the last 5 minutes of the massage I just couldn't stop giggling.  I laugh when I have to endure long periods of pain.  I grimace for about the first 10 minutes and then I just start chuckling.  This ordeal was my sister's treat so when we got back to the car I told her I couldn't believe she paid $25 to have me beaten up.

Next time I want to get the snot beat out of me, I'll save my sister the money and just go to prison.

After a weekend of being beat up on Whistler mountain by my snowboard and also mentally stressed by the burglarization of my house, my friend and i decided to check out the new massage place that opened in Kirkland. This Beijing Herbal Foot Massage provided the de-stressing I direly needed...

First of all, it's cheap. $25 for an hour of massage. I walked into dimly lit room with light music and lots of big armchairs. They soak your feet in a pot of something of your choosing that smells relatively pleasing, in a big plastic bag (though that's kind of ghetto, i liked it because most likely someone else's feet weren't directly in there). They actually massage more than your feet. They start at your head and then give you a little shoulder rub before they get to your feet and legs.

The lady was nice enough to work around my bruises, so that was thoughtful. I'd probably go back...

I love the upper body portion of massage.  Therapist did not hold back and I enjoy it very much.  However, I wish the therapist did not hold back on the foot massage portion. A true Asian foot massage hurts like hell when the therapist presses the trigger points.  I agree with Ane P. the back message is a bit uncomfortable because of the setup.  But, you really cannot complaint too much for 25 dollars massage.

The final cost of the foot massage is 30 dollars minimum because there is a minimum tipping policy.

The full body massage is 50 dollars and they have the full massage table behind the curtain divider.

I've been to a foot massage place like this before where they massage your feet and your full body.  It's very popular in California.  But I have to admit, this place looks classier.

You walk in and the place is dark.  You sit in a big dark room along with other people getting their foot massage (so you're not in a private room).  At first I thought I would feel uncomfortable getting my foot massage with strangers and have them stare at you while you sleep or something.  BUT it wasn't like that at all.  Everyone is so relaxed with their eyes closed and in their zone that they're not even paying attention to you... so you quickly forget you're in the room with other people.  Once they start on you, you enter into another world.  It's that relaxing.

I love that they also include some stretching along with a face, arms, legs, foot, and back massage.

Remember to ask for their Foot Massage because they also have a full body massage as one of their services.  For $25, it's so worth it!  As for tips, they only accept tips in cash.  You can pay for the service anyhow you like, but tips is cash only.

The only reason I'll head to the Eastside on a non work day is if I can get a foot massage out of it!

This was even better than the massages I got IN the ACTUAL Beijing.
One thing I really enjoyed about the culture was the emphasis on affordable relaxation, and I took advantage of it when I was there in September 2008.

Every time I took a chair, started sipping my beer and getting a smackdown, I was like "Why don't they do this in the States?" In Beijing, the difference in the experience is minimal. The rooms are for small groups, and they have TV's and a snack/drink menu for you to enjoy while you get the stress beat out of you. Here, the difference was the quiet, and a full-body experience (even with the reflexology foot massage). Oh, and this place doesn't serve beer or food. I honestly didn't miss it though. This was entirely about chilling out and letting the ladies/gents do their thing.

Everyone's reviews are exactly what my experience was: a quiet hour of full-body slapping, rubbing, poking, kneading, cajoling. Some was a little painful, but it all resulted in total bliss and relaxation. My feet are still soft today.

Definitely an affordable splurge and a great way to take an hour for yourself.

Gotta love the cheap asian massages! I frequent quite a few places when I'm in California, but was super excited when my friend told me we have a spot here to unwind.

There's 3 sections seperated with curtains that have about 6 chairs in each. The best deal is a foot massage for $25 which includes a hot food soak, massage of the head, neck, shoulders, arms, legs and back. When they do your back it is super uncomfortable. There aren't any holes in the chairs where you can put your face in so they have you sit on the foot rest and place a pillow on the chair in front of you to rest your head. Noise control is non-existant it's just the one great room and you can hear every guest that comes & goes...even more so since it has the annoying door beep every time the door is opened.

All in all, it's not as good as the California massage joints, but good enough where I'd come back!

PS - No they do not have "Happy Endings"

I just had a tonsilectamy almost 2 weeks ago and between the meds I was on and allergies, I was feeling very run down and exhausted. I had walked by this place many times since it opened and thought it was silly but today I tried to book an appointment at another reflexology place and they didn't have any openings for 3 days! I need to feel better soon so I can return to work.

Anyway, I looked at the other 2 Yelp reviews and thought that I would give it a try. I am very glad I did. My therapist Jimmy hit all of the right spots and I felt like I cheated them by only paying $25 (so I made sure to tip very nicely). The place was clean and calm and the staff members were kind and friendly. I will definitely be back and I am glad that they are so close to me!

Believe the wonderful reviews you read here. We tried Bejing Herbal Foot Massage this weekend and were impressed. It's quite the operation, lots of massage chairs and lots of staff.

The place was crowded for a Sunday afternoon, but despite seeing at least 12-15 occupied chairs the wait was only 10 minutes. It was definitely worth the wait.

During a foot soak in the herbal solution of your choice the masseur tends to your head and face. After a nice long foot massage, with special attention to pressure points, she moved on to my arms and legs. After that she had me sit on the ottoman with my head down so she could massage my neck and back. The entire experience was wonderful.

The massage takes place while fully clothed, but one must be ok with the process taking place in a crowded room. They really pack them in, but I'm ok with that considering I'm paying just $25 plus tip. With your eyes closed, the darkened room and quiet music you really forget you're a few feet away from someone else receiving the same treatment.

Congratulations to Bejing for this great business model. I hope your great rates and excellent service keep you in business for years to come. I'll definitely be back.

WOW.  Thought I was getting a foot message, not alot of english spoken, so I pulled up my pant legs and they got started...first soaking my feet and then beginning with my palms worked their way all along my body!  Yowza!  Front and back, with clothes, fantastic, you must try.  And the rates!  I was over 60 minutes and it was only $25.00 (they might not always be this good, was worth muuch more).  I'll be back!

Try the place in Redmond, first.  I had 5 different massages here, each with a different practitioner.  Too hard or too soft, never just right.  A couple of the guys left my back sore for a few days.  Recommended to friends and they had similar experiences.

Shoot! I was hoping to be the first to review this place. My girlfriend and her sister rave about this place, so I had to check it out too.

The initial foot soak, foot, leg, head and shoulder massage- all heavenly bliss.

I think I may have been their last appointment for the evening and I didn't feel like both my feet got equal attention because my masseur was distracted and had to constantly get up and leave me to answer the door as it seemed the receptionist had left for the evening. I wasn't sure if she understood English, as she kept looking at me and smiling but wouldn't answer anything. My girlfriend also complained that her masseur has took a break while she was there, and when he came back he smelled of cigarette smoke.

Good location at Park Place, friendly staff, clean location and awesome hours (open late). I'll just go earlier in the day next time.

I am now obsessed!  I have gone to Beijing 3 times and I tried Bliss reflexology in downtown Bellevue once.  Beijing is the BEST.  The only complaint I ever have is when they aren't hard enough but for $25 I won't really complain.  I have heard that Wang (pronounced Wong) is the best and will hopefully be having him next time.  You CAN request certain massage therapists, so give it a few times to find your right person.  Then, go to them!

They are great, and are very busy, so don't be surprised if you have to wait if it's early evening.

I heard about this place through some friends.  I then did my research on Yelp to see what is was really all about.  Excited, I went to experience it for myself.  I opted for the $25 foot massage.  this is what happened:

I go into one of the sectioned off areas, remove my shoes and sit in a reclining chair.  the guy comes and soaks my feet in a warm basin of tea infused water.  he starts massaging my face, ears (his fingers went into my ear holes, i laughed), head, neck, shoulder, etc.  the whole deal.  then he massages my arms and hands.  then he wiggles my bingo arms. i laughed again.

then he gets down to business on my feet. then goes to legs, massaging more. then comes the slapping/hitting/punching. i laugh. it's so unexpected. you lay there, so relaxed, able to tune out the people that can't seem to keep quiet, and then all of a sudden you're being hit. LOL

then i get flipped over. there is a hole in the head part of the chair and he places a sanitary cover there, and there is a nose hole, etc. so your neck is completely straight for a proper back massage.  he starts on my back/spine, shoulders, etc. then my bum and stomach area. then my legs some more. more hitting, etc. and then it's all over with.

you get up thinking "what the heck just happened to me?" you feel violated (kidding) but really really good all at once. and it's only $25. cash only for the tips.

i loved it. i will go back as often as i can. no, it's not like a proper massage parlor where they discuss the amount of pressure, areas to work on and stuff, but who cares? it's $25. GO. you will LOVE it.

This is kind of a weird place. It's not a "real" massage place. You'll be in a room with a bunch of other people that are getting foot massages, so it's not private in any way. And, I am pretty sure that nobody is certified in anything. But, for $25, it is relaxing.
Looking at the pictures on Yelp, you'd think it was brightly lit, but it's actually quite dark in there. In fact, it's so dark that you probably will want to read their menu of massage offerings before you go back and have a seat in an Archie Bunker chair. Nobody speaks much English, so don't bother asking for a description. And don't worry about going through the whole list. Just choose a foot massage. Any one will do. They are all basically the same.
The massage starts off by someone bringing out a foot tub. They used to have those white plastic buckets that you see at Home Depot for home improvement stuff, but they've gone all classy recently and have actual wooden tubs. In the tub is a plastic bag full of water. That threw me at first because it seems icky, but when you think about it, it's pretty hygienic. I mean, nobody else's feet were in that bag (I hope). So, you put your feet in and soak for a bit. I honestly think the purpose is for them not to have to touch stinky feet, but whatever the intent is, it's still relaxing.
The foot massage part is awesome. Then they go into this whole body massage routine where they sort of bash you around and bend you into odd pretzel-like shapes. It's ridiculously weird. I had to try not to laugh, mostly because I'd have probably sustained internal injuries as a result. I don't think people really are supposed to bend that way. Nothing hurt, but it sure wasn't what I had expected!
All in all, it's pretty good. Make sure to bring cash for a tip.

I used a Groupon I'd purchased recently for this place.  The foot massage was great, very relaxing and included a neck and scalp massage.  Clearly the person providing the service was a smoker, so their hands smelled of smoke when they massaged my face.  That was not pleasant.
The seated back massage is another story.  I have a history of lower back pain, and the pressure was way too strong.  I actually cried out "Ow, Ow, OW!" at one point, my masseuse just kind of chuckled.  Two days later my entire upper back is stiff and sore.  My girlfriend had a similar response so I know it wasn't just me.
In short, I'd definitely go back for the foot massage portion, but probably not for the back massage portion.

Located in the Park Place mall area of Kirkland is this great foot massage place. 25$ gets you an hour long foot massage which seems to include nearly all parts of the body. You are seated in a room with other people in a comfy chair with your feet up and get to chose what type of soak you would enjoy. Other massages are available, but this seems to be the best deal and will leave you feeling totally relaxed and wanting more. No appt is necessary, walk in's don't often have to wait. Lots of staff are just standing around waiting to give you the best foot massage and so much cheaper than other massages. Be sure to tip, they work really hard. Even people squemish about having thier feet touched seem to enjoy it. Worth checking out. Plus its a lot nicer at this place than some others that offer similar services.

For the price of $25 it's pretty worth it.  It's a fully clothed massage in a dimly lighted room.  I suspect no one is actually a licensed massage therapist...but hey for the price, the quality of the massage is out of this !world

If you are looking for a good massage with outstanding prices, this is the place!  I had the 30 minute neck and back massage ($30) that hit the spot.  After a vigorous workout and feeling the effects of lactic acid buildup, the massage was deep into the muscle and was much needed. Along the way they check to make sure if the pressure being used is just right for you. I definitely plan on going at least twice a month with these prices.

This is my new favorite place in Kirkland. A one-hour foot massage consists of ~75% foot work, and the rest of the time they hit your neck, shoulders, and back, even hips. The pressure is typically deep; the therapists certainly don't hold back. What you won't get is a private room, but this is not necessary since all the work is done over your clothes. With a fee of $25 dollars, you can't beat it...tip generously!

I've been here twice now this week, and have had two very different experiences.  My first time, I went to the Park Place location, and the guy I had just wasn't very good.  I mean, it wasn't awful--but it didn't seem that he actually knew about the body at all, you know, this is muscle, that is bone, etc.  And I appreciate a good hard massage, which he definitely was capable of, but it just hit too many wrong bits, too hard, too fast, too long.  Frankly, it kept reminding me of an old boyfriend I had to dump because he was like that in bed...but I digress.

The second time,  I went to their other location up on 85th, though I've since been told that the two are no longer owned by the same person.  So it may not be the same place at all.  In any case, my guy here was great.  Way more intentional about getting places that muscles get tight, definitely did the pressure points all over (and yes, it hurt sometimes) and actually had me flat face down to do my back, which was way better than the ottoman thing.  And yes, still $25.

I will say that my friend was with me the second time, and she said her guy was AWFUL--kept looking over at my guy to figure out what to do next, and didn't understand OUCH, kept hurting her until my guy translated.

So I'm thinking that this place is definitely worth the small bucks, but only if you can figure out which people give the good massages.  I'm not sure how you find this out other than to go, and if you get a good one, GET THEIR NAME.  If you get a bad one, don't be shy and speak up!  Don't lay there and tolerate the pain or bad technique--for $25, it doesn't have to be amazing, but it shouldn't be awful either.

This is a good  Massage place.  You don't have to waste time changing clothes and waste time drinking tea...?? You will not get a better value for the service anywhere else.  The people that work there are very nice.  However, most of them smoke right at the front of the strore and then walk back to do the messages...?   How can you be in the Health business while smoking and also breaking the law by smoking few feet from the entrance of the business...?   so I will give them 3 stars and I will go back there only when needed.

Clean, completely worth the price, they go the full 60 minutes (I don't like it when they start five minutes late and finish five minutes early).  It's sanitary and very friendly, I've loved every massage I've gotten here, the only reason I didn't do five stars is because of the ambience.  It's neat and to the point.

When I first started going to Beijing Herbal Foot Massage two years ago it was amazing. Now, however it is not. When you go to pay the rude girl at the desk is overly rude and will flat out tell you that you must tip in cash. So if you forget to bring cash for a tip she will bark in your face. One time, after I paid, she asked if it was good service. I said no I was cold the entire time of the massage. The front desk girl stated "thats not the massuse falt, you need to tip" which I was going to do, so with her bickering at me I gave my card, to tip, she then just stood there and didn't do anything, I then said. Are you going to let me tip then? even though it was a bad massage and cold?"  She stood there, she didn't run my card, I then took my card and said 'fine, if you want me to tip then charge the card, but since you don't and threw a fit about it I am leaving"  whenever this girl works there she ruins the experience. I stopped going because she is soo rude to other clients as well as I have watched.

This is the best hidden secret in Kirkland. For $25 you get a great one hour massage. My massage therapist Jimmy was great. He is excellent pressure on all my stress trigger points. Love it.
