How have i NOT reviewed this place already!? I swore i did...oh well.
OK this place is ROCKIN' at lunch time, for the golfers and local business park folks. It might be one of the few places off Airway to get a decent, fast meal. Plus the golf course as a backdrop is pretty nice too. Not to mention the dozen or so TV's they have going...score! I can check my teams any time i'm in here yahoo.
Onto the food...consistently delicious. I've tried their wraps (great!), chicken sandwhiches (i always have to take half home, generous portions!,) salads (always large and I leave full,) and numerous specials (grilled chicken caprese sandwich? bun was soggy, but still delicious!) My fav special thus far has been the California Burrito filled with garlic fries...i might opt for regular fries next time, i had funky breath all day (so worth it.)
Service: you seat yourself and I always pick a table with a view. Someone always greets us within a couple minutes of sitting down and drinks are promptly served and never empty. We're in and out for lunch in less then 45mins if we need to be! The price is spot on, most entree's are about $10-12 and well worth it since i normally get to take leftovers home.
Plus whenever i check in, i get 50% off my entree, yahoo! LOVE this place! Great local spot for sure...and I hear they have a good happy hour too (makes sense) so I hope to check that out. -

Yes, I'm giving Beeb's 4 stars. Why, you ask? Because there are tons of TVs and the waitress was totally cool with me running to my car after I ate to retrieve my wallet. She didn't even ask me to leave my purse or my first born.
Kids eat free with each adult meal at dinner time so my 2-year old had chicken strips and fries and my 4-year old and I shared an adult burger and a salad.
The food was fine, the service was a good mix of efficient but totally unobtrusive and, as my 4-year old said, "I wish I had eyes all over my head so I could see all of the TVs." -

Beeb's is the "off-campus cafeteria" at my company. Perfect for grabbing some food and drink after work and before my 5-hour class on Tuesday and Thursday nights at the college. It's super close to work and school, so it's simple to just pop over for a quick dinner before class.
The food is pretty good and the servers are always super sweet and attentive. It helps that there are a thousand TVs so I can at least catch a glimpse of the Giants games before class. I don't know if I would normally come here if it wasn't so close to work and school as it's not the best thing that ever happened, but it's definitely awesome for something close by.
They also have trivia night on Wednesdays, which I tried out last night. Pretty fun, but we got our butts kicked.
Yay, Beebs. -

Love it here. Its an unusual place for a non golfer to go, but I love the food and atmosphere...

Back when football was on last season, I was here for breakfast (before a round at Las Positas) and for post-round drinks and food. I recently returned to play at Las Positas, and did the same routine (breakfast before, and drinks after). The second trip reminded me that I haven't posted a review!
Now, to be honest, I'm not sure if I would come here for the sports bar in itself. The fact that it's connected to the Las Positas clubhouse factors into the review below, so beware.
First off, I love the breakfast food here. I've been to several golf courses in the bay area and most all have some sort of restaurant attached to them. Most are okay, few are bad, and even fewer excels. Beeb's makes good breakfast food.
The regular sports bar food and drinks are nothing spectacular (but not bad either). A big plus for having multiple TVs all across the wall... this comes very handy during football season. It gets crowded in there with all sorts of fans, which makes a very fun environment to be in. It's also handy in a sense that I can keep watch all my fantasy football players in action... all at once!
As mentioned above, I've been here on two different days, and there were cute waitresses (and friendly, as far as I can tell) working both times. Another plus on my book. -

Flew in to Livermore last week to have lunch with my flight instructor. Since I'm on this low card diet thingy, all I had was an unsweetened Ice Tea. Brad had a burger that looked and smelled great, but I had to take his word for it being good.
I'll fly back into to Livermore soon and sample the goods. -

We came here for a wedding reception on Saturday night. When we arrived the hosted bar was open and the tables were decorated nicely. The view was pretty with large windows on most of the walls in the banquet room. There weren't any place cards so it would have been nice to have someone from Beeb's directing people to tables. They set the food up while the toasts were being given. I would say don't go for the pasta for buffet - not tasty at all. But the rest of the food was yummy! After the cake was cut the servers weren't passing out the cake quickly enough so guests started crowding the table to get slices to bring to their tables. I've never seen that before at a wedding. Overall, I think it is a great spot to have a wedding reception. Well priced and lots of space for dancing and a patio for guests to get some air.

great hidden jem place to have a great breakfast, , kinda slow service but the food is great at a fair price. I haven't had lunch there or tried the bar, but had a dozen great breakfasts.

This is my new favorite place for breakfast!
Even though I have to drive past 10 other breakfast spots, all the way across town, it's worth it.
I don't imagine I'd go there on a Sunday, because I don't watch football, I suspect the place is packed.
Get the breakfast burrito. -

Flew in to Livermore for a quick lunch with my 10 year old. Walked over to Beebs and sat down just in time for kickoff of the Packers v. Eagles playoff game. The place was full, but not obnoxiously packed. The waitstaff were sparse but did a damned good job given the crowd.
We each ordered 1/4 lb dogs, mine chili cheese and my son's with just tomatoes. I had the coleslaw and he had the potato salad.
We were pleasantly surprised when the food came out. The dogs were large and tasty, on nicely toasted bread. The coleslaw was very good, and Will said the potato salad was good too.
Certainly not a place to go if you're in a big hurry, but if you're looking for a good atmosphere sports bar with better than average bar food, this place is perfect. We will be back. -

Bay Area, CA
This little restaurant sits on a golf course. I never understood the appeal with houses on golf courses, hotel rooms on golf courses, basically anything *on* a golf course. Why run the risk of having your windows broken by a stray ball? Or having strangers wander close and peer into your business?
Every seat in the house has a view of a TV-- the walls are lined with TVs, each is muted and each has a different sport on. The sound in the restaurant comes from the radio, or a CD, or satellite radio... popular music blasting from speakers.
The food is American in style. Soups/salads, burgers, sandwiches, classics. I had a cheese and turkey melt which had way too much honey butter but came with a side of onion rings and BBQ sauce so no complaints from me on the meal.
Service is fast and friendly. Prices are about $9 per entree but happy hour is from 3-6 for those that like to eat cheap appetizers with their full priced entree. -

The bartender needs a lesson in bartending.
The worst bloody mary with cheap ass vodka, didn't ask what kind I wanted, poured the mix into it. Didn't add anything into it. Couldn't drink it. Ordered a margarita. Again no extra anything... 1 shot of tequila, 2 shots of triple sec and sweet and sour... Undrinkable, plus she was tubby, slow, and unfriendly. The 1 star is for the dirty old man who told me to behave and if I didn't, to give him a call! Plus the times I have been here and had food, it was so unforgettable that I forgot what I had! -

How is it that I've never reviewed this place? I love Beebs. Not only is it close to my house, it also has a happy hour that lasts from 4pm-7pm. The appetizer specials during happy hour rock. I recommend the Thai chili wings. I usually get a salad for lunch/dinner. The Beef & Blue salad is great. My personal favorite is the BBQ Chicken salad. I've eaten here with my folks, my friends, my man and co-workers. Nobody ever has anything bad to say about the food. IMO... the only drawbacks are the waitresses are really busy so service can be slow and sometimes the golfers coming in off the course are a little...smelly. Twice, I've had to move away from a mal-odorus group of guys. ( I golf, too so I know it's hot & you sweat but Speed-stick is your friend. )

Great weekend breakfast or work week lunch spot.
Good price, good food with lots of monitors offering a variety of sporting events.
Family friendly, roomy and plenty of parking. -

I have to disagree with the negative reviews! This is, after all, a sports bar, not a sit-down restaurant. However, there is a banquet room where you can have private events, and aside from the golfcourse view, I wouldn't recommend it as the classiest place to have a formal event.
So let's keep it simple...20 flat screens playing all the sports channels you can think of (this is how my 3 year-old daughter learned what baseball, basketball, football and horse racing was), above average food for sportsbar fare (nachos that rock and flavorful thai chili wings), happy hour specials (half-off pitchers on tap), family-friendly atmosphere (kids eat free on weeknites) = 4 stars in my book! -

Flew in Saturday morning at 9:00am. Busy but not packed.
Server was nice but way over tasked! Coffee and water took 10 minutes. Coffee was weak at best. Breakfast served 20 minutes after arrival.
Food was good quality and quantity.
Value was right, 22 bucks pre tip for two full meals with coffee.
Four stars if the service wasn't overworked and slow. -

I golf ocassionally at Las Positas Golf Course, striding through the 9-hole Executive Course just to get it out of my system. Beeb's is situated on the golf course, the restaurant look out onto the greens. It's your typical sports bar... televisions supported in every corner, each showing different ESPN sporting events. The menu is mediocre, not a lot to choose from, but the meals are pretty large portioned and fair to the tastebuds.
Let's put it this way... after a game of golf and several Bloody Mary's later, the food is excellent and the restaurant offers more than decent air-conditioning to cool down in. -

Beebs has been a very nice surprise. Friends have said that they have good food, so we tried it out for dinner one night with the kids. I had a rib eye steak, the girls had a hot dog with grilled onions, a french dip sandwich, and the rosemary chicken sandwich (on focaccia bread). Everyone was pleased. The service was pleasant, and accommodating, but quite busy.
Today we decided to go there for breakfast, although it was clear on the other side of town. It was past 11am when we got there, but they still served us breakfast, even though the menu says it is served only to 11am. I am so glad! Wow, what a good Denver Omelette. Lately I've let the bar get lower and lower when it comes to breakfast. Most of the time I get hash browns are dry or burned, an omelette is usually a mixed bag of raw veggies and rolled up in a sheet of egg, while a side of english muffin is often either not toasted, or burnt.
I am happy to say that Beebs' breakfast was The Best. The onions and peppers had been grilled with the ham. The egg was actually a folded-over into a half-circle - they fried it in a pan! OMG, how original. The hash browns were quite nicely done, but home hash browns would be a nice touch... The service was attentive, if sparse at times. Overall, I was as pleased as could be. We will return! -

Came here on a Friday afternoon during lunch hour. It was pretty busy inside, so we opted for patio seating.
There was 7 of us. We ordered relatively simple and straightforward items from the menu. No extras. The waitress was hospitable and a good server.
Our food just took FOREVER to come out. I don't know why. We waited a good half hour before our food came out. I know it was busy, but we all ordered salads and sandwiches. Stuff that doesn't take THAT long to make.
Anyway, I'll probably give them another chance, because my BLT was stacked and fries were crispy and pretty good. -

I've worked Beeb's twice as a DJ roadie. Once was a wedding, once was a retirement party.
A roadie doesn't do much, just schlepp around and set up and breakdown the equipment. We usually have a lot of downtime. I liked downtime at Beeb's cuz I could go outside and have a cigar without being hassled, or hang out at the sport's bar and watch the Sharks.
As an event location, the food is decent, but the space is a bit limited. Also if you get married or have an event on certain dates, you may have to compete with the noise and craziness of regular bar events. i.e. playoff parties, etc. The ceremony location is nothing special, and is a bit plain.
However, the service is wonderful, and the price is very good. -

I call Beeb's my "Country Club" becuase my fiance and meet here for lunch quite often. "Babe, lets meet at the Country Club for lunch today" LOL
Services is good and food is really good. Its gets quite busy during lunch hours and on nice days the patio area is packed. A word of caution when eating on the patio...there are lots of birds just waiting for you to leave and swoop on your left overs. I really hope they are sanitizing the tables cuase these birds walk all over the table. Anyway, some note able items to try when you are there:
Wester BBQ cheese burger with bacon....yummy and delicious. Instead of onion rings they use freshly fried onion straws.
Try their clam chowder. Almost as good as the bowl I had when I visited Boston.
The Classic club. Fresh crispy bacon served with turkey,L,T. Served triple deck style and scrumptious. Their fries have always been fried to perfection, crispy out side and tender in side. (Hint...mix a little Beaver horse radish spread with ketchup) its BOMB!
Tuna Melt...exactly as you expect it. No frills here. Just white albacore tuna on grilled sourdough and fries.
The special trip tip dip is good also.
I hope you enjoy dining at my "Country Club" -

I was in Livermore for business the other day, and wanted to find a nice sport bar type place to eat dinner with some associates and watch the ncaa basketball tournament. Found beeb's on yelp, and it was actually about 1/3 of a mile from our hotel.
We were lucky and found a table right away, and it was pretty busy on a Friday evening. We had just missed happy hour, so we didn't get to get in on cheap appetizers.
Our party ordered a couple of different burgers, a Thai wrap, some potato skins, and I had a prime rib sandwich. Overall, I think the food was decent. Nothing extravagant or crazy good, and nothing was bad either. It was just alright. The prices were maybe slightly high, but not bad.
Service could've been a little quicker, seemed like they needed another server or two working that shift.
One last thing, it is a restaurant on a golf course, so it does have that 19th hole feel, and there are a lot of people fresh off the course. This isn't a problem. -

Oh Beebs, I can't wait to come back during football season!! The multiple tvs are perfect for keeping up with your fantasy league. The waitresses are hot, the food is alright, the bartender is cool, and the atmosphere is just chill. You can wear your teams jersey and not worry about anyone harrasing you. You can step outside and have a nice view of the golf course. This place is like Cheers.. it's a bar "where everybody knows your name".

GARLIC FRIES GARLIC FRIES GARLIC FRIES!!!
Best garlic fries I have ever had. The service was good. The food was good. I had a turkey/avacado wrap. It was pretty good; my only complaint was they didn't list red onions as a component of the wrap... had I known, I could have requested no onions. Anyhow, I'll be back again to try something different, and of course, eat more garlic fries :)~ -

The Steak and Blue salad needs a new name; call it deli roast beef salad. It was not steak, just fried sandwich meat. And they pre-toss it with the blue cheese dressing, which was excessive. Ask for dressing on the side, so it is not completely covered with mayonaise with blue cheese chunks in it. Probably will not return any time soon.

The place is in a golf course area. Reminds me of a sports bar because of all the tv tuned to the sports channel. I been here 3 times and i think the food is decent. I think the portions could be a bit bigger. I think for the price i would go somewhere else to eat. They serve typical american food. The only thing this place has going for it is the location. Nothing else is near by to eat really that is not fast food.

I know, it is a sports bar, and you shouldn't get anything exotic. My friends chose it. I tried the chicken salad, and it was unbelievably salty, silly me.... I guess salad was too much to ask for. I am sure the food is fine if you stick to the basics. To me it was just a waste of money.

Pretty good bar-type food which was perfect for lunch. I want to try breakfast, so we will definitely go back. Server was nice, atmosphere is what you would expect at a golf course. I'm glad we went and we will go back!

I like beebs to drink beer and watch a game. But the food is not that good and the kitchen is extremely slow. It took 20 minutes once to get a hot dog that I ordered at the counter for faster service and it wasn't even close to crowded. And then to top it off it was cold. The breakfast, however, is not bad.

Beeb's is flat out, a sports bar. It's at Las Positas Golf Course which is Livermore's muni. The beer is cold, service is cheerful and they make great burgers, fries, potato skins and the like. It's very popular with the locals.

I had never been here and just visited it as a lunch stop in-between flights. It is an easy walk from the Livermore Airport's transient tie-down area to this sport's bar which is actually part of the nearby golf course. I've only been here a couple of times but I haven't been disappointed yet with the food or the service. Maybe I was just lucky or not? I had some good food at a decent price.

i have been to beeb's many times but mostly for breakfast before we golf and after for many drinks in the bar. the breakfast is pretty good for what they have to work with. the kitchen is small and the dining area is almost that of a upscale cafeteria. i have yet to have anything but booze and breakfast but the menu overall looks really good. honestly i don't think it will blow my mind but it is las positas golf course and definitely no pebble beach. there are many tvs with plenty of seating throughout beeb's. this is definitely a cool bar to have before and after golf but it's not a place i hang out at on a regular basis.

My boyfriend won a gift certificate here while at a Chamber of Commerce mixer. We have held onto it for over 3 months, saying "Someday we'll go get that free dinner at Beebs." Yesterday was our lucky day! We went in, the decor is "sports bar"... the servers are young, but who cares? Our guy, Garret(?) was awesome, totally attentive, very friendly and gave good advice on the food. We ordered the fish tacos and the NY steak sandwich, both with fries and a Blue Moon each (no mixed drinks.) The steak was mildly overcooked, I asked for med rare and it came med.... no biggie to me, it was well seasoned and delicious. And MMM, the fish tacos came with this yummy chipotle white sauce. I was pleasantly surprised. I wasn't really looking forward to Beebs, but I am super happy with the meal. Plus they have happy hour from 4-6, so our beers were pretty cheap. The food is cheap too, not too many items over $10.00. I'll be back for sure. As an added bonus, this place is full of men. Fresh-off-the-golf-course men. If you are a single girl looking for some eye candy and a good happy hour, I definitely recommend Beebs!
