A tapped-in friend recommended this place. Surprised it's not more popular - it's the best deal in town. I got a Simmons Worldclass Pillowtop Queen for $999. At Mattress Discounters it was on promotion for $1500, Mancini's for $1300 and Sleeptrain for $2000, and forget about Macy's. They won't give you a discount but their prices rock (bottom).

buying a mattress can be a harrowing experience. the retailers purposely have multiple names for the same mattress to make price comparisons difficult and you usually have to haggle with no idea of what the true value of the mattress is.

i thought i had a pretty good deal on a low end sealy mattress after playing off sleeptrain and mattress discounters across the street against each other. feeling pretty good about myself, i headed down to bedroom and more to buy a bed which i'd researched on the web to discover that bedroom and more had the best price. the friendly owner offered free delivery if i bought a mattress too. after telling him i just bought one, i learned that sleep train and mattress discounters have the same owner! d'oh!

no need for bargaining at bedroom and more, the owner just prices fairly upfront. for the same price as my low-end sealy, i was offered a mid-range simmons pillowtop. i called up sleeptrain to cancel which they duly did. they also demanded to know where i was buying my new mattress from as they couldn't believe the price i got. =)

Excellent Customer Service! I bought a bed and mattress here in the beginning of August. The mattress was a relatively high end Serta, and after a month of terrible sleep I could take no more. The mattress was just uncomfortable. I thought it would be a hassle to return, but a month after the purchase, Eric the owner replaced the mattress with a model from a different company no questions asked. Service like that is a rarity these days, and for that reason alone I would recommend these guys. Also during the initial visit to the store it was very low key, no high pressure tactics like at the other stores. We got a very fair price and excellent service to boot! Again strongly recommend!

Oh man, I almost feel privileged to be the first reviewer for this place.  No used car sales tactics here!  After being given the run-around at Sleep Train ("I'll give you a killer deal bro"), Mattress Discounters (owned by Sleep Train) and Mancini Sleep World ("we'll extend the sale price for you"), we stopped into see Eric after a recommendation from a friend.

This place sells the same core selection of beds as just about everybody else (Simmonds, Sealy, Temperpedic etc...), but the prices are about half--literally, $1000 cheaper in our case--what you'll be quoted at the big-volume outlets.

Plus the owner/sales guy Eric doesn't push a sale down your throat.

Plus, he has a Buddhist shrine at the back of the store.  How could you say no?

Visited Bedroom & More after seeing all the good reviews on Yelp.  Had a very good shopping experience.  Heather was quite helpful but not the least bit pushy and no hard "upsell."  Felt like I got a very good deal on a basic, queen-sized Simmons Beautyrest mattress and was delighted by the free delivery!  (Plus they took away our old, worn-out mattress for only $20.)  I dinged the store one star for their "no refunds" policy.  Fortunately, we're happy with our mattress.  Overall, I'd recommend Bedroom & More.

I got my mattress there and it didn't require any wheeling and dealing with the owner.  Better price than the Mattress Discounters, Mancini's, etc.  I'm in the process of buying a sofa and had a good shop there today.  Reasonable price for a really nice one, so I'll probably buy there.  If I do, I'll update my post.

Update:  Bought the sofa -- love it!

fantastic, friendly service, no hard sell (i hate the hard sell).  i bought a frame and mattress, they worked with me on the delivery schedule.  a week after my purchase, i decided i didn't like how the bed looked in my place.  i walked in, told eric this, chose a new bed, and once again eric was very accommodating on the delivery schedule.  no hassle return/exchange.  i highly recommend this place.
